Avoid This Place at All Costs

Avoid This Place at All Costs – Predatory and Deceptive Sales Tactics

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Wyndham will not let you leave until you sign a contract. I’m not exaggerating – we were shuffled from room to room, each time thinking we were done, only to be met with another “representative” pushing even harder. Every time we said no, they escalated. It was like psychological warfare.

We felt like hostages. They made it extremely difficult to walk away without signing something, and used every shady trick in the book to wear us down. This wasn’t a presentation – it was a high-pressure trap disguised as a vacation opportunity.

I regret ever stepping foot into their building. If you value your time, your sanity, and your ability to make decisions without being manipulated, stay far away from this company. Do your research. Read the fine print. And if you find yourself in one of their presentations – leave before they close the door behind you.

There are a lot of bad reviews out…

There are a lot of bad reviews out there. Let's be honest. Happy customers rarely review because they have nothing to vent about. I'll be the outlier.

My husband and I visited the Bonnet Creek location in August of 2024. It's a beautiful resort nestled outside of the Disney Parks. Close enough for a trip to the parks, but far enough to settle down at the pool and relax for a few days.

The sales process was about what you'd think a timeshare sales experience would be. The host collected some basic information, explained that the tour was an opportunity for the company to sell a timeshare and off we went.

We were not anticipating buying anything that Thursday morning. We love to travel, but tend to visit different locations as much as possible. We found out that it is possible to do that with Wyndham, so that opened up our view of a purchase.

The "hard sell" was working directly with our host. There are several levels of membership that you can buy into, and finding the right fit at the right price took some time. We never felt pressured, but it was clear that the host's job was to make a sale.

We are just about to make our next trip to a Wyndham Destination location and couldn't be more excited.

BAD COMPANY AVOID

Terminated membership last year but they only canclled 2 out of 3 contracts they now tell me. They phone me twice a day with robo calls from an unidentified number. They refise to stop phoning me. Very BAD company. AVOID.
