I signed up on Zoosk 4 days ago and paid via Paypal a 3 month subscription. A person I was communicating with via texted (as we exchanged mobiles) sent me a screenshot of an email from Zoosk warning him of "my profile name and age" has been blocked from Zoosk due to fraudulent activities. Thinking this was a scam, my account was actually blocked and my subscription refunded!!! I have emailed Zoosk but no response.

Not easy to browse reg new members, wishing to delete (not interested) , they continue to appear in views or other areas!!?

And likes? Boost subscription is not significant I believe in Hide and seek effort or moving more views/interests. As an older person I believe if someone is genuine and interested they dont need boost or hiding etc..(.but your rates are fine and fair), just go forward wasting time and effort. Just my thoughts! But i will say, its truly affordable and worth becoming a member. Thank you. Most of the males had My Story and it made a difference in decision making! So you need to fill this in your profile.

I subscribed to Zoosk without realising how rigid the photo requirements are. I appreciate the importance of accurate and up-to-date images but there's an assumption that everyone has access to a mobile camera. I don't. Trying to work out other ways of uploading images was very time consuming. Zoosk's customer 'support' eventually brought me to Ask-Crew. I had to pay a subscription which was declined. I tried again - same result. Then my building society called me about questionable transactions on my account. Although this wasn't fraud, it was suspicious enough for my debit card to be stopped with the usual inconvenience that entails.
Apart from that, meeting people on Zoosk is very slow.
Whatever your personal aims are, please think twice before spending money on subscribing to this site.

Terrible experience and waste of time/money. The app is difficult to navigate and there is zero activity on there. Just don't subscribe because you'll throw your money away.

Horrible site! I received more security emails from Zoosk warning me not to reply to scammers who contacted me than I got from real men. I wanted a refund and was told I should know the difference between real and fake profiles??? Oh really, so it's my fault they don't verify people!!!

Well the area I live in isnt the most populated. I've had technical problems with the site. Its overpriced. I think theres a really high guy to girl ratio. And I think most of these women have too high of standards. As I've heard . The women I did meet looked nothing like her picture. These camera these days can make a 60 year old look 30.

Don't waste you time, effort nor your money. I'd give zero stars if that was an option. Their roulette search matches you with individuals that you can see nothing about until you clicked yes (it's a picture only option)- but WTF would they put individuals in a the pool that are 200, 500, 1000 miles away?? Is that a realistic dating option? And they are loaded with profiles that may have been at one time, but I think they never clear their profiles, so some of these are obviously a decade old (you read some of the profile and the information is obviously very dated). And they are loaded with fake profiles. They don't do much vetting on the front end. 95% of those that Zoosk advised me had a match, within a day or two, I get a follow advisory that the profile has been removed for possible fraud (in one instance I received the notices 4 minutes apart.

Messages don't always reach the other person. I was just lucky the guy tried again and we were able to swap numbers. Sent eachother screenshots showing zoosk Messages. My Messages to him never arrived. Zoosk made me look like I wasn't interested. Not great!

The site is full of profiles that have not been updated for years (e.g. profile mentions of lockdown). It's quite obvious those people have long since left. When I decided to leave I tried updating my profile with the date I left, just to make others aware, but the update was rejected by moderators. Overall, pretty scammy behaviour.

It is now the 19th July and nothing has changed, no solution to the problem of logging in or any attempt to contact me and certainly no refund. As I cannot log in, I cannot cancel my subscription which will renew automatically if I don't cancel, but I cannot log in, so how can I cancel, so had to cancel the card. This is a really annoying outcome, please do not risk it.

Terrible customer service! Will cancel you without refund for imaginary policy violations and it is full of prostitutes and sugar babies.

Don’t do it !! , was on this site 10 yr ago , but it had a diff & easier format , they have changed it all & now you can’t send or receive messages correctly , there’s the same profiles still on just they put 10 years older but pics are 10 year younger lol , my advice is stay well clear , they just after your money & nothing else

This isn't a dating platform: it is a pathetic, sad attempt by a company to scam unsuspecting people through the use of devious, despicably greedy tactics.

Zoosk is a dysfunctional website. It blocks all attempts to verify registration etc. It is not worth the agony of trial and error registration process. Thus, appears Zoosk 's business model is based upon :for every customer lost, we get 5 new ones so why bother with complaints"

Literally don’t waste your money. You can’t set parameters for distance, or education, religion or interests so you get shown everyone in your age range. You’re shown the same people you already said you aren’t interested in. And I honestly don’t think people get your messages through the inbox. I responded to a couple of people and chatted a bit and then the conversations would disappear entirely from my Zoosk inbox. I sent messages to other people I was matched with or who “liked” me and didnt get a response from one person (not even a “thanks but no thanks”) yet kept getting notifications from Zoosk that the same people wanted to meet me. When I contacted customer service, they said they were looking into it but I never got any other reply from them. Total waste of time and money!

I could never send a message because of a glitch in Zoosk software. They wanted to blame my phone. I had to cancel and demand a refund because customer service will not solve their own problems. They won't accept any responsibility.

So the site has a rating of 2.0??? Thats way, way to high......I joined on a cheap intro of £10, nothing to loose so to say....on leaving, discounted join fee of £26.00???? In the month I was on I had 10 browse my profile, 4 make me favourites and not a one responded to my letters......did write to admin about how crappy there site was and they took me for being retarded and told me to adjust my details in my profile.........already done, still no responses. Unbelievable amount of dead profiles, far more in my search than active members.....no mention on there profiles when they were last active on the site....my ex-wife is on there and she passed away 3 years ago.........save your money and make it possible your able to cancel your membership by joining via Paypal......which means you can cancel anytime as I did.....all these reviews get the same generic replies from the site, dont be taken in ...I joined mainly because of how popular my profile was prior to joing - once I joined, all interest in my profile disapeared......not a single letter from anyone

It has so changed in a year, in early 2024 it was so great I had many conversations and meet and greets. the last one lasted a year but we realized it wasn't going anywhere, so I resigned up to Zoosk for the same type of subscription and have actually reached out to many many women, not one has replied and I have event begged them to please let me know you go the message. What went wrong????

Too many false Members, which are used to get people to sign up. Then either dissapear of are said to be baddies and struck off the system. Once your signed up, they dont give a dam what you say about them.
