A good app
I still think some things inside the app could be simplified, especially for new users, but overall the core functionality works reliably and that’s what matters most to me.

I am a platinum member that uses the card of a daily basis. I ditched my AMEX and local bank card and switched to xPlace. The cashback is amazing, support is great and the card works everywhere. Just travelled last week and used it in Egypt with no issues. I used it as well to get lounge access and fastrack services. Totally worth it and for someone who spends a lot on card, the cashback alone will pay back the entire $999 yearly fee and more. Only thing missing is SWIFT transfers but I am sure they will support it soon.
I needed to make a larger purchase but didn’t want to sell my crypto at the current price. Tried the credit feature for the first time and it worked exactly as expected. The setup took me a bit to understand, but after that the whole process was surprisingly straightforward.
My favorite thing so far is that I don’t need to move funds between multiple services anymore. Having spending, transfers and portfolio management in one place is just more convenient.
XPlace is one of those generational products that makes genuine change to your life
Living in the UK Ive always been stung with capital gains tax off-ramping my crypto to fund my lifestyle
I now borrow against my crypto through Xplace getting an instant credit line to spend on my card, earning more yield than I pay interest
Not only has it allowed me speed the rate I can accumulate wealth on chain but Im also paying a hell of a lot less tax
Spoke to my accountant about this product before using and he said I should definitely try it and I havent looked back since
great product, would recommend
Credit mode has been a game changer for me. Allowing me to borrow assets and utilize my funds without tax implications has been a fantastic way to use my crypto.
Good concept but not everything is obvious. For example I didn’t understand why my available balance changed until I realized it depends on the asset. Maybe just me, but could be explained better.
One of the best new crypto-related banks; I like their credit feature, which lets you spend money without having to sell your crypto. You can tell the team are putting in the effort and making their app better and better
Didn’t expect much, but the service turned out to be quite solid. The main idea works as intended. I deposited some crypto, got USD credit, and was able to start paying with the card right away without selling anything. That’s the main advantage for me since I don’t want to exit my positions.
Payments go through fine, everything works fast and without any issues. From that perspective, no complaints, it does what it’s supposed to do.
At the same time, not everything is clear right away. It took some time to understand how limits are calculated, how much is actually available to use and what it depends on. I also haven’t fully figured out the rates and yields yet, that part isn’t very transparent.
Overall it feels similar to other services on the market, but done quite neatly. It’s already usable on a regular basis, although there are still things that could be simplified.
There’s also a welcome bonus of around $5, but it feels quite weak and doesn’t really add much. Might make sense to remove it or replace it with something more meaningful.
Overall, for a new product it’s a good start. If they make rates clearer and simplify the interface a bit, it could become a really strong solution.
