Buzzbgone is useless! Total waste of time and money!
The advertising is just hyped-up bull.
If you've already ordered one, make sure to claim your refund within the first 30 days.
Buzz b gone ... in the bin!

In four years I have only caught a total od 7 fruit flies and one moth between the 3 units I paid $80 for.
Only a noisy LED BLUE LIGHT ornament.
Worst product promise ever!

Just a glowing ornament. Bought 3 of these, One for us and one each for two of our children. over 12 months this has only caught one gnat, in which case the unit may have only been in the gnats flight path. Dows not attract anything. Not sure if it is a scamor the sellers are ignorant of their product.

Just doesn’t work. I left mine outside for the entire life of the battery - in the morning it had literally one mosquito dead and stuck to it. The commercial showed hundreds of them piling up on the thing (as mosquitos tend to stick to is once “buzzed”) - the funny thing was, when I ordered Buzz be gone a couple years ago, it was just a commercial I saw on YouTube and I was fairly new to YouTube at the time - but over the next couple months I noticed commercial after commercial with the very same storyline as the one for buzzBgone and the same voice narrating it and even the same literal verbiage used. It’s been a couple years now and I truly just heard another one earlier today. That right there is testament to how stupid the company making this stuff really thinks people are - they literally can’t even be bothered to change the dialogue or have someone else narrate it. It was like they took the buzzBgone commercial and just recorded the name of the new product right over any point where the original mentioned a product name. I can’t even believe what they’re doing is legal. It can’t be.

I Purchased 2 x units and was excited when these arrived, as we were inundated with mozzies. Bitterly disappointed with the results... I was bitten all night and the batteries although charged when the units arrived, had one die after around 3 hours and the other did not make 8 hours .... Decided to try again a few weeks later. I had in the interim packed these units away and used a mozzie spray which worked. I carefully hung the 2 units as recommended and looked forward to a peaceful sleep with no mozzie bites... alas not a good sleep at all, both batteries died well before 6 hours of operation(charged fully before using) and not a single mozzie found inside the units... What an absolute waste on good money... and at the price paid...ripped off..... I'm now using these for disco lights ... actually caught 27 mozzies dancing around them.... (just letting off steam and not joking about disco backlighting, actually effective) (I don't have access to the exact date purchased in 2023 but honest feedback on a useless product which did not work)

Buzz B Gone was a total scam! I tested it extensively in an area loaded with millions of mossies and it killed about 3 overnight! It actually killed more moths than mosquitoes! I tried to get a refund from the Australian company that sold me two of them, but the freight cost was going to be more than the bloody refund! What a bunch of crooks! I am a technician so I pulled one apart and found it to be really nicely made with a decent sized battery and good quality components, so this left me scratching my head! Why would a company put so much time and expense into something that they can't have ever tested properly? It beats me.

Don’t listen to these people just bc it’s small? Small but mighty I just want to strap it on myself! I have 4 great purchases! sleep with one in your room at night and see how many flying bugs that you could swallow while sleeping, GROSS! It works while enjoying dinner on patio w/2 in middle of the table and wasn’t bitten all up!👍🏻 also small enough to take along to outside concert, Picknick 🧺, etc… worth my dollars🙌🏼

I WILL BE REPORTING THIS COMPANY TO BBB AND ANY WEBSITE I FIND!! DOES NOT WORK AND WHEN I ASKED FOR REFUND (SCAM) THEY SENT ME ANOTHER ONE AND CHARGED ME AGAIN!! TRIED TO CONTACT BUT NEVER ADDRESSED COMPLAINT! DON'T BUY!!!!!

Consistent with everyone else’s experience (really wish I’d reviewed before purchasing), my order was placed 4/22, shows as “Shipping label applied” on the same day, and nothing since.

I’ve tried emailing the company via the address they provided (mail@buzzbgone - zap.shop) and it conveniently comes back as undeliverable because “the remote server is misconfigured.”

DO NOT BUY. GO ELSEWHERE.

5/24/23 update: don’t be fooled by these obviously automated “responses” from the very kind, (definitely not a bot) “Gaia.” Notice how Gaia asks me to provide my order number when there’s no way to respond.

I got my order covered via charge dispute with American Express. If you can do likewise, don’t delay.

I placed an order on 04/26/23. The product tracking shows that it is not even in transit yet. Multiple contact forms garner zero response.

Horrible company with non existing service. I believe they don’t have customer service representatives just AI responding to email with irrelevant answers. Be careful they will charge as soon as you place items in your shooing basket. Items arrive from china. Very cheap quality. You can order exact same items for 1/3 of the price online.

Same as everyone else, this product does not meet the basic consumer standards and is not fit for purpose! I cancelled the order minutes after I placed it as I found proper reviews. They shipped it anyway. Finally they agreed to a refund via PayPal but would not pay return postage. PAYpal let them win as the item had been shipped. No response since. Have raised issue with my bank and awaiting an outcome.

I am extremely disappointed with this product. Contrary to their claims, they are utterly ineffective in catching mosquitos. We have trialed ours over the summer, and not one single mosquito was trapped. I have contacted the suppliers for a refund, and after an initial email claiming I was outside the time of doing this, I have not received any reply to subsequent messages.

I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!! I have had double payments taken from my credit card. No one replies to emails and texts. There is NO phone number to contact the company!! The product still has not been shipped or has any updates. READ THE REVIEWS, THEY SPEAK VOLUMES!! As you can see, they have time to reply to a negative review.
UPDATE! I received an email stating that they have processed a refund back to my account for the payment of the product that was order. That was over 20 business days ago!!!!!! AND STILL NO REFUND OR PRODUCT!

Totally agreed with all the "one star". BuzzBGone does not work! I should have checked with the better business bureau before buying. This is a gimmick business! BuzzBGone should list all the one star received on their website.

This product DOES NOT work and don't be fooled by their clever marketing. There should be a "zero" star allocation, which they would also struggle to achieve. The product was bought some 4 months ago (December 2022) and after several emails and complaints still no reply. The customer service is as bad as the product itself. Therefore don't waste your money on this product, as it only eliminates small harmless moths and NOT mosquitos. Vic

I purchased 4 BuzzBGone zappers and only received 3. Upon trying the products, they are not effective at all. Upon enquiring about the return policy, the company promised to look into it and get back to me. I've sent them several emails but it has been over 3 months and there have been no replies. I'd like to warn people about this product and ensure that you don't waste your money on such an ineffective product.

Wish I'd found this site before I'd made a purchase. Originally ordered. then received no tracking info even after multiple contact requests via their form. Was not until I contacted paypal that the items were delivered. I have received the items and what a waste of time, effort and money. I got bitten by more mosquitos then if I used no protection at all. Plus the ceiling of my loungeroom is now covered in black marks from the thousands of bugs they attracted inside from my deck. I've now requested a refund, though looking at these comments this may be a hassle too. Very glad I've purchased via paypal so that I can have followed up via them if no response received from the company.

The product does not work, and they will not give you a refund

I’m more than disappointed. Have received two BuzzBGone.
Thought I was buying 2 for $79.00 turns out my mistake … one for $39.00 the other was $79.
When arrived one cable would not charge machine so used the other to charge both .
2nd. complaint after charging twice they did not stay charged through the night
3rd. didn’t catch the mosquitos that continued to buzz around me.
I got in touch with the company BuzzBGone quite a few times . Then in shear annoyance something I’ve never done put on Facebook.
Got a reply from DFY. Who assured me would fix all…NO…. this has been going on for at least 2 weeks with all sorts of excuses even giving me wrong address to return to .
Which by the way if using Tracking which they say is the only way they will refund would cost a minimum from NZ to AustralIa $82. Then reading Trust pilot one cannot guarantee a refund.
I would never recommend using BuzzBGone or DFY.
Feeling very let down with buying on line to be honest put me off buying online.
