do not risk your life or money

just like the other reviews i’d give this a 0 if i could
do not ride these and if you do, do not expect a good cheap journey,
they over charge, every time i ended a scooter, 3 separate charges for £3 would come up, £72 was taken from my account after 7 rides which were £1-£5 rides. emailed for a refund and what do you think i happened, they couldn’t see the charges on their account so they asked me for proof, i send it and then no reply after being re sent 4 times. absolutely useless money grabbing b words .
i was even riding one when it stopped working dead in the road, 70% charge and was working for 2/3 mins before just decided it wanted to stop in the road. another would lock and accelerate, i hate to sound like a mom but they’re very unsafe as they are not checked for faults like this, they also won’t do anything about it if you point it out.
i’ve ridden a voi scooter in brum which nothing nice should be given to people in brum yet they were safer and the app worked and i customer service is absolutely ace replies and sorted it in a day

90% of the time the scooters don't work

90% of the time the scooters either don't work or the app doesn't work. Can't be bothered to let you know your verification is expiring before it expires so I had to walk an hour home. Customer service is poor. App showed 2 zips at a stop walked all the way there and no zips not a single one so had to walk across town to find one that actually worked. Waste of time

Id give zero if possible

Id give zero if possible. Terrible app, unstable when trying to establish ID just because it was bright sunshine, basic end user integration failure and the service area in Taunton does not allow use on the beautiful canal paths which by default is an inherent element of the Active Travel Bill promoting health and well-being, instead PUSH you ignorantly onto using on the road or pavements and do not supply safety equipment. A company using as much government funding as possible whilst no safety or guidance given to the end user. Disgusting business model and SHOULD NEVER BE USED.

Completely useless

The licence verification process was down meaning we were u able to use the scooters at all. The app simply said "request includes invalid parameters" when trying to start. We had planned an entire day around using these scooters which was ruined.

Good luck !!

This company operate e-scooters in my town as part of the nationwide trial. Having used scooters in London the comparison to this company is beyond belief.

In London the scooters are well kept, well maintained and the customer service is outstanding … Zipp however take a different view.

Zipp’s scooters a poorly maintained rarely charged and covered in graffiti. If you are lucky enough to find one with enough charge to get you moving, the likely hood is there will be a mechanical issue which will cut your journey short. You do have the option to report this to their “Customer service” but you will get a condensing reply and then nothing further … forget even getting a refund, you’re more likely to spot a unicorn that see your money again.

However as the UK government have yet to legislate for privately Owned scooters, I am forced to ride these death traps around Aylesbury.
