I had a very positive experience with Xcotton. They were prompt in dealing with my issue, mich appreciated.
Paid for insurance, item was never received and returned to sender, yet they refuse to refund me!
I paid nearly €200 for shipping protection and this has been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had.
My parcel was marked as “delivered” with a false proof of delivery while I was not even in the country. I provided travel evidence, card activity, and explained repeatedly that nobody accepted the parcel on my behalf. Despite this, I was asked to “prove” the impossible by providing police reports or CCTV footage.
Even worse, the company initially confirmed a refund, only to later backtrack and push for a replacement after more than a month of delays. By that point, I had already purchased a replacement myself because apparently they expected me to sit without a lamp indefinitely.
The entire process has been exhausting, inconsistent, and completely contrary to what you would expect after paying extra for “protection.” Instead of support, I received endless delays, contradictory statements, and shifting positions.
Very disappointing experience and certainly not the level of service their reviews portray. I KEEP YOU POSTED ON HOW THEY ULTIMATELY RESOLVE THIS.
