STOP CALLING!

The ZIGGO customer service and filling their form online is a waste of time. Time to take a legal action for this annoying company!

The worst internet provider ever! I've been using (or trying to use) them over a year since my landlord started the contract. The connection was never good, there is a construction related issue in general, but even though they've seen the problem they assured the connection and get the membership. Initially they boost the connection and you don't feel problem, but after few months suddenly you can't even watch something online. You call for a technician, sends an email in advance saying 'if necessary we'll change cable to solve the issue and charge you a fixed 50Eur for it, we assure you a solution', he changes something without even asking your confirmation and at the end finds out it's not solution and he can't solve it. And he leaves just like that. So you pay monthly for nothing, and a 50Eur on top for a non-existing solution! You're a big scam Ziggo!

Really poor service. For 8 straight months they were unable to install the TV+internet service after several attempts, I tried to cancel the contract and they still made me pay 50% of the total amount for the remaining time until the end of the contract. They did not give me back the money I paid for the 8 months that I was without the installed services, very unprofessional. I don’t suggest to anyone.

I got called by Ziggo with an amazing offer for fiber glass they said. I got promised really good rates and almost free Netflix. I said I wanted this as a private person. The person on the phone never ask about my business so should have not had any information about my business. By the time the contract came, which I had to sign straight away, I saw all my business info, including chamber of commerce number etc, which I never told them and found out that the Netflix deal was not offered by them (so it wasn't true) and the rate was also higher than promised. As soon as I asked how they had all my business info (which I never provided) they hung up on me!
This is a TOTAL SCAM and I would NEVER DO business with Ziggo.

They harass you with phone calls. I would never buy anything from a company that has such aggressive and shameless sales techniques.

Reply from Ziggo
Absolutely the worst customer service I ever experienced. They make it impossible to cancel a subscription. It is not possible to cancel via MyZiggo, via Mail, or via Chat. The only option is to call, whereby you have to navigate the automatic call assistant over 5 layers of questions. Only after repeating my post code and my house number 3 times, and by pressing the number combination 5 4 4, was I able to reach a customer service agent. Once in the queue, the waiting time was abismally long. I have never experienced anything as bad as this.

First technian didn't knock the door.
Had to go through all the trouble to get an other technian days later.
It was specified in the request he needed to bring an other modem as the one we received was defective, he didn't bring one so he couldn't make internet work.
He threatened (to hit me) me and called me cancer when he's the one in the wrong (I recently lost a friend from cancer and my oldest son passed away from cancer. It makes it worse to use those words in these circonstances).
There's NO customer service whatsoever (even if it's not a thing here, at least a little decency and some kind of "service").
On top of this they send the email for the 35€ charge for not being home for the technician (when clearly I was home), and had to call again for a third technician to come.
Very unprofessional and lots of lost time.

They keep calling me with deceptive telemarketing calls, first pretending that they just need an appointment to lay some cable, but it quickly turns into the sleaziest sales call. They lie, they keep calling despite multiple times asking not to be called again, they lie some more, and they don't even understand what they're trying to hawk: some coax-fiber thing that's supposedly better than the fiber I already have (it's not; it's a mix of coax and fiber that mitigates the problems with coax so they can offer higher speeds on their older infrastructure; but it's not better than pure fiber).
Edit: they called again on 30/08/2024

My son in Netherlands cancelled Ziggo contract from Vodafone shop but we realized a month later nothing cancelled. We than gave a request to cancel from app and there is no one calling us or cancelling it. This is the worst way that a company treat their customer. We regret that we signed internet contract with ziggo and will probably change vodafone as well since they are the same!

Reply from Ziggo
the price is increased in the name of inflation though the contract was fixed for 2 years. Strange. The policies are hidden and never told while having one2one. I was happy client and it is now disappointing. The n/w goes sometime.

Wow! I added Ziggo internet as part of my vodafone phone contract and this company is like dealing with a business from the 1960s.
I was sold an internet package and double confirmed with them that it could be cancelled on a rolling monthly basis in case we had to move.
This was double confirmed by the Vodafone salesperson.
Now we need to move. Not only can you not cancel on online, or via email, they make you call them.
Just spoke to one of the rudest customer service agents I’ve ever spoken with who said “no you have to pay out the year” and then hung up on me?
Genuinely gobsmacked that a business like this still exists. Even for Dutch standards this was rude beyond belief.

Horrible! I complain because all of a sudden my internet works terrible for the last 3 weeks (i waited a bit in case it was something temporal). I call Ziggo complaining about it and the woman being super rude blames me for using too many devices (2 iphones, a tv and 2 pcs) of course not all at the same time and really normal use. At some point we agree (she was screaming at me, so I told her, sure, whatever you say) that it was my fault for having a 4 years old router and using too many devices. So She got me the last router. Surprise, surprise! I got the latest router, which was the same one i was using! 😂 So i hired and external consultant and she told me they normally deviate the bandwidth when a new neighbor starts with them, that it cannot be for the router as i have already very good one.
It is terrible that they make excuses for the problems you are experiencing, but that they make you lose your time and that they are rude… Too much…

I tried to cancel my contract with Ziggo (my internet) calling from my work mobile. The guy on the other side stated he cannot identify me (his technician colleague did that on Messenger without any problems using my correct data) and started being simply mean and I guess racist as I didn't speak Dutch. When i tried to explain my mobile phone has nothing to do with my Ziggo account and I will need to report them to their regulator due to inability to cancel the contract (as he didn't propose any other way), he hanged up on me. WHAAAAAAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY HAVE.
Because I escalated on Messenger, somebody called me back and managed to cancel eventually.

even Chat GPT also know how bad ziggo services are in limburg.
Persistent Issues: Many long-term users of Ziggo have reported consistent problems with connectivity, including frequent disconnections, slow speeds, and outages. These issues are not isolated and suggest systemic problems within the company.
Customer Dissatisfaction: Reviews and customer feedback often highlight dissatisfaction with Ziggo's customer service, describing it as unresponsive and ineffective in addressing problems. This can exacerbate the frustration when dealing with technical issues.
Infrastructure Problems: Despite being a major provider, Ziggo may not have invested adequately in upgrading and maintaining its infrastructure, leading to poor service quality. This is particularly evident in areas where competition is limited.
Regulatory Environment: There might be insufficient regulatory pressure on providers like Ziggo to improve service quality, allowing them to operate without making necessary improvements.

Ziggo absolutely sucks. The internet is constantly dropping and going out, especially during rain and that happens quite a lot on the Netherlands. At the moment, it is sunny out but I can’t even use Netflix because Ziggo internet is absolute crap. Will be switching to KPN as soon as the update their cable service.

How to loose your customer
Ziggo sends an email with a gift for loyal customers: 1 year of free Film1.
I immediately activated this.
Never got Film1
As a response Ziggo says "do you have proof that we gave you this offer?"
Result: I am looking for a new provider

You watch a tv show for 5 minutes, then have 10 minutes full of useless and annoying ads. Will cancel all except internet. What a pot of sheet.

this is my second review after another 8 months with Ziggo. if you're looking for a provider DON'T SIGN ZIGGO!
Overpriced for the worst quality. I'm working from home and need a good connection for calls and work with online documents. But the Internet just keeps disconnecting all the time, for important calls I have to just use mobile internet as a router. All Ziggo can recommend to me - is to move the modem closer to the working place and not have objects between me and the router. This is not a solution, it's just an awful internet provider!
