The quality has definetly gone downhill…
The quality has definetly gone downhill in the last couple of years. Zara used to be a place with good quality clothes that could last you years now I can see clothes falling apart on the rack.
Men are allowed in woman’s changing area
Went to Zara in Brighton with my 13 year old
Niece and when she entered the changing room there was a man in there
She came straight out to me and told me so I questioned this, they claim they have changed their policy to be inclusive. The thing is he wasn’t even trying clothes on he was advising his GF on what made her look fat ! We left immediately as I do not want a 13 year old in a changing area where men can just walk in and get undressed
Poor customer service
Poor customer service.
Enough staff in the shop floor and one staff member on tills….. always queues - every time I come to Zara Solihull. No urgency. Taking returns at main till and slowing down even more. Now been in the queue 40 mins to buy one item. Have now given up. Disappointed and frustrated.
Can’t process returns?
Goods arrived great.. need to send something back but only being offered a drop off in Scotland… I live in Cornwall!? Can’t get any help.. can’t get a response..So can’t return … poor customer service!
Poor website.
Such a cool brand, but the website is incredibly poorly built. Even ChatGPT could do a better job. No wonder nobody orders online from these guys, it's clearly an in-store-only thing.
The one star is for the comedy experience alone
The one star is for the comedy performance only!
The service I received is like a comedy sketch, a very imaginative mind as to how not to do customer service.
My order was split into two parts, 2nd part never arrived, no collection code, no confirmation, nothing! I contacted ‘customer service’ to be told to wait 24 hours, nothing so again I battle with the AI chat bot to be put through to someone who said I need to wait 48- 72 hours, maybe longer. Still nothing! Then I get an email asking if I’d received all of my items, guess what, from a no reply email. Wish me luck trying to answer their question. I’ve paid for delivery, they have charged me the full amount, I have to pay for returns but cannot rerun if I don’t have the item!
I’m annoyed I didn’t check these reviews before I ordered, I normally do but I naively thought Zara being a well known high street name would not behave in such an appalling manner.
Incident
Incident: June 18, 2026 at around 1930-1935hrs: in Zara store in 215-219 Oxford St, London W1D 2LG: As I’m going out to the store there’s this lady who went out the store first and the alarm beep and I’m at her back. But the security(I know he’s just doing his job in a professional way) had asked me to come back and be check. The lady who went first me who actually caused the alarm beep on the door just walked away(and I discovered later that the lady is the store manager). I was holding my regatta jacket because it’s quite warm and the security wanted to see what I’m holding on my hand under the jacket, and he checked it’s my mobile that I’m holding. And I told the security that he need to give me an evidence why he need to check on me wherein I told him that he should check also the lady before me because it beep before I went out to the store. The security had asked me politely that he will just ask question and he showed me his mobile and showed me white blouses photos(#3 pieces) if I purchased those in the photos and I said “NO”. The #3 white blouses looked small sizes and it won’t even fit on me because I’m size 16 to 18. The security had let me go and when I went out in the door of Zara store it even didn’t alarm, no beeping sound. It just shows that I had nothing to hide and the alarm beep before was from the lady before me(which is the store manager). I only spent few minutes in this store and I didn’t bought anything. I didn’t even try any clothes at all. I didn’t even remove any clothes from the hangers at all.
I’m so upset that after this incident after few minutes I went back to the store and I told the other security whose there at that time when I came back that I actually sorry that I got upset with the other security but I told him that they should check the lady before me because it alarm(beep) the door before I step on the door.
The store manager knowing that it alarm when she went out, what she did and just look at me and run away. She should stopped and voluntarily let her belongings be check by the security even if she’s the store manager. She should set a good example to other employees and customers. I can see from the other stores that if an employee had caused for the door to alarm, the security check their belongings. It should be done in this Zara store.
I know the security had done their job professionally but they shouldn’t be afraid to challenge the store manager. What kind of store manager is she if she’s causing the problem and other customers be blamed for what she had caused to make the alarm go. That’s so unprofessional.
Worse customer service ever
Worse customer service ever. Do not buy from this company. When I places the order, it said that it would be delivered the datly after. I spent 2 weeks asking them where my order was. Then I received an email stain gthta it has been delivered (2 weeks after I ordered it) with a picture of the parcel in the front garden, however, the parcel is not there as that it not a safe place in the area I live. They don't feel responsible for that lost, I don't have sandals, and they don't want to give me my money back. Extremely disappointed!!!
Watered down Fashionably London Elxir perfumes
I have bought around 5 bottles of Zara Fashionably London Elixir perfumes as when I wore it, people everywhere used to stop me to ask what perfume i was wearing? However, my last (half used) bottles, the scent has gone 😢
I then bought another 2 bottles from Zara Watford, opened the first new bottle today 17th June and there is hardly any scent at all. Seems to be watered down!!
I am so disappointed that I'm going to take both bottles back tomorrow to Zara Watford.
I didn't expect this from Zara at all. Highly disappointed. I will never buy this perfume again.
To add. Im a disabled person, and when ever I go to Zara in Watford, the service is so bad and always just one person at the till. They are rude and just walk past you even when you say "excuse me" to get attention. When I couldn’t find my Fashionably london elixir perfume, they were sending me up and down
Ridiculously rude and not professional at all. But the highest disappointment is the perfume. Is this to do with law suits with Zara and Joe Malone????
Please be careful when buying perfumes
from Zara..not the same anymore.
send item without belt
send item without belt . Dress (cost 100£) is out of stock and i wish to keep it . asked to send a missing belt . support going back in circles asking me to send the dress back in order to issue a full refund . not reading that i wish to keep the dress ( sold out) and get missing belt only . or partial refund for the missing part of the garment. my request was completely ignored. Seems all AI generated responses too. terrible service
Lacking customer service
The items were very lovely but I have to agree that the customer service is not the best.
Refused to refund my item even though…
Refused to refund my item even though it came damaged
Customer service is shite
I made an order online but never received confirmation of an order number will that be ordered had been delivered to the store. I went in anyway and they said it would’ve been returned as it was past the seven days. I tried to reach customer service on the chat box and they would just close the conversation, be actively rude and extremely unhelpful. It has been over a month and the money has not returned into my account. And all the Customer Services are refusing to help.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would, disgusting treatment to individual with disabilities, constantly chasing for two weeks for a refund, kept being told it was being sent to my bank, never happened, constantly lied to, palmed off, worst customer service, will never shop at Zara again!
Dreadful customer service
Similar to most recent reviews, customer service is just appalling.
I’ve dropped my keys in changing rooms in a store which isn’t local to me, there is no way of contacting the store, customer service are no help whatsoever and the only help or advice given is to travel back to the store to see if they’ve been handed in. It shouldn’t be this complicated!
I’ve shopped with Zara for years but their (lack of) customer service means I’ll not shop with them any more. Really disappointing
Easily the worst customer service
Without a doubt the worst customer service I’ve come across. I received an order addressed to someone else. I contacted customer service and it was near impossible to get anyone to understand that my parcel was missing and not “delivered”. I had to arrange a collection of the wrong parcel and am still trying to locate my order and or get a refund after several attempts with the online chat. Will never order from Zara again
Missing order
Very disappointing experience. My parcel was not safely delivered, and despite contacting customer service multiple times, I did not receive a satisfactory response or resolution.
I gave the company the opportunity to resolve the issue directly, but the lack of accountability and poor communication left me with no confidence in their service. As a customer, I expect deliveries to be handled properly and issues to be taken seriously when something goes wrong.
Because this matter remains unresolved, I am now considering legal action under UK consumer law. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
Refusing to refund an item I never received!
I ordered and paid for an item instore as it was out of stock. When I got home I realised that the assistant made an error and ordered it for collection instead of delivery which is what I requested, so I cancelled the order. I have email evidence of the purchase and payment on my credit card statement. Zara have sent me round in circles and are refusing to issue a refund. They just repeatedly say that payment is not taken until dispatch. But it was paid in store! They refuse to read my messages or escalate my concern. I will now take it to the ombudsman to sue them. I will never buy from Zara again. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!
Lara at the Brighton branch
Lara at the Brighton branch was so patient with me today. I had a complicated refund and I struggle with instructions due to anxiety, but she was just lovely. Not patronising or huffy, just lovely. Thank Lara.
Royal mail delivered my parcel to…
Royal mail delivered my parcel to someone else. However Zara didn’t even try to sort out the situation. All i was told proof of delivery in a shed. Totally wont recommend buying online with Zara because any items misplaced , Zara wont even get into the bottom of the matter.
