Yanmar Refused to Honor 2000 -Hour Warranty on Nearly New Tractor
I purchased a Yanmar YT345 premium tractor that came with a 2,000-hour warranty, but Yanmar America Corporation has refused to cover a major repair even though the tractor has less than 80 hours of use.
My tractor has now been at the True Value dealership in Placerville, California for over three weeks due to a 4x4 system failure. This is the third time it’s been in the shop for different issues, and Yanmar has denied warranty coverage despite the tractor being practically new and serviced exactly as required.
I’ve reached out multiple times to Yanmar’s customer service and the dealer, asking for a loaner unit or proper warranty assistance, but have received no solution or support. The downtime has hurt my business and shows how little Yanmar stands behind its products or customers.
I strongly caution anyone considering buying a Yanmar tractor to think twice. A warranty means nothing if the company refuses to honor it.
