Thinking of purchasing an Xtool laser machine but live outside of the USA. Don’t.

Purchased their F1 about a year and a half ago. Barely used at all. Suddenly its laser scanner stopped working. And guess what? After writing in to them they said it’s a useless machine which cant be repaired. So i have to buy a new one. Not only that. Was contemplating buying a new machine and to add on their extra warranty protection. Guess what? Machines out of the USA don’t get that privilege. So if you are outside of the USA don’t buy their product.

Do Not Buy xTool Laser Engravers

In May 2024 I purchase an D1 Pro 2.0 laser engraver from xTool. Initially, the engraver worked well. However, after about 30 days, I have been having nothing but problems with the device and support from xTool. When I made the purchase, I also included the warranty. Their support comes directly from China. There is no one local to contact for support. I used the laser for about 600 hours and it stopped working. On their website, they claim the laser will last 9,000 – 15,000 hours. The other thing they fail to tell you on the website is that the power of the laser decreases as you use it. I sent in a ticket for support. It took 4 days to get an answer from them. They were very hesitant to provide the replacement parts for the laser. I had to send multiple pictures and had to continue answering questions. After about 10 days of going back and forth, they finally agreed to provide the replacement parts. It took them a couple of weeks to send the replacement parts. what I now know I would never buy anything from x tool. I recently went on their website to purchase two replacement lenses for the laser head. Instead, I received watch bands, and they refuse to send the correct items. Do not buy from xTool. They are quick to take your money and very poor at providing support. They are impossible to deal with.

Purchased a Makeblock xtool Rotary…

Purchased a Makeblock xtool Rotary laser cutting machine. It came broken and it took me a month and a half to before I received a new one. This new one can a month and a half ago and it is telling me there is something wrong with the machine. It does not work. I have been trying to get into contact with customer support which has been a difficult process. It has been a week since the machine stopped working and I still have not been able to have someone troubleshoot the issue. Honestly, I am very disappointed with this machine.

Ordered xTool 1064nm Infrared Laser…

Ordered xTool 1064nm Infrared Laser Module - Infrared laser module for plastic and all-metal engraving - For D1 Pro (Metal Grey) over a month ago and they charged my card immediately. Still no product. They sent me tracking number and that shows my item was delivered to Alberta Canada. I am in the United States. No I cannot get hold of anyone at XTOOL. The worst customer service. I guess now I need to hope my credit card company will reverse the charges. NEVER PURCHASE FROM XTOOL.. You will be sorry.

I had ordered several tools from them…

I had ordered several tools from them at one time at a very discounted price. I was back in September does now November almost Thanksgiving have not heard anything from them. I got one response in the email to say please be patient I'm waiting for your tools. I'm going to request a refund from my bank ordered via debit card. I will give them a negative start if I could.

MyHermes failed to deliver

Having waited until 3pm, I phoned Xtools. I was advised that the package has been despatched on Wednesday - although no despatch e-mail to me. I was given a tracking number. MyHermes web-site reported it as returned to the depot for re-delivery attempt.
Given that I can see the road to my house and was in all day, I can guarantee that myHermes came nowhere near my house. I spoke to them, and asked why they had not called me - they said they had no number.
I provided very specific details to xtools regarding delivery, and my phone number. If they do not pass these on to the courier, there seems little point in filling that part of the form in. So regrettably, I will not use Xtools again so long as they use this courier, just as I will not use anyone who uses Yodel.
In Summary - STILL waiting - not entirely Xtools fault but they certainly did not help the situation. If they are not delivered tomorrow, I will be seeking a refund.

Not bad, could be a bit quicker to deliver.

I was after specific clamps that are no longer available at Axminster power tool centre, so went searching online which led me to xTools.co.uk. I'd never heard of them and in all honesty the website looks pretty amateur so I was a bit skeptical. I decided to place a low value order of just one clamp and see if it turned up.

Well it was a bit slow, but did turn up in about 4 working days and unlike other reviewers I did get an order confirmation emailed to me. I also sent them an email to ask when to expect delivery and they replied promptly, and the item arrived the following morning.

The brand is Silverline which are known to be a cheap brand so I wasn't expect the highest quality, but to be fair the quality was no less than the axminster equivalent - it might even be made in the same factory!?

I will be ordering more of these clamps now that I know they will turn up, and at the best price on the net.

Low price and average service

Given the previous mixed reviews I decided to place a low value order and see how it went before doing anything bigger. The processing of the order went without any problems but then the communication ended, whilst experiencing a longer than expected wait for delivery - 1 week. I wasn't in urgent need so don’t have real cause for complaint, but this is still a little disappointing. With so many companies out there offering great value and next day delivery, or certainly within a day or two, this experience doesn’t cause me to put Xtools to the top of my list.

worked ok for me

I saw the previous review by Roman just after I'd ordered and I was a bit apprehensive, but my experience was the goods arrived within a few days and were what they were supposed to be, so no complaints. Cost of p&p low, £3-odd for a few kg.

Very negative experience. Avoid at any cost!

They will charge your card immediately but won’t send any order confirmation or invoice. They will not answer your emails. They will promise anything on the phone but never deliver, and will stall you as long as possible. When you tell them they are going to be reported to the credit card company, they suddenly come to life, seem to became concerned, make silly excuses about your email address being wrong, or will tell you how incompetent was the person at their end dealing with your order.

In a word – complete, utter disaster, if not an outright scam. I am really surprised how they managed 7.3 points!

Great prices and good delivery times

Bought a Kreg jig and 1000 screws. Prices were £20 less than anywhere else including Amazon and Ebay. Ordered on Monday, delivered on Thursday.
Website could be easier to search and it would be reassuring to have an acknowledgement email when you have ordered and paid.

Top notch at great prices

I was scouring the internet for a woodworking router table for my modest garage workshop, I'd tried all the usual main sites that tend to top the listings when searching when I decided to scroll through a few pages and came across Xtools.co.uk.

Their prices are incredibly low, particularly on some the higher spec items, I was a little skepical and was reluctant to make an order, I trawled the net again for reviews on the site and found nothing. I called them to make sure it was a British based company and that items would be despatched from the UK, all seemed kosher.

I made an order which arrived within three days, there was one item missing so I called customer services and was dealt with quickly and politely and the problem was resolved with no hassle.

If you pick any item thats on the website and find it cheaper elswhere I'd be very very surprised, there may be the odd item that is on sale eleswhere cheaper, but I couldnt find any and believe me I checked lots.

The only minor criticism is that their webiste could be more user friendly and they should have a banner explaining that the site doesnt work smoothly if you're running Google Chrome but other than that they excellent.
