I found this company through an ad, and had an initial free chat with Sean, who was great on the call. He does a solid job getting your information and confirmed that the person he would connect me with would be able to help guide me in my particular situation. I was very clear that I needed guidance on the extending my residency in Spain, advice on my legal status here, and how to setup my tax situation based on the various variables.
I booked in originally with their Lawyer Luis, who cancelled on me twice with no prior notice or heads up right before each of the calls.
When I reached out to Sean to request a refund, he provided another individual to speak with - Jose.
Within a few minutes of our call, and me filling him in, Jose let me know that he can't help me with the majority of what we talked about with Sean, and in terms of what I needed.
He simply explained to me basic tax information that I already knew about Spain, nothing unique or helpful towards my particular situation/nationality/residency/ etc.
I reached out to Sean multiple times to request a refund, and after a number of days, they responded that they have delivered on their service, so no refund will be processed.

Your residency and extension as discussed during the initial call had been taken into account when it came to devising a clear roadmap for your taxation issues. However, the request to seek legal advice on the residency and extension itself came after the diagnosis call and as we are a network of tax advisors, this is clearly beyond our scope at SpainSolved, nor do we advertise beyond tax. This would be different with XSolved where the International Tax Tailor specialists take a much more hands-on approach to immigration and taking care of the heavy-lifting. But of course this is a very different service and price point that we now offer.
Your matched advisor had therefore delivered a clear legal roadmap to dealing with your taxation situation which was part of the larger problem you were facing. Jose had even given you a next step and contact to tackle the immigration part of your issues.
Therefore we have delivered on our service and there is no basis for a refund if it is based on unrealistic expectations that didn't "like" the clear & legal solution to your tax situation.
And finally, our refund policy is very clear now that refunds are possible till the end of our diagnosis call before committing to being matched with an advisor.
