WARNING
WARNING: AVOID XIAOMI
I had a nightmare experience with Xiaomi. They sent two unwanted items as a "gift" and when I returned the phone and these items, they claimed they received the wrong item back. They're now saying one item is missing, which I'm sure they misplaced. Their customer service is unhelpful and unresponsive, sending generic emails for over 6 months. I'm stuck with a phone I don't want.
Stay away from this company.
i have bought a xiaomi pad 7
i have bought a xiaomi pad 7 - wonderful machine - but no one on this planet ... least of all xiaomi themselves - can tell you where to get the most critical (for me at least) accessory - the focus stylus. word has it that it works - but the only thing you find are fake copies on amazon or aliexpress or stupid answers from xiaomi
Bad service and overall experience!
Bad user experience. There are so many bugs and the customer service are so bad!
Completely untrustworthy
Completely untrustworthy. I ordered a smartphone to realize it was unlocked, a Chinese version with a hacked European version. Many apps, like netflix my bank app and many more didn't work, being the phone rooted. I don't trust xiaomi.
Untold truth about xiaomi
The phones are below average! Camera is decent but not the processor. Heating is a major issue. Due to the low end processor gaming might involve disruptions and lags. Phone speakers are ok but mic may cause problems. The company really needs to improve in these aspects to get more support and definitely a good rating.
The mobile phones are good in…

Pathetic Service – Beware Before Buying from Noon or Xiaomi
I purchased a Redmi 13C from Noon UAE last month, and within a few days, the phone started showing serious issues — it restarts automatically and displays a notification saying “This device belongs to your organization” and “This device isn’t private.” This is completely unacceptable for a brand-new phone that I barely used for a week.
I raised the issue with Noon support, but after more than 20 days of follow-ups, I received no proper help. Eventually, I was told to visit the Xiaomi Exclusive Service Center at Dubai Mall (Chinatown, TDM-311). There, I was informed that:
The phone is not covered under warranty in the UAE
It is registered to the Argentina region
They refused to provide any service or support
This means a product sold on a UAE platform is not eligible for UAE warranty or service — and neither Noon nor Xiaomi is taking responsibility. The service is pathetic, and the lack of accountability from both brands is frustrating.
Beware before purchasing from Noon or Xiaomi — they are not trustworthy, and if something goes wrong, you're on your own. I strongly recommend going with trusted brands like Samsung or Apple, where at least you get genuine support and warranty coverage.
I completely disagree with the service and product quality from both Noon and Xiaomi in this experience.
Zero support for internationally purchased products
Consistent with other feedback - products are high quality, you need to sort out global support. Australians love your products yet your local support team doesn't care about servicing. What is your service strategy and will this be addressed in the next 6 months?
Be VERY Wary of Buying Xiaomi Products…
Be VERY Wary of Buying Xiaomi Products – Appalling Customer Service & Shocking Repair Experience
TL;DR:
Product broke after two months. Customer service was utterly useless, took forever to arrange a repair, then sent my vacuum back in a disgusting and damaged state. Now fighting for a replacement. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Xiaomi.
I wanted to share my dreadful experience with Xiaomi, as a warning to anyone considering buying from them. Honestly, I loved my Xiaomi X20+ Max smart vacuum mop when it actually worked – for the first two months, it was brilliant. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
After just two months, my vacuum mop broke down completely. That was the start of a truly miserable saga. Trying to get any form of help from Xiaomi customer services was an absolute nightmare. I was stuck in a seemingly endless loop of automated responses, generic copy-and-paste emails, and being passed from one agent to another – nobody seemed to have a clue or actually wanted to help. It took me ages just to organise a return.
When I finally did get through, I was told that because my device was over 30 days old, I wasn’t eligible for a replacement, only a repair – despite the fault happening so early on. Reluctantly, I sent it back for repair. I went out of my way to send it with all the original packaging, in almost brand new condition.
It then took them over a month to repair the vacuum, blaming “delays with parts.” All this time, I was left without the product I’d paid good money for, and with no real communication or updates unless I chased them up myself.
But the real kicker came when the vacuum was finally returned to me. What I got back was absolutely appalling. The device was covered in old cereal, scratched all over, and had clearly been completely mistreated while it was in their care. It was in a far worse state than when I sent it in. To say I’m disappointed is a massive understatement – I’m furious. I take pride in looking after my things, and what I sent to Xiaomi was in almost perfect condition.
Now, instead of sorting the situation, Xiaomi have left me to battle their customer service again, trying to get a replacement or even just a proper explanation. More delays, more pointless back and forth, and still no resolution. Their so-called “support” has been shockingly poor at every stage.
I’m now at the point where I feel forced to escalate this to Trading Standards. Frankly, I wish I’d never bothered with Xiaomi – if I could go back, I’d avoid them completely.
Extremely bad experiece with the Polish…
Extremely bad experiece with the Polish support. My X20 Max vaccum cleaner side brush stopped working after 4 months from purcharse and it's extremely difficult to get this returned for replacement or to get the money back. They insist I put it on guarantee and don't follow EU regulations. I would need to get the support from EU instituations to sort the case. Would never buy anythging again..
Avoid Xiaomi – Refused Refund for Returned Items, Breached UK Law
I’m extremely disappointed with Xiaomi’s customer service and handling of returns. I returned three items using the exact method they instructed — they provided jiffy bags with pre-attached return labels. Two items were collected by Royal Mail, and one was dropped off, as allowed by their own return policy.
Despite providing full proof of postage, responding to every question they asked over the course of more than 50 days, and doing everything correctly, I have not received my refund.
This isn’t just poor customer service — it’s a clear breach of UK consumer law, which states that refunds must be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods. Xiaomi continues to delay and avoid responsibility, even though I followed their instructions exactly. been waiting for 50 Days and no refunds, no follow-ups, and they keep sending the same email again and again and agent after agent.
I’ve had to raise the issue with PayPal, Trading Standards, and will be pursuing legal action via Small Claims Court and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
The stress, wasted time, and loss of money has been unacceptable. Xiaomi is failing to treat UK customers fairly — if you care about your consumer rights, avoid this company at all costs.

After purchase service does not exist
I initially loved their products until I realised customer support in Australia is shithouse.
The Xiaomi vacuum became faulty after less than 6 months use. The customer support in Australia is literally one person. His stance is always to avoid responsibility. He claimed to have repaired the product, and it was faulty as soon as it’s returned to me. Now the so called customer service is not replying my messages on any forums. Dodgey business shame on you!!!
I love the Xiaomi products
I love the Xiaomi products. They also have their own OS, so I don't have Google tracking my every move.
The CCP may do, but they do when you use Discord, Tik-tock, What's app and about a million other websites, social media platforms.
The difference is that they are happy to not plague me with attempts to extract my money from me, like Google, Facebook and Amazon (thanks Amazon for posting my debit card details on the public clearweb🙄).
For the price its one of the best…
For the price its one of the best phones out there.
I’m really disappointed with my Xiaomi…
I’m really disappointed with my Xiaomi Active. The device consistently fails to measure my distance accurately while running, which makes it pretty useless for tracking my workouts. If it can’t even do something as basic as that, it really loses its purpose. Definitely not what I expected from this brand
the very god
Terrible company
Terrible company. Products don’t work well and when you want to fix them they don’t help you at all. It’s better to spend a little more to get better quality and better customer service. I will not be purchasing anything from this company again.
