Zelle does not allow you to contact them

They do not allow you to contact them except to report a scam. Ridiculous. It is their name on the service, and if my bank claims no reponsibility for not transferring money using Zelle, then Zelle needs to know about it.

I been using Zelle for a few years but…

I been using Zelle for a few years but no more.. they rejected a payment to an address on file with them and I cannot get a resolution. I was relying on Zelle to make rent payments to my landlord. I attempted to resolve problem with my bank, Ally, and was told it's all up to Zelle. Zelle is unreachable as they require.. only was possible.. a mobile no to verify my ID but I don't have or use a mobile phone and Zelle ignores the problem and I now have to seek alternative payment process. Zelle demonstrates the same business model most large internet based corps implement: "for every customer we lose we get 5 new ones so why bother with customer service"

Today I tried to send 1500 to my landlord, but I received a notification that I could only send 500. So I tried to send 500, and it got blocked. Now I have to wait 48 hours just to be able to send 500... Is this a joke?

new bank account

Just opened a new bank account and the individual tried to get me to explore Zelle. I asked her what protections does Zelle offer over checks. The silence was deafening. Relayed they need to stop offering it, it only protects the Bank, using checks provides fraud protection as 'forged signatures' are the bank's responsibility, unlike Zelle which shifts liability to the account holder.

Buisness vs personal account

12/16/2025: I tried to sell something on Facebook marketplace so the buyer sent $80 via Zelle. I was unable to accept the payment because it was coming from a business account and I also needed a business account. I attempted to upgrade my account to business and we worked together to make it look like a big transaction so that way the business account verification could be accepted. I have spent three days trying to upgrade my account by transferring money multiple times and I still have yet to get back my $900 as well as the $80 from Facebook marketplace. I will now be closing my bank account so that way zelle does not have access to my bank account anymore.
01/13/2026: I am being charged $900 by my previous bank for supposedly uploading a false check. I do not have this kind of money so a collection agency will now be involved to get more money from me.

Zelle is garbage

Zelle is garbage, it only uses partnered banks, their customer service is trash, their app is awful, their UI is seizures inducing, and the whole experience makes me believe they should be shut down. What an absolute dumpster fire of an app and service

Zelle is the worst nanny company ever.

Zelle is the worst nanny company ever.
I will look for any other means to pay first.
If I have enough in my account then I should be able to send it.
Enough with the daily and 30 day rolling limits.
Terrible service on getting limits raised.
Too many rules.
You have to use different identifiers at different banks, but only ids that they approve.
Update: They finally approved a higher limit after this review and other complaints that were filed.

I sent money from USAA through zelle to…

I sent money from USAA through zelle to my daughter which she never received and upon contacting zelle they supposedly launched an investigation, but they took a little over a month to say they see the money going out and to my daughter. Then they took the temp credit back.

Zelle is useless!

Zelle is useless! I sign up for Zelle and try to use it once and I get an error message that says I have to contact my Bank. Then I wait on hold for over an hour, finally get to answer 20 questions and am able to send money to solve an emergency. Then, I try to send the same amount on the following day (after 24 hours) and get all the same problems and finally am told there is nothing the bank customer service can do and that I should look for another way to send money!! On top of that, the Zelle website offers no means of contact for any help at all... not even a chat. Don't waste your time.

Zelle SHOULDN'T EXIST

Zelle SHOULDN'T EXIST AT All Life was better without THEM !
The 1st case neither the 2nd CLAIM. I believe they take long on purpose so that you won't get your money back, we made a claim on September of 2025 and never sent info regarding this money. They did this through the phone and they used Bank of America logo to do the Scam. We SPENT well OVER 4HR TALKING TO DIFFERENT STAFF THAT LIED ABOUT SENDING these claims! We have 2 Claims open for investigation and it's looking like it's a waste of time keeping money in this Bank WITH ZELLE because they don't want to do their job and they are robbing the customers from their own bank. Not to mention they never even went back to retrace their FOOTSTEPS on the phone on how it happened. They had the nerve to say, "Sorry we can't help you that's your fault..." Are you kidding me, smh they are elderly and this is the reason why they did it in the 1st place because they took advantage😡 of them. ZELLE IS A BIG SCAM ALONE ITS A JOKE AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHUT THEM DOWN NOW !

Their system is low grade garbage. Constant calling to find money and then it's always something on the senders side which is a complete lie. This system sucks. I cannot recommend finding a different option enough. DO NOT USE ZELLE.

Would never use Zelle again

Would never use Zelle again. Multiple failed transactions, low limit with bank, frozen or locked account due to “suspicious activity”. Banks aren’t properly trained on how zelle works! Just a nightmare and all just to send 3100 dollars?

Worst Customer Service Ever

Worst Customer Service Ever. I sat on the phone for over 2 hours to resolve a problem with something someone wanted to buy from me now here I am typing this let’s just say all my money is gone from my account. Yes it was mostly liking a scam. But David that was the name I was given told me I have to wait to see my money back in my account the next day you would think with all the technology we have nowadays it be quicker nope your wrong so now I have to wait and hope my money is back in the morning. Now I have to figure out how to pay for things let alone feed myself and family. Zelle do better.

Absolutely some of the worst software…

Absolutely some of the worst software ever designed and it's in FINANCE! I had zelle with my old bank, and it kinda worked like normal. But my bank stopped supporting it and now my email address still accepts zelle payments, but there's no drop dead simple way to get them to a new location, so I get constant push notifications from zelle which lead absolutely nowhere. It should not be a surprise, given how piss poor their software is, that they go out of their way to make sure it's almost impossible to get ahold of anyone--and they try to pass off any questions to your bank--which the tech support at Charles Schwab noted--that they too find Zelle to be extremely glitchy.

Cannot find any way to login on your official website? What are you thinking when you developed that software ?!!!
Had bank that uses zelle receive zelle payment but cannot fond any way to find the actual zelle portal to send the money anywhere, ITS ALL CONVOLUTED BS, I think you companies do this on purpose to create stickiness on yoir websites to keep people staying their longer, there's No way yoi guys are Unintentionally this retarded

ZELLE HAS BEEN RUINED

Zelle used to work great when they had their own independent app. Now that they've partnered with my bank there is no possible way for me to use Zelle... I know this is also my banks fault, but the ONLY way to Zelle money is using the MOBILE version of my bank app. I do not own a smart phone and CANNOT download the mobile app. I purely use my laptop and a dumb phone. ZELLE HAS BEEN RUINED.
