Yamee Ebikes: Warning!
Warning! Be very cautious before executing any transaction with YAMEE. My bike arrived with MULTIPLE defects. Two serious safety issues. Two issues in the motor that left the bike inoperable. Shipping damage to the bike's frame. The rear air shock had a bad chamber, resulting in complete air loss. Will not hold air. I reported to Yamee within 12 hours of receipt. The motor on my bike cuts out under load, and cuts out under acceleration at 15MPH. Settings are set to a class-3 bike. I sent Yamee 3 videos documenting the problems. Initial discussions with customer support indicated they would send replacement parts. I rejected this option. I am not their bike repair service. I paid for a new, fully functional bike. Their sales terms and conditions clearly indicate they will refund or replace defective units. I requested an exchange for another bike (their policy). They refused to do this. And when I pushed them to follow their own policy, they went dark and no longer respond to my emails. Completely ghosted me. Their "phone number" goes straight to voicemail. My only option now is legal action, which is unfortunate. ENTER A RELATIONSHIP WITH YAMEE WITH EXTREME CAUTION. There are many better options out there. Save yourself this frustration.
