Beautiful location, wonderful staff, great accommodations and incredible wildlife. We really enjoyed our behind the scenes tour of their operations center and learning how they work with the local communities to both protect animals and help the local people.

Great lodge. This was our 2nd lodge on our trip. Accommodation set in a thatched building away from any neighboring guests. King sized bed, nice clean bathroom, outdoor patio with a great view over the plains. Our guide Francis really knew his stuff, we saw lots of different animals with him. Food was plentiful and excellent. Staff were very friendly and there when we needed them. Our lodge was on a hill side and to get to the different dining rooms, pool and guide pick up etc, needed us to walk up and down some hilly pathways. Because of the high elevation it did get cold 1st thing in the morning and last thing at night. The accommodation did have a pot belly stove in it that was lit for us each night along with 2 hot water bottles in the bed. Suggest that for this lodge you definitely needed a warm hoody, gloves, scarf and warn pants. You need to dress in layers because it does warm up a lot during the day. I took walking boots and hardly wore them as we were in a vehicle most of the time. Most of the time just wore trainers. Yes I would recommend this lodge

It's luxury, and it showed. Everything and everyone was so thoughtful - the activities, the food and drink, the rooms, the service. All top-notch, and our favorite of the camps we stayed at.

Fantastic accommodation in a wildlife conservancy which delivered magnificent game experiences and so many extras - sundowners near Pride Rock, horse riding, bike riding, local cultural experiences and a peek into the amazing work the team are doing in the local community. Excellent food and drink and the service from the whole team was exceptional.

I would like to go back to Borana and stay for even longer in order to take advantage of all of the other activities that they offer! We were able to go rhino tracking, and horseback riding through a group of giraffe and zebra and hike up to Pride Rock! I could sit there and take in the amazing views for days on end, when I got back and showed people pictures they didn't believe that they were real! Thank you to Patrick, our amazing guide and all of the staff that made our time truly memorable!
