As an ancient chap, not well versed in modern technology I found the website somewhat confusing.
Perhaps getting an old codger to review it might be worthwhile?

Great knowledgable staff, even greater product. I love my new mechanical pencil - holding it feels like holding a piece of history. It has immediately become a part of my every day carry and all other pencils are now obsolete. I look forward to adding a pen to my collection in time.

I have a few Yard-O-Led writing instruments, including fountain pens, a ball point and a pencil.
I recently visited the Piccadilly boutique to pick up one of their new releases. The service was excellent, as it always has been every time that I have been in there.
The product is completely and utterly fantastic!
The pens are beautiful, exquisitely hand-crafted and perform so very well.
I have Montblanc pens, who are known for their attention to detail with the finish of the nib. The Yard-O-Led pens I have are better. They flow better, don't stutter and give a consistently enjoyable writing experience, whether writing slowly and elegantly, or quickly jotting some notes at speed.

Well worth the wait! Both on the phone and in the Piccadilly Arcade shop I received excellent customer service - nothing too much trouble. Interesting to hear how staff have experience of the factory where they are made, the history and future plans for the company. So happy with my beautifully designed fountain pen and so enjoying writing again!!!

With a luxury product, comes luxury service
The Yard O Led storefront is well designed shop with a dedicated display floor with room to test their pens and pencils and an upstairs fit for hosting and small events. The service from the staff was top notch and above and beyond what I expected!
I reached out a few weeks in advance as part of a larger trip to London and was able to ensure they had the two pens I wanted to see in person with the right nib size available. I purchased a Grand in the Victorian Style and the craftsmanship is spectacular. A lifelong keepsake!

In terms of delivery time, my experience was very good. In just a week I had my pen at home. Thank you for that.
With respect to the performance of the pen itself, I don´t quite find it that good. The flow of ink is irregular and the writing experience not up to the level such an expensive and otherwise carefully crafted pen should deliver.
The pen, however is a true piece of art in its craftsmanship.
I´ll wait to see if what is most important, that is its writing performance gets better. Otherwise I´ll see whether I return it or not.
