Highly recommended night wear

Highly recommended good quality night wear, very good customer service. Visited Malta store staff was friendly & helpful. Great pyjamas.

See through bikini and bad customer service

I bought a bikini for £45 euros in mlini Yamamay. I tried it on the shop and it was all good , I then came home and went in the pool to find that it was completely see through. Therefore I went straight back to the shop and informed them of this and the ladies in the shop told me it was absolutely fine for me to exchange for another colour (as you would expect). However , they said they jsut speak to their boss first. Their boss said no straight away. So I asked to speak the boss who was completely inconsiderate. She went on to tell me that trying on a bikini and it going see through is the same issue as it being the wrong size. I tried it on in the shop so I’m not quite sure what she was getting at! She then went on to tell me that because I went in the pool with it on she cant accept it . Strange how yamamay is a swimwear brand but you can’t go in the pool with it on! She also told me that she has not had this feedback before but then when I gave her feedback she wasn’t accepting the feedback. Finally after me giving up as she was completely inconsiderate of taking £45 off someone I asked her if she had a website. She lied and told me she didn’t as she clearly knew that I would make a review indicating she knows fine well her bikini quality is appalling. Therefore, the quality’s of these bikinis are horrific and not a place I would recommend!!

I have not received any update on my order since a week, and still have not gotten my order. I have tried to contact the customer service several times and have not been successful.

Low quality products

Last year, I bought some lingerie items from Yamamay. Last June, before boarding the plane, while passing the scan machine, an awful noise could be heard because of the bra bought from Yamamay. I wore a cotton summery dress, and flip flops. The only item that bother the machine was the Yamamay bra. I told the security agents about it. Being in Trapani and not having the manual scanner, a woman security agents after asking me if she can touch me for searching me (for what?). I said no, but she grabbed my breast immediately. Nothing to hide in my bra as the dress cleavage was low. The quality of the bars put under the bra are really low. I wrote customer service Yamamay Italy, but nothing was done. They blamed the airport!
I'd like everyone to understand that my breasts was grabbed in front of other passengers as never before. I didn't buy the bra to become a suspect! Low quality and lack of respect for its clients.

Bad quality

I recently bought some pajamas for Christmas. Mine is red longsleeve and red bottoms with white bows. Top had some funny smell, so I didn’t wear it and wash it first, but I’ve put on pants. In the morning my white bed sheet was colored red from them!! That’s the first time I see that cloths would color other things just by being nearby.
It’s unlikely I’ll be buying anything from this company ever again:/

Excellent

I was a bit frustrated after seeing the reviews (as usual, I only decided to check them after purchasing, lol).
The delivery was quite fast (6 days between ordering and getting the products).
The bikinis and kaftans look gorgeous and fit me very well. They are made of excellent fabric. Certainly not cheap, but the price matches the great quality.
I regret not having purchased some other items I wanted, but now I know the company, I will definitely order more.

DON'T BUY FROM YAMAMAY SHOPS AT THE AIRPORT

I bought a yamamy product at the airport, trying to change size as soon as I tried it on and realised it was too big. i contacted the day after the costumer service - they got back to me 10 days later... (their return policy says you can return something by 14 days from purchase) - i've been told I was potentially able to return it just in store, so no online (there are not yamayay shops where im based = so for me there's no way to return it basically...) and, on top of that, they said that yamamay doesn't guarantee to switch a product.. why?!!! we are talking about a brand new top and shorts with label on and still folded in the bag.. Yamayay costumer service is a joke and disgrace for a pretty decent brand. I really hope they'll work on that! AND DON'T BUY FROM YAMAMAY SHOPS AT THE AIRPORT in case you might need to change product!!!! because you wont be able to do that! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Horrible service, talkiem greek in front of me. Tracking my boyfriend in buying the wrong size And not willing to retourn it.

such a shame that the product is so…

such a shame that the product is so good, but the customer service is such a crap. I will never buy online from them, ruined good impression of the company in my eyes.
takes 3 days to answer, always different person, no information provided in responses.. took me a month to get money refunded back to me even thought I asked to cancel the first day after the order. Only got proper responses when I started bombarding them with questions on Facebook. Sad.

What a disaster service I think the products are really good, but the service is really non-existent and very bad. I have sent the goods back and now I don't get my money back. The only note I have received was from Oct 10th from Annalisa F. (Yamamay), saying she will check since than no feedback or any other massage. Yamamay service team please get back to me. So far my experience with your service is very negativ however you still have the oppty. to change it to a positive experience with your brand. Thanks

Such a Disgrace!!!!
It’s a pity to loose customers like that.
My online order never arrived at my home address.
When I’ve contacted yamamay
I’ve been told that, when they receive the parcel they will refund me the money.
Guess what?? Annalisa F the customer service lady dropped me an email saying that they did refund me the money.
She was trying to get rid of me by saying to speak to my bank.
My bank has nothing to do with your unbelievable service. I have no other way now but to speak to the authorities for non getting my money back for a parcel that I’ve never received.

Unreliable webshop

Customer service of the webshop is useless. I ordered some items and paid for them with a mastercard. I received an order confirmation saying that I will receive an email when the items are shipped. I waited for a week without hearing anything, then I contacted the customer service. Turned out they had cancelled the order, because their system didn't consider the transaction secure?? I was not notified of this, and also, the customer service made no efforts to correct the mistake. Ordering from Yamamay is a gamble, I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Silk shorts ripped apart after 3 nights only

I have ordered a silk night shorts and top. I was delighted but wore 3 nights the shorts and they totally broke apart. I made a complaint and just received an automatic customer service reply with their return policy! I couldn’t even waste my energy after I wasted my money! So angry at all these apparently decent shops that sell us lowest quality products produced for few cents in Asia!

They are total scammers

They are total scammers.

I have ordered 3 briefs under a "3-for-2" offer (so, a 33% discount), then the store decided not to send one of the 3 (btw the most expensive one) and when I asked them for a refund and send the item, they said that it was free - something that it is outrageous! So, in the end, I paid more for the rest of the 2 items in comparison to buying them alone (because they took out the most expensive one).

When you get an offer, you get an offer. They didn't add the product on top of everything else I bought, it was one of the 3 that I have selected. I just want a refund or the item I order, is that the fair thing to do?

Worst experience ever have had online.

Non-existent customer support

I thought that such a big brand, would have a proper online shopping experience, however, one more time I was ended up disappointed. Everything until checkout was great, they even have integrated Amazon Pay, which I used to checkout. Yet, after completing the payment various problems started emerging. Firstly, confirmation emails -even after I had marked them as safe- continued end up into the junk folder of hotmail, which means that many people marked them as spam in the past. Secondly, the order arrived (in less than 2 days, which was indeed impressive) with one item missing. Thirdly, after trying to contact their customer support via a form on the website (which is the only way that you can contact them) and on Facebook, I only got a reply a day later, saying that they will reply to me “as soon as possible”. It’s the second day since then and I have received to further response. I’m now waiting the 14-days period to end, so that I can submit an Amazon A-to-Z claim. To sum it up, if you shop from this site, be aware that if something goes wrong there is no customer support that will respond to you in a reasonable time bracket.
