Virtually unusable website. Will not let me view pictures, constantly trying to force me to download the app. I am not going to bother.

Terrible terrible terrible and very terrible service being provided by yelp UK, 3 months waiting for moderators at yelp to moderate my account, it's just pure laziness and nothing else, they surely can't be doing any work there, because everything is automated at yelp, and even the contact number on their UK site is a USA number, when did yelp become such a joke? Are the yelp UK team being paid to sleep on the job? Because that's what it looks like it is to me.

Cannot unsubscribe. Emails are a nuisance. I would recommend avoid using Yelp as you cannot shake them, off. No customer support available.

AVOID DISHONEST COMPANY. Unable to delete business page, page remains not moderated/approved by YELP however appears in search engines!. no customer service other than an international contact number - company does it best to not be accessible, whilst using your business data to make money - which you can not edit appropriately!

Registered my business, awaiting approval, my business address is my home address, YELP settings state my address is hidden, however appears in search results. my account is awaiting approval, however my business name and address is visible on search results (totally dishonest company)- and there is no email/online chat communication, only a international telephone number

Your company has no customer support when you want to close a business just stays there permintly.
When there is a double business that's made up that stays there .your site is dangours for business being attacked.

beware of the psychic company moon predictions & Elizabeth Rose, the owner sue moon allows stalkers & hackers to call her company and the Reader louise/kerrie pin 7492 not her real picture encourages this guy called Adam warren to stalk & hack his exe's social media accounts, women should be protected not targeted by people like these

Easy to use,understand and encouraging

Wrote a review of a company on Yelp.Sadly the review was for the wrong company in a totally different country.Instead of just informing me that it was for the wrong company with a similar name they sent me a long winded email stating the review was for wrong company the almost threatened that review was actually not acceptable due too their way of doing things.Quite abusive support.i have deleted my Yelp account

Do not recommend yelp I rate yelp at a very low rating.

Seems to be US based company who don't or won't edit details when requested even if you tell them that they are displaying your private phone number instead of a Post Office phone number. Judging by the reviews on Trustpilot it seems they're only interested in changing things if you pay them a subscription. Avoid using them, there are better places to advertise your business.

Avoid like plague it’s a scam 1 minute call to customer service costed 15£

Most of the reviews in Yelp are fake. If a genuine customer leaves a comment or a review, these MF's take money from the advertiser to remove the review.

Do not trust this company Yelp.

I've used Yelp in the past, many years ago, but until recently I'd forgotten it existed. Having stumbled across again it by accident I noticed that the listings in my area (in North Wales) are very out of date. Many listings are for places that closed down and in quite a few cases for places that closed down more than five years ago. I wasted a bit of my life reporting some listings as being permanently closed but three months later all those listings are still showing as being open. I also added some new listings for places that have opened recently and three months later none of these appear in any searches. It appears that whilst Yelp still exists on the net it's to all intents and purposes as dead as a dodo and unless you've got a time machine that can take you back five years into the past it's now as useful as the proverbial chocolate teapot. If you want to read or write reviews then stick to Google or TripAdvisor as Yelp is a complete waste of time and effort.

p.s. Why are there so many random and completely irrelevant reviews of other businesses posted to the page for Yelp.co.uk?

I received a review for my business that contained a lie I informed Yelp but they refused to remove it and will not look at the evidence I have. Why do you think misinformation is acceptable Yelp?

Having read the various poor reviews of Yelp it seems to me that misinformation is a common theme and they have no interest in resolving the problem.

Horrible horrible human being! Walked into this newly open jewellery shop in Hayes called Saravanas it was raining heavily my daughter and I were asking to open the door, he opens it and ask ‘what do you want’ I was surprised by the tone but I asked him to show gold hoops for my daughter. He didn’t make the price of gold when asked so he gave me a price for 1 my daughter liked.
I asked what time he’ll be closing as I’m planning to bring my mother in law with me.
He was so rude and he says if I opened the door you need to buy I was like yes but not now as I need to bring my mother in law first.
He was so rude and started shouting you need to buy.
I had to walk out of that shop
DO NOT GO THERE. Make a trip to southall instead

Utterly baffling website. I am in UK , I select yelp.co.uk, I click to Add My Business and it immediately takes me to .com site and, having entered all my details proceeds to give me options to select country; USA or Canada . No support contacts at all. How this company allegedly has 90 million advertisers is beyond me.

I wrote a review about Dam health in Newcastle on the trust pilot site as they did not tell me the 60 pound covid test would be useless when I was flying to America. They simply had to tell me it was a 24 hours testing requirement for the US not the 48 hours it used to be. Of course it would have meant no money for them as there was no way I could have took the test from them and get the result in time. They told me they could not tell me my test was useless and I was responsible for knowing this.
