Everything I have said in those still remains completely valid and true, but over the last few months I have become aware of yet another negative dimension concerning the conduct of this firm, and that is, that almost entirely within exception, the advertisements on it's platform apart from being very overly frequent and intrusive anyway, are actually, having purposefully checked out what i am going to tell you here, almost entirely from companies that should be regarded by YouTube as being scamming companies that should not be allowed to advertise on its platform, but they are! I myself was recently scammed by one of their video advertisers, but my bank refunded me! If you take note of the YouTube video trading name of these companies advertising via their videos on YouTube and then search for these company names on Trustpilot.com, you will find yourself shocked as I was to then find out that almost always, with hardly any exception, these turn out to be companies where reviewers in their reviews of these companies, report in their reviews their experience of having been scammed by these companies, and also urging people not to buy from them! Please check out what I say here for yourselves and you will find yourselves amazed at the extent of this happening, and the apparently complete lack of morals of YouTube.com in allowing these scamming companies to advertise and operate on it's platform! You tube premium subscription support is subpar. They intentionally make it impossible to speak with anyone. Chat support goes 404 and email support goes unanswered. Buyer beware.

Great app all in all I have the family plan only thing I would adjust rn is when I go to adjust speed of the video the plus + and minus ➖ are way to close to the horizontal line anytime I try press plus or minus it hits that and adjust it super low or super high

YouTube Creator Support is extremely disappointing. Small creators work hard every day to create original videos, edit content, and grow their channels, but when monetization problems happen, YouTube gives vague decisions and generic replies. There is no clear explanation, no proper human support, and no exact guidance about what needs to be fixed. Waiting months and then getting rejected again without details is unfair and very discouraging for hardworking creators. YouTube should improve its support system and treat small creators with respect.

YouTube’s moderation system doesn’t just make mistakes, it makes false claims and then refuses to acknowledge them. My videos keep getting flagged for “nudity” despite containing zero nudity of any kind. No transparent clothing, no genitals, no nipples, nothing.

YouTube already confirmed one of these videos had no nudity during an appeal. They removed the strike. Then, less than an hour later, the exact same video was flagged again for the exact same nonexistent nudity, and suddenly the explanation changed. Their own decisions contradict each other.

Customer service refuses to help, refuses to escalate, and refuses to accept a complaint. They just repeat the same false claim as if saying it again makes it true. This isn’t a misunderstanding, it’s a system that lies to users and then hides behind canned responses.

Now (6/21) weeks after I have stopped uploading completely because they can't stop lying, out of nowhere they delete the entire channel for a completely new nudity accusation. They can't actually point to anything, there never was any nudity, I just hurt somebody's feelings so they continue to lie.

Nobody can build anything on a platform that invents violations and then denies you any path to correct them.

YouTube isn’t a bad platform but what really marrs it for me is the type of advertising they run. Polish that claims to remove scratches from a car body when it’s down to the metal, rust remover that obviously can’t work as well as shown. Spectacles that have zoom autofocus. High end CCTV cameras that I have bought that are ridiculously overpriced and can be bought on EBay for a fraction of the price. Please look at reviews of these companies before buying as they have non existent customer services and chances are you will lose your money.
Perhaps YouTube really want you to have the paid version so they run these naff advertisements?

Wall to wall AI SLOP, fake videos made using AI most people would just accept. One site constantly shows people dying on Everest, mostly through their own bad behaviour. Not one person is real, names are given and just do not exist. Another site reports sensation murder trials all fictitious. No amount of reporting does any good they still are there raking in money from ads.

The stuff sold on youtube should be banned. The are robbing people of their hard earned money. How is this allowed. Its the biggest scam online.

What a poor experience YouTube has become, its not much different to any other site full of pop ups to ruin the experience for everyone, its over run with ads and add blocking does not work its and so censored that its cringe level, i still get some pleasures from it i will admit but oh how far you have fallen from what you once were YouTube, you was awesome a decade ago 😞

Youtube was one of the best platforms in the entire world. Key word “was” because now schools are banning YouTube all across schools. The reason is “that it’s distracting to the other students…” distracting who? Who is getting distracted by someone watching brainrot on YouTube, nobody is. If you’re somebody who makes review videos pls make a video about this. BRING BACK YOUTUBE ON TO SCHOOL DEVISES!!

Greed has ruined YouTube. Incessant adverts. If you pay thirteen quid per month, it becomes watchable.

Youtube makes it impossible for small channels to grow. Even with elite metrics (ctr, watchtime etc.) videos get really hard supressed. Gemini itself confirms that.

Sooooo many ads, Incredbile, you can't even watch 5 minute video without at least 4 ads of a minute each. The good thing is that you have time to write review in the mean time.

Money, money, money, is the rich Man's world. Greediness, so from last month, from EUR 9.99 to 13.99 EUR. What the hell (when posting a word called f....?Hyppocrits you Americans) is wrong....here. Reason? You pay & you loose all titles within 30 days?
