We booked the Zara for 7.30 tonight. We finally got to sit at the table at 8.15. Our meals arrived at 9.10 pm. When they did arrive every meal was cold. They reheated some of it, not even an apology.
The Pino Grigio wine was tasteless.
I ordered a king prawn Rogan Josh. The prawns had no taste whatsoever.
When the bill arrived there was an automatic service charge, which we refused to pay.
What a shame, we were so looking forward to a lovely family evening and it was ruined.

We were a party of 6 ladies and we had such a great evening

Worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Ordered a chicken tikka masala which it was not. Gave me an excuse that they don’t use food colourings like other places but it was extremely spicy!Food was cold even though it takes less than 5 minutes to get home. Called up and they basically called me a liar. I will not be returning! Don’t waste your money!

During a summer afternoon, I joined an elderly friend to mark her birthday. Accompanied by her small dog, we arrived around lunchtime. The owner and the entire team provided exceptional assistance and warmth. We relished a delightful meal, with our canine companion warmly received. They kindly seated us in a tranquil spot, allowing us to have a splendid celebration. Having visited Zari numerous times, the excellent service and food quality have consistently impressed me. I strongly suggest visiting.

This is a hidden gem in Crawley. Just fabulous perfectly spiced curries, beautifully presented by attentive staff. Puts the fancy London ones in the shade.

Dont bother, Bombay potatoes were hard, in fact i threw half of them away as they were black, order was incomplete, curry was bland, ordered replacement from the Raj at Broadfied...
Will not use again.....

We have lived in the area for over 10 years but never given this restaurant a look until now. Fantastic meal and great service we will now be coming here more often it’s a hidden gem. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

I placed an order tonight, at 7:28pm. I was told on the phone my food would be delivered within the hour. Food did not turn up within the hour, in fact food turned up at 9pm!

When I rang and spoke to a lady she told me I was difficult for not understanding it’s a weekend. I’m not difficult, had I been told the food would take longer I wouldn’t of minded but I wasn’t. She then hung up on me and said she was too busy to speak to me. When I requested a manager or whoever was in charge, I was told there wasn’t one. Find that hard to believe.

Is this really the way you treat and speak to your customers who have been waiting over 1 hour for food?

Visited with an elderly friend in the summer to celebrate her birthday. It was lunchtime and we had her little dog with us. The proprietor/owner and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We had a wonderful meal, our canine friend was welcomed and we were found a quiet corner away from other guests to enjoy a superb celebration. I've been to Zari before on many occasions and never been disappointed by the standards of service or quality of food. Highly recommended.
