amazing suitcase my daughter is very happy 🥰
I needed a way to my little one around on holiday that didn't include a buggy. This is the perfect solution. He puts all his toys in the bag and then uses the scooter. Really great quality too.
We have owned the z-Flyte scooter suitcase for 2 years now. Pros: It's sturdy, good-looking, and surprisingly spacious. Very useful at airports and train stations. The kid loves it.
Cons: It has some design flaws that should be corrected.
1 - It's incredibly difficult to roll on an ordinary pavement. When the scooter is folded, part of it sticks out, bumping on the ground or on the child's ankles. The wheels are good only on a flat surface, which means that every walk to the tube station is a nightmare.
2 - The handle has only one height, which is too short for an adult to roll the suitcase, and I'm of average height.
3 - There's a mechanism that blocks the handle from unfolding, but it doesn't keep it folded. So when you're boarding a plane and walk down the aisle to find your seat, you can't carry the suitcase (because the handle opens by itself), nor roll it (because the handle is too short to do it). [EDIT: I discovered it could be blocked, but it needs to be pushed in with great strength, and it sometimes doesn't work when the suitcase is on a soft surface such as a carpet.]
4 - When the suitcase is full, the scooter isn't very stable and keeps falling forward.
5 - The scooter base is quite short and narrow, and the handlebar has only one height, so it's basically useless for children older than ~7 years, even when they don't exceed the weight limit.
To sum up, I probably wouldn't have bought this product again if I had known how difficult it would be to use it.
Been through 3 of them in 3 years ! - Terrible building quality Handles broke on 2 and wheels feel off the other don't waste your money and end up with an upset child.
great product kids enjoyed using them in the air port bough mine from keep em quiet .com and left them a review already but you guys make the product, really good thanks
