No show agent, then application was accepted then denied?
We had scheduled a visit to an apartment, we got there and waited over 40 minutes for the agent to arrive, all the while calling to try and get in touch with our calls going straight to voicemail. We left because we lost hope. We managed to get in touch with the apartment again and got a visit however the application process was insanely messy. Not only was the information we were given and what was on the site was wrong according to the agent at the apartment. but we applied and paid the €200, then very quickly got an email that our application was accepted, and were charged the remaining amount of rent, however my card declined because it thought it was a fraudulent charge given how expensive it was. We then tried to get in touch with the agent to explain why it didnt go through only to be told that our application was denied? Horrible experience.

Great Startup and Support Team
Overall they are good, specially Massimilano from Support Team helped me alot in entire Rental process, he and Rebecca from onboarding team both are great.
Since they are new startup, they have mismanagements among their teams and their IT system right now, but hopefully they will try to solve them as soon as possible.
It seem very suspicious and scammy due to automatic payments, change of commitments but at the end, everthing was good and legit.
I recommend them, but make sure the process from first visit till getting the keys can take upto 30 days.

Do not trust them
Do not trust them. When you are about to write the contract, they do everything so perfectly that they seem trustworthy.However, there were some things that we initially thought were errors. Since they haven't updated them on their website in two years, I don't believe they were errors. For example, they stated there was no condominium fee (which implies it's included), but later we found out from the administration that we have to pay 140 euros every two months.
And, when you want to leave the house, they will bring a thousand different excuses to not give you back your deposit. Our apartment owner is totally happy with us and her place, but they are giving us both the hardest time and we have no idea When or if we are gonna have our mone back, needless to say they have contactted us 4month ago and we said we only will renew the contract in the case of getting back 4 out off 6 deposite that we have left, but they have renewed it whitout considaring it and now they are saying if we dont want it we have to pay 150 fin

Can't get my money back
I initiated the process of renting a house via Zappyrent in October. They've wrongly withdrawn the first month's rent and the deposit from my payment card when there was no contract ready. After presenting my documents, they took more than 3 weeks to get a contract ready. I was in a hurry, so I cancelled the process. After two months, I'm still trying to reach out to them about the refund of my money. Not a single good thing to say. Stay away.

I’ve never experienced such good customer satisfaction. The people that work at Zappy rent really go above and beyond to insure that your problems can be fixed and also go out of their way to hope find properties that fit exactly to your wants and needs. Marco in particular has been extremely helpful with finding a property, helping me through all the processes to secure a apartment and any issues I have after I moved in.

Property not as advertised | No deposit back | Blunt lies
In Brief:
Zappyrent advertised STUDIO apartment provided a room inside trilocale. Did not resolve the issues within 7 days as per contract. Zappyrent employees assured me in written on email, if property is not as per advertisement I will be refunded, I will be refunded the deposit after three months of notice. None of which happened.
Update: Here is the detailed response to Zappyrent
1. Zappyrent advertised the property as STUDIO. In reality, it was a room inside a trilocale. This is deviation massive deviation from advertisement and breach of trust and contract. Could you/Zappyrent share document of Italian govt or from comune or agenzia della entrate where the property is registered as STUDIO? & Prove that Zappyrent did not place a MISLEADING advertisement?
2. Zappyrent is responsible for showing the apartment, which zappyrent DID NOT show even after repeated requests. Further your colleagues, Serena and Isabella have assured and confirmed on email & calls that if property is not according to advertisement, will be duly refunded.
3. The property advertised was STUDIO with washing machine and double bed in reality there was no washing machine and there was a sofa bed. Did you resolve the issue in 7 days as per contract? No, this is breach of contract.
Also, I did not mention anything about dish washer, probably your translator did not work.
4. Your colleague serena gave 4 hours of time to sign the contract after assuring me if property is not according to advertisement I can raise a complaint and get refund, I have email proof of the same. (The email is already available with you Marco, read it again carefully)
5. The false document was shared by Zappyrent, it is the responsibility of Zappyrent to verify the documents they are valid and true.
6. Your colleague Serena confirmed the property can be left after giving 3 months notice, have email of the same and promptly read by you (Marco) and you have responded I will get the deposit back. As agreed 3 months notice which was promptly done.

The house I got was very different from the listing. They did not let me see the apartment before booking. I was given 2-3 hours to sign the contract. They said I can inform in 48 hours if the house is not according to the advertisement. I informed them within hours after moving. Even though there were major differences like a room in a trilocale instead of a Studio as advertised, lack of washing machine, lack of heating they did not take any action and responded once in a week and forced me to take the apartment.
They did not provide document to prove it was studio apartment and provided a false agenzia della entrata document.
After a few months of managing in that house, I gave them a three month notice that I would leave the apartment. Even with that they did not return a single penny from my deposit. I left the apartment in the same condition as I got it. Their strategy is to exploit everyone, especially foreign students. They show inhuman behaviour and are extremely rude in the emails. They use coercion to get the money and then gaslight every problem you will have in the house.

Worst experience ever
I don’t even know where should I start in the series of bad events that happened with this real estate agency.
The room that I selected was supposedly in an apartment shared with 6 person. What a great surprise to discover that we were in fact 10 people sharing a single working shower and a kitchen designed for 4. The agency has poured concrete to cut big rooms into two and of course charging a full 650 euro rent for those half rooms. I wasn’t able to close the shelter because it was on the other “room” and no curtains were installed. The window was old and the wood started to rot, giving no insulation and even water dripping in the room when it was raining.
My experience peaked when an employee broke into my room at 3am, completely drunken because he confused my room with the next one that was empty. It was pretty standard for the employees to use the empty rooms to sleep after their parties. He made himself a coffee the next day using our stuff.
I could go on and on but this should summarise already how they do “business”.
0 care, 0 responsibility
After my accomodation for 10 months has finished, there were only one unrepairable thing which is happened to not using that darwer, the aroma thing which doesnt belongs to us sinked and drawer damaged which is not costly compare to the deposit that i have sent at the first place(1700€) , they are of course not sending right time even they are ghosting you, they are not even answering!! Because you are done with them and they can send the deposit whenever they want. Because of this unprofessional attitude I lost my next house and currently staying at anyone who opens their door to me because that was my capital for changing the houses! I should notate this before i have sent the last rent i asked when they will send the deposit to me and they have said “FOLLOWING YOUR CHECK OUT IN 2 WEEKS”. Today is the 36th day. They are still ghosting and procrastinating it.
