Worst company ever to deal with app is always down

Worst company ever to deal with. We haven't been able to access the app or website for months now. My children can't access the app to know how much money they have on there. It's impossible to speak to a human, email is the only way. I can't even figure out how to cancel the card. So infuriating. DON'T get a Zaap card it's seriously gone downhill.

Stay away from Zaap

Stay away from Zaap, the app has been taken down, no access to website & server, emails dont get responded to, card does not work, have money on card unable to retrieve it. It is now 24/3/2023, still waiting since 10/3 several emails later no response And no REFUND has been processed nor received.!!!

Don't use ZAAP for Kid's Pre-Paid Mastercard

The App and website consistently fail to load. Inability to use and top up cards. No ability to speak to a human customer service officer. Email correspondence appears to still link the product with Heritage Bank (and its AFSL) which no longer has any affiliation with ZAAP. ZAAP cards & website link to CUSCAL Ltd (and its AFSL) but they have no access to accounts or an ability to assist. I recommend to stay well clear of ZAAP, Universal Cards and Zenith.

Very disappointed with the service

Very disappointed with the service - the app wont load the email password reset wont work, the website wont login and they are still taking money from my bank account for "top up" which i can't cancel or allocate to my kids cards so Zaap have effectively stolen my money - will be reporting the company for fraud on Monday with my bank and requesting an immediate return of all funds via the fraud route with my bank - Do not join this scheme they are terrible and looks like possibly criminal

The features are OK but overall the parent app and the online portal are so slow that most requests fail and makes it almost impossible sometimes to transfer funds to the kids cards.

No help when things go wrong.

My children's accounts have disappeared, I cannot log in and keep getting an error code and there is no-one on the face of the earth to help. The phone number tells you to send an email and then hangs up. I would have rated this higher as until now it has been good but I guess its all good as long as it works.

Xmas 2022 Child wallet failed

App was fine for a while. Xmas 2022 was when it all failed. Can only see parent wallet and can’t transfer to child wallet as it’s not even coming up on the screen! I’ve tried various ways to login, app, website, computer etc. Pretty disappointed as my son has a couple hundred Xmas money and can’t even use it!

Ruined my Christmas for my grandkids
I could not be more frustrated with this company
I have set all my grandkids with their own cards but when I deposited the money it never showed up in the parent wallet
I’ve been trying to contact them constantly over the last week and have received nothing despite asking for a call back several times
I am so upset and disappointed that the cards are useless as I cannot transfer anything to them and I can’t get any help from them
I feel that they have ruined Christmas for me and my family this year

I left that title up to get your attention.
I thought we'd been ZAAPPED and left scathing words. But they phoned me today and I am feeling much better about them!
I'm still not too happy about the new monthly fee however.

FRAUDS!

FRAUDS!

Another upset customer here and after reading the other reviews, it seems that there are many of us.

I asked for my ZAAP accounts to be closed and my daughter’s savings to be returned to my bank. They replied promptly and quickly closed my accounts but have since ignored my emails and won’t return the money!!

They’ve closed the accounts so that we can’t spend our money and won’t give it back to us either. They’ve kept my money and I don’t know how to get it back!

I’ve sent many, many emails which they are just ignoring. You cannot contact them by phone.

So angry….STAY AWAY!!

ZAAP stole my money.

Transferred $150 for my son's birthday he was unable to make any purchases with the card. I reported it, and there is still no contact over a week later. It looks like their website has shut down (still announcing new site coming early February). Do not give these people any more money, they are con artists.

Too glitchy

Too glitchy. You can't transfer money over when you need to - when you try & find out why you have to wait 2 days for an email back. They tell you to use the website instead of the phone to transfer, but now the website is "under maintenance" until Feb. My son was away on holidays and we couldn't get the money transferred over to him so it was completely useless. Its a good concept, just badly done.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!

This company is an absolute scam. The cards and bands don't work and the customer service is dreadful! The phone number connects to no one so you have to wait for them to email back. I was initially refused a refund until I sent them a link to the ACCC's website.
I have been waiting on a refund for a month only to be told they need my card details again. I provided it and only to receive an email saying they cannot refund to my card and now want to send me a digital card and need my phone number.
It could be a wonderful product however they do not have the tech to back up their idea. Do not waste your time and money, stick with giving you kids cash, or free cards from any bank.
