Really disappointing experience. This isn’t the first issue, but it will be the last. After 10 years of shopping with YOOX and several bad experiences in the past 6 months, I’m done.
In my latest order, the item I received didn’t match the description. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they made me pay for all shipping and return shipping costs. Customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful—just repeating scripted responses and ignoring the actual issue.
Completely unacceptable. Would not recommend. Save yourselves the disappointment, frustration and wasted time dealing with their customer service team

Great range, great service
One of the few EU suppliers that have actually mastered the art of selling to UK. Great range of clothing with sometimes some seriously good deals to be had. Delivery charge is very reasonable, and they make the returns process as straightforward and simple as possible if you do need to return anything (not sure that I ever have!!). Dispatch is sometimes a little slow, and as orders are sent from Italy don't expect next day delivery, but for the cost involved it's very probably as good as it's possible to get.

Of course, we can't and don't want to claim that all YOOX customer service employees are morbidly selfish and bitter. Rather, this stems from shortsightedness, legal illiteracy, and a lack of respect for others.
We've met many friendly, helpful, and worthy residents and citizens of beautiful Italy among #YOOX customer service employees. These wonderful people are a source of pride to Italy and contribute to the admiration of this beautiful country. We raised six children in our family, and my husband and I express our sincere gratitude and respect to the great artisans of sunny Italy for their high-quality clothing and footwear! We didn't chase flashy brand labels; we valued and admired the excellent quality of clothing and footwear made in Italy!
It's very sad that over the past 25 years, the word "Made in Italy" as a synonym for quality has begun to lose its true meaning.
We deeply regret that YOOX once represented Italy with dignity and was a wonderful project, functioning perfectly, and we, customers, enjoyed shopping and found common ground with YOOX employees, but that today, shopping at YOOX no longer brings pleasure and joy. We, customers, have lost trust in YOOX and the word "Made in Italy," and we continue to lose it further...
But we still believe in the great Italian masters of clothing and footwear and their descendants. May God help all of us and save Italy and the world! Amen.
Today we deleted our YOOX account... We were forced to do this due to everything that happened and that is happening at YOOX.

Deflecting tactics / avoiding accountability in faulty item
Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
25 Feb 2026 - contacted YOOX to highlight a product defect in a puffer coat I bought over a year ago. I clearly stated I had only worn it for one winter season and was shocked to see the arm had ripped on the inside, was there any remediation for a fault of this nature. Additionally its not water repellent as described, albeit a minor issue I wouldn’t have raised in isolation. YOOX confirmed that ‘review for issues that are flagged up 6 months or more after the purchase date, we need to verify that the item defect is a manufacturing fault and not caused by repeated use.’ I was asked to get a statement from the designer.
13 March - Provided PDF of email correspondence FROM original brand confirming the product was faulty (ie this should not have occurred), YOOX said 'the designer has not stated there is fault.' YOOX hadn't scrolled past page 1 of the document. I pointed out that they didn’t read the document, YOOX doesn’t respond for 8 days.
17 March - YOOX writes a further email confirming the wording used by the brand - product defect v manufacturing defect - will be insufficient. I write several emails requesting clarification, as I've provided them the information they initial requested. YOOX stop responding.
Late March - After 2 weeks of no response, I am forced to lodge a new request and subsequently have 2 x phone calls with YOOX customer service. Both representatives confirm a full refund if returned would occur. This was following a partial refund of '10%', '15%', 'ok final offer 20%,' 'ok, this is our absolute final offer, 25%.' Why is YOOX bartering with me? I asked to speak to a manager & was told they would call me that afternoon (hence the 2nd call when I didn’t hear from the manager). ON the 2nd call (on Tuesday), was told the manager would call today - & I waited. Wednesday, Thursday I waited - nothing.
Easter Monday (a public holiday in the UK) - I received one email on Easter Monday saying I attempted to call you, unfortunately we are not in a position to offer any refund upon return only 25%.
April - I have sent three emails clarifying I have been told otherwise (I want to return the jacket & have been told that would be possible), both times receiving the exact same response. 'Due to the fact this purchase was 12+ months ago, we cannot accommodate a full refund.' For completeness, the 25% offer still stands. For self-evident reasons of distrust and frustration, this is an entirely inadequate response.
By 12 April, 7 weeks in, I have received THREE EMAILS with the exact same response saying they can’t do a refund on a product bought over 12 months ago.
This conflicts with verbal advice and represents a process where YOOX have attempted to deflect, avoid, and absolve themselves of accountability where possible. Eg. The PDF doesn’t contain the statement, the statement is now the wrong words, actually we can’t return anything over 12+ months? (Information YOOX has had from the beginning)
I’ve had to battle with severe incompetence and blatantly being ignored.
I would never recommend shopping with them again due to the complete disregard for customer care.
