Poor service at Yorkshire Burrito Camden LONDON
Yorkshire Burrito - Camden Market, London ⭐☆☆☆☆
A Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience
I visited Yorkshire Burrito at Camden Market with high hopes for a quick, satisfying meal, but left thoroughly disappointed and frankly quite upset.
I ordered a vegetarian burrito, making it very clear to the server that I needed a meat-free option. When my order arrived and I took my first bite, I immediately realised something was wrong - there was chicken in my burrito. This was exactly what I'd specifically asked to avoid.
When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I expected a sincere apology and a quick resolution. Instead, I was met with rudeness and a shocking lack of professionalism. The manager was dismissive, defensive, and showed no genuine concern for their mistake. There was no attempt to rectify the situation properly or acknowledge the seriousness of serving meat to someone who had explicitly requested vegetarian.
For someone who is vegetarian for dietary, religious, or ethical reasons, this kind of error is more than just an inconvenience, it's deeply upsetting. The cavalier attitude from the staff only made matters worse.
I cannot recommend Yorkshire Burrito based on this experience. Poor attention to orders, lack of care for dietary requirements, and unprofessional customer service when things go wrong is simply unacceptable. There are plenty of other food vendors at Camden Market who will actually listen to your order and treat you with respect when you have a concern. If I had a severe allergy this could have been a more serious matter.
Would not return.
