The shoes are nice and comfortable but ....
6 weeks after purchase the vegane leather is irreparably torn.

I wish 0 stars was an option! I ordered shoes in December, which were misplaced by FedEx. I reached out to customer support instantly, and they promised me a refund, the original package or a replacement. After replying a few times, they have COMPLETELY ghosted me. This is shocking! I cant even find a phone number to reach out to! Worst customer experience ever!

Has Yatay gone bust. 'Jimmy' the customer service help has not responded and website is not really functioning and my shoes have broken after less than 3months......was a fun but now less so...

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. First of all, the shoes look like literal pieces of plastic, which in reality is what they are, they look incredibly cheap and they are charging €270! Don't be fooled by the slick photography on their website.

Secondly, not only did they look like cheap rubbish, they did not fit me either, so I immediately set about returning them.

It has taken weeks and taken up hours and hours of my time badgering them to even get a response. At every turn they have obfuscated, made excuses, used infuriating delaying tactics by sending me links that do not work, directed me to download a return label that does not exist, etc., etc.

I believe the positive reviews on here are fake. Do not be taken in by their scam. Even look at their responses to the reviews that are poor. There is zero actual accountability.

Do not waste your time and money.

C) extra laces in the same material as the whole shoe
D) they look fantastic, chic and yet casual

We had to FIGHT yatay to honor their free returns that is blatantly advertised on the US site. Horrible experience, which is honestly so sad because both my husband and I are looking for the most sustainable options to swap all our shoes for. But after our experience there is a solid zero chance we will be purchasing from yatay in the future.

I tried to contact you to return the sneakers which do not fit me.
You never responded and I donated them.

I would not buy from this site, as if the merchandise does not work for you you have no way to return it. I reached out to them multiple times with no response.

This company is terrible. They say they have "Support 24/7" on their website but there is no way to call or chat with them, all you can do is email them. So, I emailed them and never got a response. I'm trying to return my shoes and it's nearly impossible despite their website stating, "How to make the return? Nothing simpler". The website instructs you to log in and check your order there but my order isn't even there. I found a way to request a return through the email that they sent me when I bought the shoes but, despite the website stating "Within 24h you will receive an email confirming acceptance of your request, with a copy of the summary with the details of the return," it's been 4 days and I have heard nothing from them. Do NOT buy from Yatay, they look professional online but their customer service sucks. If I can't get a refund within the next two days, I'm just going to ask my credit card to give me a refund.

Good quality shoes but if ordering from U.K. beware you’ll have to pay for return

I ordered a pair of Irori trainers, using the size guide on the website. The pair I ended up getting were lovely but something like 3 sizes too small, so I realised I must have made a mistake with the size guide. When I attempted to return the shoes to buy them again in the right size, I was told that because I lived outside the EU, I would have to arrange the return myself, and that they would not accept returns arranged via the Post Office, advising I would have to use FedEx. I was told that a lot of documentation would be needed, otherwise the package would be blocked in transit, but when I asked which documents I would need, they replied saying they did not have that information(?) After creating an account with FedEx, I ended up having to pay £48 to return the shoes. I was planning on re-buying the same pair in my correct size but I fear what will happen if I need to exchange them again or something else goes wrong. The customer service emails basically implied it wasn't their problem and they didn't care. I would only purchase from them if I lived in the EU or had access to a YATAY store, but be wary of the customer service.

Update: I have just found out I was also charged a £7 currency conversion fee when they are displaying all their prices on their UK website in GBP! I will not be repurchasing the shoes, I cannot justify being a customer of a company with such sleazy practices.

Excellent service, love my Yatay Neven low in hemp brown, great colour, size is perfect, I'm usually an Italian 36.5 so 36 is just right, lightweight, the hemp laces are cool, can't wait to purchase other colours, most important of all they are Vegan!

Incredibly comfortable. They have quickly become the sneakers I use most.

Great customer service and delivery. Trainers are expensive but are good quality and super comfy. You pay for quality and I’m happy knowing they weren’t made in a sweat shop! I get to plant a tree as well. What’s not to like. Enjoyed buying from this company. Wish there were more like them.

all is (almost) fine, because I was confused by the lack of information regarding the tracking of the parcel, and for a moment I was not sure if it was a serious business or not. But as soon as I contacted them they replied with the correct information. I like when there are human behind the screen !!!! Regarding the product : look nice, well presented and most important well made, but I will see how it turns by the time I wear it.
