Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost!

I bought a bed frame from Zara home. Condo requires scheduling for moving big items, and I need to take a day off to accommodate delivery. However, there was no contact or any news before my appointed delivery date. It was not until I called multiple times that I was able to reach customer service who said they’ll send an Email to the delivery company regarding this issue. The company called back two days later to schedule delivery.

I placed my order with assembly. Yet the packages were delivered without assembly. I called 5 times regarding the same issue with only the same reply: sorry for the inconvenience caused, you’ll receive an email when we have an update.

Three weeks later, when I called them and ask for a refund and for them to organise a return, they finally send me an email saying if I’ll have to pay for all shipping costs.

Basically, I slept on the floor for three weeks and wasted 2+hrs dealing with customer service and hundreds of dollars to return the item.

If this company thinks this is reasonable and acceptable, they’re going out of business. A total waste of time and energy, please take my advice, don’t waste your money and life on this company who does not value its customer.

Appalling company to deal with

Appalling company to deal with. Bought a chair and a basket on two seperate orders. The chair arrived broken and so did the basket. Customer service have been horrendous to deal with to return items and get a refund. There is no phone number only chat online. This has gone on for weeks now and still the chair has not been picked up and refund issued. I strongly believe this company should not be used. I certainly won’t be.

Love new pet range

Zara Home really up their game in the past few years and their pet beds are simply stunning and stylish, as opposed to the tasteless rubbish sold in most pet stores. I can’t believe it took so long for someone to offer stylish and affordable pet bedding.

Warning. They don’t care about the customers.

Zara home is absolutely terrible with shipping and customer service. I’ve ordered clothes from Zara many times and never have issues but the home store is a nightmare. Boxes ALWAYS come to me completely destroyed, not taped well, open on top. When I ordered glasses they were not properly wrapped and 2 broken. But the worst thing was when I ordered a large pillow insert ($65). It came to me used, lumpy and dirty. Stains all over it. I sent a return request and pictures of the used pillow they sent me and they accused ME of making it dirty. They said they wouldn’t take back a used pillow. As if I was the one that used it. I had to fight them for days on this and they never accepted my return. So I had to throw the pillow away and was out $65. That is absolutely NOT OKAY. Just warning you now. Be careful ordering from them.

I'm trying to pay with a Zara Home gift…

I'm trying to pay with a Zara Home gift card on their website, but the gift card amount isn’t being deducted from the total. In addition, I receive an error message when attempting to pay. I've logged out several times, used different browsers, etc., but nothing seems to work. So I contacted Zara Home Customer Service. It was truly hopeless—they clearly don't know what they're doing. It hasn't been resolved. The gift card amount is not applied, and I can’t try another payment method because once the total amount is charged, it can no longer be reconciled with the gift card.

In short: DO NOT buy a Zara (Home) gift card!
Extra: The process from ordering to payment on Zara Home is really not customer-friendly.

No sign of order, zero customer service

Placed an order on the 1st February and haven't heard anything since. Estimated delivery date was the 4th Feb. Have tried to get hold of customer services through the online chat function, via email contact form, and via Whatsapp and have not heard anything back.

I've now come here and read all the horrendous reviews. I'm not sure how such a big and successfully company could so badly overlook the importance of customer service... I'll be aiming to get a full refund but by the looks of things, this may take me months, if I even manage to get hold of them in the first place.

I will definitely avoid Zara Home in the future and recommend you do the same.

Zero stars if I could

Horrible experience will never order from here again. First off, they do not deliver to you home address so you have to pick it up at a ups or drop point -which is fine, but of course not ideal. I ordered a tiny lamp for $40 which is very much over priced. It got delivered to UPS so I went and picked it up and it was missing the part where the lightbulb screws in, so clearly couldn't use it. I process a return, drop it back off at UPS, and then a few days later the replacement arrived. I went back to UPS, got the lamp, and it's missing the same exact piece. I call Zara and tell them what's happened and they can can process a refund, but I need to print the label and go back to UPS to drop it off. So I will have driven to UPS 4 times for this miniature overpriced lamp that came in-usable twice. Horrible - they should not be in business. Save yourself time and never order from them!

I feel umbridged at having to give it…

I feel umbridged at having to give it 1☆!

Bought bedding from them. The bed company let us down by not delivering the bed in the first place. Then a death in the family meant we weren't in the country to return bedding in the return month alloted. When we tried to explain we didn't have a bed to take the bedding and the reasons for the delay in returning it they refused the return. We asked for a credit note instead so we coukd at least benefit from a purchase now that there was no bed for the bedding purchased, they again refused. Their attitude was so disrespectful. They started serving another customer and shrugged their shoulders and had a good laugh over it with the next customer. When we asked where we could put in a complaint we were provided with a complaints procedure in Spanish. When we asked could we have it in English we were told no again. Very poor poor service. The bedding in question was expensive and we have ended up with a product we cannot use. So angry at their dismissal and total lack of customer service. Hope to god nothing out of the ordinary happens to you if you decide to shop there.

Never order from Zara Home

Never order from Zara Home. Would give them actually -5*. No where on the website when ordering does it tell you that they use EVRI - if I had known this I would have gone elsewhere. Ordered 4 Armchairs costing £1500 delivery date 5Feb 25. 2 out of 4 chairs delivered. No 2nd tracking number given as assumption was 1 delivery. No way of contacting Zara except X Instagram! or AO Chatbot. the AI Chatbot was useless and kept hanging up on me saying my order number wasn't long enough (11 numbers - it was). Eventually after 1 hour of searching found Zara Home tel number was told split delivery and would be arriving next day. Well today came and 1 out 2 chairs arrived - now we have a 3rd tracking number but my confidence of receiving chair is now 0%. Dreadful!! will I get money back for missing chair?- reading other reviews am not holding my breath.

I won't buy from Zara again! Shocking customer service!

If I could give minus stars I would. I ordered a jewellery box however it did not match the description online. I spent a week trying to explain the problem to their customer services via their online chat/whatsapp chat/FB chat which was painful! I would get cut off repeatedly, had to repeat the problem time and time again, told the order matched the description (sent photographic proof that it didn't). Most of the time it was AI responding to my pleas. Eventually I received a case number only to have them reject it and for me to go through the whole process again of sending images, re-explaining the problem. I did eventually get a postage return and subsequently a refund, but I have never had to pester so much for an solution to a very simple problem.
I won't buy from Zara again! Shocking customer service!

Awful delivery experience and no accountability

Ordered a ~£370 chair from Zara Home in January this year. The delivery experience was a joke.

It arrived partially snapped, irreparably and so that the chair couldn’t be sat on without it breaking.

It was delivered through Evri, with the box torn open at the top, wet at the bottom and edges, and visibly damaged with scrapes in many places, showing signs that it has been handled roughly.

The couriers dumped it on the doorstep - did not knock, telephone or contact us in any way to let us know it was outside, and it could easily have been taken.

There was such an unacceptable lack of care and accountability by Zara Home which clearly resulted in major damage to the item.

This is all not to mention it took two weeks to deliver as it remained with the couriers from 3 Jan until 15 Jan when it was finally delivered after I lodged multiple complaints.

The item isn’t in stock anymore as it’s taken so long to deliver, and they won’t offer me any compensation for the total failure to deliver what was promised.

I have order from them and they ve cancelled my order by their mistake. They never informed me and when i call to see what happens they said with this passive violent politeness “ we are sorry we cannnot do anything “

Lovely site but dreadful customer…

Lovely site but dreadful customer service. Contacted to say that items meant as gifts were damaged (packaging) and then told to drop them off! One, we live in the countryside and, two, why should I go to the extra hassle of dropping them off (and our nearest drop-off point is also miles away). We don't all live in towns and cities or near drop-off points and the items were so damaged, it was totally unacceptable that they had been sent out in the first place. I explained all this initially but am still waiting for them to understand this and arrange a home collection.

Unbelievably Poor - avoid if possible.

Ordered some items 16th Dec - really early for Jan birthday. Nothing, no communication, no parcel. Chased - nothing. 8th Jan I receive a confirmation of delivery email - whoop, it's arrived just in time. 30 mins later I receive a 'Thanks for Your Returns' email. Still no parcel. I contact them, I want to know how I can receive an invisible parcel AND send back within 30 mins - and there's no explanation, no apology, poor attitude, weirdly defensive responses. TBH, I would have probably re-ordered but my 'interaction' with customer service put me off completely, I now have zero confidence they would deliver - or would even care whether they deliver. It's the worst company I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I doubt they'll exist in the future.

Poor customer service

I have been waiting 2 weeks to get my parcel delivered and still have not received it. Despite paying a lot of money they still charge you for the delivery in the UK which is rarely seen in other shops anymore... I have been in contact with them to chase where my parcel is and they are not really doing anything to find it and ensure it is delivered. I ensured it was ordered with enough time before Christmas as it was supposed to be a present but it never arrived on time. When you ask them to return you the money they just reply by saying that the parcel will be delivered shortly but that never happened. Definitely the worst customer service and way to deal with delivery issues. When I have had this sort of issues with other shops like ASOS, Amazon and JD they immediately return you the money without hesitating. It is not worth it to buy such expensive items.

If i could i would give 0

If i could i would give 0, just bought 4 big towels and 4 midsize towel, 4 kitchen towels and 12 small guest towels, paid over 400 euro and the quality is so bad, everytime we dry ourselfs of we are full of black bits of coton.... what a bad quality for a high price! Never buying there again thats for sure.
