Big thumbs up for Holly!
Holly is a brilliant teacher and Matilda is absolutely loving her sessions. She comes home each week so full of enthusiastic stories about what they've got up to in the session and always looks forward to it each week.

Great Singing Lessons
My daughter loves her singing lessons. They sing a big variety of songs and styles of music which I really like. It sounds like they have a lot of fun but also learn skills. My daughter is always doing the warm ups and singing at home. It's really ignited a passion and I love the inclusive attitude from Zylo and the staff.

An excellent experience
My daughter is super excited for her singing lesson each week and rarely stops singing the songs she’s learning at home. The whole set up experience was so smooth and efficient too and overall communication has been brilliant.

Drama
I feel that although the drama teacher is lovely and does a fabulous job enabling the students to be creative and have fun, the end of term performances seem a little chaotic. The children clearly enjoy their drama lessons which is wonderful , but it feels that if the lessons helped the children project their voices a little more and speak louder it would actually produce a better performance that the audience could hear and enjoy more.

Firstly, we're delighted that you feel the children enjoy themselves and that you find their tutor to be lovely. We agree!
One of the challenges we face in the space we occupy is the variety of personalities, confidence levels and ages of children who attend our drama clubs. Our 'drama is for anyone' ethos is something we truly believe in and we're proud that we've brought drama to many children over many years who may not have sought it otherwise. The inherent side effect however is that some classes are naturally inclined to perform and others require more encouragement. For some of the children attending Zylo, merely standing in front of an audience is a big achievement and when this is the case, it can be harder to motivate the entire class.
That said, we recognise that it is our mission and duty to help children push past their boundaries and insecurities around performance. With that in mind you may be pleased to hear that we're implementing a new model for next term's performances which we feel will more consistently support shyer children to push through their boundaries.
We've also added additional detail to our training and tutor playbook surrounding the importance of frequently promoting vocal projection alongside the current models we use.
Thank you again for your feedback. Building confidence in children is and always has been our number one priority and we're grateful for any comments that push us further towards that goal :)

Both boys are really enjoying the…
Both boys are really enjoying the lessons and the instructor so I feel bad complaining, however. I have two boys doing the drumming lessons. (A year apart in age) while my oldest son does his lessons with children of equal abilities, my younger son has had his group changed and now isn’t moving forward as much as his brother. This is causing a bit of upset and he feels like he’s been downgraded. We have spoken to the instructor who is lovely and is trying to get the problem fixed so hopefully problem resolved soon. Apart from that it’s all great.

We're confident that your younger son will feel adequately challenged this term and, following an assessment of the class in January, some shifts are to be made to help further. We have a follow up meeting booked with James to check in on this.
We're delighted to hear that they are enjoying the sessions in general though, and it's promising that both are keen to be challenged and grow their skills further. That we can work with!
Encouraging environment
They loved learning & performing this term. My son is typically shy on stage & was much more confident this time. The teaching seems to be encouraging & fun.

wonerful drama group
The teacher is fantastic, my kid has an amazing experience every time. They organised a performance in a short time and kids seemed to be enjoying it. Engaging lessons and cooperation skills among peers is taught.
