As an administrator using YouScience at our school, I found the file upload and management processes unnecessarily complicated and confusing—especially for new staff. Despite following instructions carefully, I had to call multiple times to get support, and even then, resolution was slow.

Early in my tenure, I was completely frustrated and emailed support asking for simplification, as the processes felt overly cumbersome for schools. The lack of intuitive workflows and clear guidance makes onboarding new staff unnecessarily stressful.

Unfortunately, this experience contributed to a very negative start for me, and ultimately, it influenced the decision not to renew my contract. I believe YouScience could greatly benefit from simplifying admin processes and providing more proactive support, particularly for new users.

This is so boring i'm doing this in school and I could be doing way better things then this stupid crap like studying for my tests and other stuff that's more important.

you science is horrible it gave me like 30 dumb questions and it took so long to just do an aptitude test for cca class its just horrible and the worst and dont know why anyone would willingly go through the mental boringness and pain- to the maker of the aptitude test, i hate you (science)

I've never experienced a piece of teaching materials LESS built for teachers and with MORE problems and issues. The materials are written by incompetent morons who've never set foot in a classroom, and the materials often lack the worksheets/assignments they claim to have attached to the modules. Half the time, I couldn't even get the pdfs to work without them breaking apart and crashing my whole computer. I've never had this happen before with any other teaching material. It's the biggest scam that's ever scammed.

So it says i'm athletic, artistic, and a 3d visualizer, so WHY does it give me finance (just counting and keeping track of stocks) when I had NOTHING out of ALL of the things to do with it? 1 star terrible site never use it lies and does everything wrong and it probably uses a very poor ai to get everything

Terrible website didnt tell me anything about my careers they based it off of a few brain games that were incredibly easy and basic and they think im a farmer even though I destroyed the brain games do not use the games or any app in general to get wayy better results

Youscience is generally okay. I took this for school and I can see it helping someone in the future. However, it got a lot of information about me and others incorrect. For example, on the associative memory portion it gave me the lowest possible score ("Cue User") when I am known for having an excellent memory and ability to retain information- that is quite literally the reason I perform well in school. Another friend got "liasoned introvert", but in reality she is quite social and perfectly fit the description of "blended specialist". The tests for these are quite arbitrary as well- showing pictures and asking the user to group them together into logical groups is very relative on the user's personal experience, but only has one correct answer based on the test creator's experience. I can see this working after tweaks and consideration of biases, but currently it just doesn't provide accurate or useful information.

I am a video and film teacher that is located in a public arts high school. Before I started teaching, I worked in the IATSE film industry. When I started teaching, the items that were being presented top the students were very exaggerated from what we learn in the industry. I was having a hard time figuring out how I was going to give students the opportunity to express themselves creatively, while learning and understanding what actually happens in the film industry.

When I discovered YouScience and learned about the Precisions exams and the Seamless platform, I knew the direction that I wanted to put my program in.

This school year, I tested my students on the Video Production 1 Precision exam to test their knowledge and see how well I have been teaching my students. all of my video & film students Freshmen to Senior have earned and received a Video Production 1 Certification. The Precision Exam platform has shown me as an educator, that I am providing the right material to help my students succeed.

Moving forward, Next year, I plan on hyper-focusing Seamless and taking on the database to use it as effectively as I can.

This school year, I introduced Seamless to my students and we attempted to use the platform, but due to district restrictions (school emails whitelisted seamless by district) and my lack of understanding the difference from opportunities and activities, I do not think we as a class used Seamless as effectively as we wanted to.

Once next school year starts, I plan on understanding the platform the best of my knowledge and also adding some of my professional industry partners to the platform also.

I feel like should be a salesperson for YouScience! I have seen the impact for our students as well as my own personal children. When one of my children was preparing to graduate, he said he didn't understand how people just knew what they wanted to do with the rest of their lives while he was unsure. I had him take the YouScience Discovery, and as he read through the reports and information, I could see him start to relax and reflect all of his strengths, areas of growth, and possible career choices. He became more confident in himself. It made such an impact that my youngest son asked when he was going to take the test that would tell him what to do with the rest of his life! I really enjoy that it helps students learn about what they are good at even though they might not know. I encourage people all the time to look into this option for their students and their own children.

There are many instances of positive experiences. I love to hear the students talk about their results with each other. I hear things like,"Wow I didn't know I had the aptitude to do that!" When I am advising a student that is not sure about course selection, we look at their results and talk about courses they can take in high school to further explore their are of interest/aptitude.

Test questions on the phone are quickly taken care of.

The YouScience assessment is very difficult for 7th graders. The majority of students become very frustrated and don't try their best. Their results are inaccurate because they didn't have the maturity or readiness for such a difficult assessment.

YouScience is a thorough, aptitudes based assessment. The "brain games" were well received by our students and the research options were easy to use.

The training was good and the review on the website was a helpful too. Great response to a crash while trying to test, good support.

After emailing Britney, she noticed my last name had changed. She asked me about it and I told her about my recent marriage. The next day, she had beautiful flowers sent to my office! This is the level of kindness and attention, as well as the kind of relationship the customer success managers build with their constituents. I am so appreciative of them!

YouScience is the best tool to help students discover how they are personally wired and what career paths align with their aptitudes and interests! As I meet with students, I love the “ah ha” moment when they discover all the ways they can put their strengths and passions to work, literally!

This takes way too long! Students would like to proceed to the next area once they are finished. As a high school counselor we really cannot afford to lose the students but making the students wait until the time runs out does just that. If not for this issue I would be okay with but it’s not a good tool for a busy high school setting.

YouScience provides great customer service. They are solution oriented and always respond promptly to my inquiries, and the people are friendly. I've only used the Discovery brain games and Precision Exams products. They are very user-friendly for both teacher and students once you get the hang of it. For many students, this is the first time they have taken a hard look at their skills, interests, and aptitudes in a non-subjective way. Sometimes it confirms what they already know about themselves and other times it's a real eye-opener. The latter is where the magic happens. There's so much insight students can gain from their aptitude/interest/skills profile. With the Precision Exams students can validate their knowledge and skills in non-traditional areas (e.g. Fire Science, Fashion Merchandising, etc.) outside their academic core subjects. This gets them thinking beyond math, English, science and history.

I love using YouScience with our college students, especially those who are not sure they chose the correct major. It is so helpful in showing students all the possible options open to them with their individual aptitudes. Seeing the joy and relief on their faces when they realize the possibilities is very rewarding!
