🚨 YALE UNIVERSITY

🚨 YALE UNIVERSITY: INVESTIGATION INTO SYSTEMIC FINANCIAL PREDATION 🚨
We are issuing a formal public notice regarding the Aspecta (ASP) project. While leveraging Yale University’s prestigious name for credibility, this project orchestrated a coordinated 95.2% market collapse. This is a documented failure of platform neutrality involving global giants Binance and OKX.
The Roles in the Misconduct:
* 📍 OKX (Execution): Utilized deceptive "Call Auction" mechanisms to artificially inflate the ASP opening price, creating a predatory trap for retail buyers.
* 📍 Binance / YZI Labs (Conflict of Interest): Acted simultaneously as a primary venture investor and the market promoter. This undisclosed conflict of interest allowed internal insiders to use retail capital as exit liquidity.
* 📍 Yale University (The Credibility): Provided the academic "veneer" that misled families into trusting the project’s legitimacy.
The Human Toll:
This is not just about trading losses; it is about numerous families who have lost life-critical savings intended for urgent medical treatments, children’s education, and emergency needs.
Legal Status:
Formal whistleblower reports are being filed with the SEC (USA), SFC (Hong Kong), and MAS (Singapore). We urge Yale University to conduct an immediate ethics review of its incubated projects.
⚖️ JOIN THE CLASS ACTION:
If your family's emergency funds were wiped out by the ASP listing on Binance or OKX, DM me now. We are consolidating evidence to hold these institutions accountable! ✊🛡️

Yale is not very good brand anymore

Might be big name but sadly the name is all left
Or should I say the name became the hook that they have to hook up clients but products and aftersales services are 0
Take their connected locks Linus 1 &2 .. first one I bought broke after one year , contacted Yale and they played many excuses to avoid responsibility or replacement… I bought Linus 2 their most advanced connected lock with clavier( keyboard matter support , etc ) bad connection and broke after 3 months !
Contacted Yale but this time they said they can interfere for guidance and technical support not replacement or repair… the product is still under guarantee but they rely on customers not bothering for 200€ but I will go to European consumer rights organization… I had enough

Useless and slow support

I contacted them during their stated service hours via WhatsApp, and it took 4 to 5 hours just to get a useless reply, and furthermore, it takes 10 to 20 minutes per response. No help, no solution, no explanation — just a lazy push to buy their latest model as a “replacement,” even though mine is barely TWO YEARS OLD.

I asked for an on-site service check because it’s clearly still under warranty, yet the clueless support staff kept insisting it wasn’t, despite their own policy saying two years. I literally had to explain their own warranty terms to them, and only after I spelt it out did they suddenly “realise” I was right. Are you kidding me?

Then I requested to speak to someone who actually knows what they’re doing, and was told it’ll take TWO WEEKS just to get an update. What kind of joke operation are you running? This is beyond incompetent, it’s downright disgraceful.

Useless, untrained, slow, and completely uninterested in helping customers. I’ve had enough. Fix this or I’ll make sure everyone knows just how worthless your so-called “support” really is.

Has to be the worst product management…

Has to be the worst product management / QA and service set-up in history of man kind. Nothing works. The QR-code you are instructed to scan does not work. It is not possible to register an account in the app as the buttons are outside the screen on a iPhone 15 with standard font size. Nobody answers on the phone number provided and the waiting time is ”minutes” (forgot a number there…). My god. I would love to run that company. So many easy things to fix.

YALE are not the name or brand they once was. Avoid at all costs.

Bought a triple pack of weatherproof padlocks (£30+) and after just 8 months and only having used one lock on a shed it had seized. The weather cap made no difference and it took over 1.5 hours with lots of oil and force to get the key into the lock to open it and pliers to get the key out of the lock. Wrote to Yale and phoned them as I no longer had the receipt and they said the only thing they could do was send me a 20% off voucher. like I'd spend money with them again with this kind of attitude. Only now seeing a 1.6 star average review do I realise that Yale is not the name or the brand it once was.

Yale needs to sell the door and the frame with the lock

The Yale door man operates on too sensitive a tolerance between the door and the frame. The tolerance is so tight that opening my window in my house caused the alarm of the door to go off. Based on this alone, even if you get the tolerance right on first installation (hundreds of a centimeter), you will have issues in a couple years, wear on the steel or for temperature swings (summer and winter), when the door will alarm by simply touching the handle. If you wish to test that your door is in fact closed, by checking the handle - it will alarm. Very painful to disable from outside the door once triggered. Even the technician who installed it said he has to come back 3 and 4 times to a house to get the tolerance right and has to return to calibrate in summer. Do not buy this product until Yale fixes the need for this extreme tolerance requirement.

Yale broke my panel

I have an alarm system fitted with a panel. Due to an error message I rang Yale and asked for their assistance. I was told to get the panel off of the wall by hitting it on the left side. When I did this after prompting the panel then broke off of the wall. I was told a replacement would be sent out. The next morning there was no email that had been stated there would be so I emailed Yale. Again I was told this would be escalated and a couple of weeks later I was offered a 20% discount off a new part. I explained I wouldn’t be paying anything at my own cost due to their instruction to hit the side of the panel therefore breaking it. It has been hanging off my wall now for weeks and Yale won’t replace

Buy a different brand or wired.

Got a wireless house alarm, batteries in bell box only last 3months and I use duracell, can't get through to them to ask what's going on .
I would advise getting an alarm from different company.
Not fit for purpose and terrible service too.
UPDATE.
Tried to contact customer service by phone but no answer, so filled out contact form as requested and no response, I know the alarm is 6 years old and out of guarantee , but just wanted to know if I could buy a new part or repair in any way, this is not the way to treat customers.
Last wired alarm was at least 20 years old and going strong when we moved house.

Conexis L2 Smart lock jams and not working with Keycards and tags

I bought a Yale Conexis smart lock and regretted once fitted.

It constantly jams and hence can’t get in the door. Also I bought separate Yale smart tags and cards to allow relatives to use, these don’t work with the lock even though sold as such.

The support is pretty useless considering the purpose of the lock as main house entry device.

My advise would be to not buy this as not reliable and definitely doesn’t work as described by Yale

Run for your life away from Yale…

Run for your life away from Yale doorman!!!! There is no standard way to reset and each lock has a different method. They do not make it easy at all to just get a simple video instruction on the model and you will have to guess what model you have or try to read the insane small print on the inside cover that overlaps with the logo!! There is no help and the bot is useless. Basically customer service is at the very low end of horrible or not existing. I spend an entire day searching, calling and chatting to just reset my stupid lock. RUN!

Unfortunately unhelpful and waste of money for a senior

Didn’t come to service a facility alarm. I needed a Yale engineer as I had asked two local engineers to repair and both asked me to get back to Yale as still in warranty.
Feel vulnerable as Yale wouldn’t attend. Waste of money.
Communication was through email and troubleshooting links, made no sense to me.

If i could give 0 stars

Have just moved into a house with a yale electronic lock, however this morning it failed and i cannot open the door even with the key. Rang for support just to try to unlock the door. Surly woman was of no use whatsoever, just kept saying if you have insurance contact them. Quite the worst customer support. Will never buy from these jokers again.

Despite returning the unopened Conexis…

Despite returning the unopened Conexis L2 box, Yale is unwilling to issue a refund. Initial setup issues led to delayed support, prompting me to purchase an alternative from Amazon. Upon its arrival, I resolved the problem by replacing the drained lock batteries. However, upon returning the new lock, I encountered poor customer service and management. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Yale door locks based on this experience. Improved customer support and a more flexible return policy would enhance the overall satisfaction of customers. M Bond from customer service gets a 0 star for not following Yale return policy, holding the new returned item and being so adamant.

I bought a Yale Assure Lock 2 (Smart…

I bought a Yale Assure Lock 2 (Smart Lock) from the USA. Yale sell these through Amazon.co.uk to the UK. After chopping up my door and installing the lock, it turns out that the lock is unusable without the app. Unfortunately, the app is awful and they have multiple versions for different markets. The UK version of the app (Yale Home) has the lock listed to add to your home as expected but attempting to add it causes a server error message to pop up (not very useful).

After many hours of trying different ways of adding this lock to their UK app it turned out that the Assure Lock 2 actually isn't supported in the UK (even though they will quite happily take your money for it) along with (as mentioned) listing in the UK app to add.

Yale UK support pointed me to Yale USA for help so I contacted Yale USA who told me they can't support me and to talk to Yale UK. All the while my door lock is useless and my home security vulnerable, as you can't do anything with it until it's added in to their app...

Eventually I figured out that the USA app would probably work (Yale Access) and set about attempting to use that. Yale have decided that even though it's exactly the same app as Yale Home that they would restrict anyone outside of the USA to be allowed to use it.

So, many further hours lost but I managed to download an apk of Yale Access to finally be able to install it. Hopefully this apk doesn't have any malware in it to infect my phone, so much for security.

The lock is now up and running and I will have to manually update their app instead of using the Google Play store due to Yale choosing to restrict downloading it on Google Play.

Absolutely awful company and customer support, please avoid supporting this company, it's clear they're stuck in the old times and have no idea how to provide a modern product to their customers.
