AVOID

🚩🚨 Despite being this transports companies biggest customer spending approx £500,000 (in the past 12 months) and housing thousands of pallets in the warehouse paying storage, giving all of our transport needs to we now face extreme difficulties in moving forward positively.
Our business relies on supplying customers online and retailers (Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, B&M, Home Bargains, Asda etc) Recently our service level has been appalling. The owner seems to be on holiday all the time so isn't aware of issues internally which is also alarming. The recent issues started when we had multiple failed retail deliveries due to their transport drivers damaging goods en route (This has happened countless times) This means we miss the delivery, risk losing the order and then every day we are late our business is losing money. We spend years building positive retail relationships for Silver X to single handedly ruin our reputation causing us internal chaos with multiple unhappy customers due to only the transport side of the business. Silver X Prices are very high and the service doesn't match the extreme prices they charge for all transport related jobs. Furthermore, we have been getting charged for shunts from their warehouse to ours (1-20 pallets per movement) when they have failed to turn up rescheduled to the following day and then billed us for both days - we discovered this. There is very little care around the situations I have so far explained. We recently decided we need to find an alternative transport company to deliver our HQ orders and retail deliveries and this is where the major problem now comes - due to poor service and unrealistic pricing this decision was not taken lightly but is our only means of proceeding forward and ensuring our customers/retailers receive a better service from us due to knock on effects of Silver X service however since finding another local firm Silver X have now banned this company from their premises claiming there is a legal dispute, forcing us to continue using them or being informed we need to move our pallets out of storage. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with and would never recommend to anybody unless things change dramatically I am going to escalate this as far as possible and ensure everybody locally and nationally is made aware of our treatment by uploading images, messages and my true opinion on events to date so far. It is with deep regret that after 12 months of working effectively with the management team at Skinny foods, I had to inform the MD that we no longer wished to continue our relationship following the last couple of weeks of the owner, James's involvement. I/we will not tolerate abusive, bullying and threatening behaviour towards the company or our team. I can do no more than wish the company and the management team the best of luck in the future. An unfortunate but somewhat expected response considering our recent interactions. I can confirm that we have recently completed a customer survey of our 50+ customers, many larger than this one, and the response towards our team has been exceptional.

Great service

Mike and Carl turned up on time, collected my old mattress and delivered the new Simba mattress. They were polite and courteous, and made very little noise as it was quite early on a Sunday morning! Thank you.

Had a Simba mattress delivered today

Had a Simba mattress delivered today. Steve and Mike were nothing short of fantastic! They carried my old super king size mattress down two flights of stairs (and took it away), then carried the new one up!
Their communication pre delivery was great, and they were professional, and so helpful.
I would have absolutely no qualms in recommending them, and their company.

Couldn't be happier.

Couldn't be happier.
Huge thanks to Simon and Keith who delivered my Simba matress and bedding today.
The service was excellent. I had a call about an hour before delivery and they were bang on time.
They removed my old matress and set up the new one for me as I would have struggled on my own.
I'd recommend Silver X Logistics to anyone.

Such polite & helpful staff

I called this morning to check the details of my delivery expected later today. From the moment my call was answered the man I spoke to was polite, spoke clearly and really couldn't have been more helpful. After I put the phone down, I called straight back to ask how I log how happy I was with the service I received. I then spoke to a lady that was as equally polite, helpful and clearly spoken - such a refreshing change, thank you!!

A massive Thank You!

A massive Thank You! to Jack & Michael from Silver X Logistics who just delivered our new Simba mattress. Nothing was too much trouble, and they took extra care to help put the mattress on the bed for us. Our 19month old has also got herself a lovely big box (spaceship?) to play in as well. Thanks again for going out of your way to help us.

The call 1hour before arrival is a great idea.

Hi,

I took delivery of a Simba mattress today, delivered by Silver X Logistics.

I was very impressed with the service provided. Good communication by email and text in advance of delivery.

It's great to get a call 1hour before arrival, in order to prepare, make sure at home etc.

The delivery team of Jon & Mike were very polite and willing to help.

Great job all round. Many thanks!

Fantastic delivery experience

The delivery of our Simba mattress was exceptional. We were kept well informed prior to delivery and they delivered within the time slot. The guys were so friendly and took it straight up to the bedroom. Then they realised that the company who had delivered our new headboard for our bed hadn’t been able to get it up our stairs. They offered to help us and ended up passing it up from the garden, over the Juliette balcony and through the French doors. Brilliant service, they went above and beyond, and were a huge help to us.

Excellent service throughout

Excellent service throughout. Texts, emails and phone calls to keep you informed. 4 hour delivery slot with an hour call before actual arrival time. Very friendly, helpful and professional drivers/delivery guys. Thank you Dave and Steve for your excellent service. Would recommend highly to others .

Very unhappy with the utter lack of responsibilities from these people and it makes me wish that one day somebody leaves them in the lurch like they did with me today.

Excellent delivery service

Excellent delivery service. Very considerate guy as to making sure there was nothing being damaged on delivery. He took old items out and new in up a tricky 3/4 turn stairs. Very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

Simba delivery - service with a smile!

Excellent communications and customer service. Clear information was provided the evening before about the delivery slot, which was followed up by a phone call from the delivery team around an hour before arrival. The actual delivery was prompt and went very smoothly thanks to the expert efficiency of the delivery team who completed the task with care and courtesy. An outstanding role model for all courier companies!
