During this stressful time, Josh and YDP provided exceptional guidance and support to both my son and our family. Josh took the time to walk us through all the available opportunities and options, carefully reviewing each university and conducting a thorough SWOT analysis to help identify the best fit.

Once a university had been selected, the application process was detailed and often complex. However, Josh was always available to guide us through each step, clearly explaining what needed to be done and the relevant deadlines. YDP also provided valuable assistance with completing the application forms, which made the process much smoother.

After all the forms were submitted and the visa application was sent, we were naturally anxious about the outcome. It's worth noting that the US Embassy may sometimes retain a passport for additional administrative checks, as happened in our son's case. Although his visa was not approved on the day of the interview, the Embassy kept his passport for further processing and returned it with the visa stamped within a week.

Josh from YDPUSA was a huge support for my son and us as a family in supporting his journey from College to the USA. The knowledge and experience, and also the calmness that Josh and the team demonstrated was very reassuring and a great support in a process which was completely unknown to us. I would thoroughly recommend YDPUSA to anyone who is thinking about taking this journey which is a great experience, but without their support I am not sure how we would have coped.

From start to finish, our experience with YDP, and Josh, was excellent. Josh took the time to get to know our son – understanding many aspects including his schooling, budget and his ability on the field.

Josh’s personal approach made all the difference, and it’s the reason we chose YDP. The showcase games were well organised, at a great facility, and the filming and photography were excellent. We also really valued the warm-up game before leaving, which gave the players some much needed game time during the UK off-season and helped them head out feeling sharp and confident.

Josh and the team at YDP were fantastic in helping us navigate and understand the process of securing a place for our son at a US college to study and play football. The process started in Oct 2023 culminating in our son starting college in the US in August 2024.

Always happy to answer all the questions we had, suggest things to consider, how to prepare for interviews with coaches. We went into the process focussed on wanting a 4 year school but despite good offers we ended up opting for a 2 year school instead following advice from Josh. Best decision we made and my son has settled in amazingly well, in a great environment for both athletically and academically and is living his best life!

Josh and his team have made my son's journey to the US possible. Before this, we were sending countless emails to coaches which proved futile. YDP worked hard to fully provide my son with opportunities to be showcased. He had a choice of option to attend different universities based on our criteria.
