Dreadful company. I ordered a tool from their comedically bad website, which stated next day delivery. I didn’t receive any tracking or email to say it had been dispatched so I contacted them only to be told it hadn’t been sent due to a glitch. I emailed to cancel as I needed it by the weekend but was then told I couldn’t cancel and that I should refuse delivery.
I refused delivery, they received the item back and I’m still waiting on a refund.I emailed them (no apology for their rubbish service) and was told I needed to contact credit control (!). At this point I gave up and started a charge back on my credit card.
Whoever runs this business in the UK should be embarrassed; it’s a complete joke of a company.
Extremely good and strong quality of products. The sales staff that I dealt with were knowledgeable and helpful and pointed me to the right products for my project.
Unreliable website and clueless customer service make for a bad first impression. Tried ordering via Wurth's app only to be told 'payment unsuccessful'. Tried ordering again and got same message. Checked my business acct the following Monday to see both payments had been sent successfully. Wurth customer service assured me tech problems to blame and that both transactions would be refunded with 24 hours. 48 hours later I get refunded for just one of the orders. Called Wurth again to be told that was the only order they have on record and they can't see any record of outstanding amount they owe me. Took a threat of small claims action for them to agree to look into the outstanding £150 they owe me.
Terrible company...
Endless emails and calls regarding refund.
Spent nearly a £100 pounds on a jacket that was not even available!!
So be warned seeing a product on their website does not mean its available and chances are you'll struggle get your money back!!
Shocking poor customer service....
Never again.
Terrible, terrible customer service with arrogant sales reps! They are sales hungry reps that hound you and wait outside your building for you. A constant hassle and time consuming - of course when it’s the end of the month and they want their sales figures up! If you actually need them to sort a problem, they will ignore you and ignore you. Learnt the hard way with dealing with this company.
Was looking for some simple information / confirmation that the product used on my motorhome was suitable to be applied to its wooden floor. If the floor rots, it can be thousands to repair so understandably just looking for some reassurance if its ok or needs to be removed. Nearly 3 weeks later they still can't tell me yes or no.
When using other products historically I've had an instant answer over the phone so this is definitely an area they need to work on. The people I've spoke to in customer services have been nice and have requested the information from the wider team but from my understanding have had nothing back.
I had a really good experience with my local shop as the service was great and they had a fantastic range of products. I now have a trade account and I can order online whenerve I want.
Abhorrent customer service in Northampton store. I was told that I couldn't take a photo of the product, nor be told the price of the product unless I bought it. Customer service representative was aggressive, churlish and incredibly rude. I will never return to Northampton store again. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
I'm a regular buyer of disposable gloves. These used to be Wurth branded and high quality. With Covid, supplies dried up but last week I was 'offered' boxes at £12.99 which I accepted.
The gloves are a generic brand and are available elsewhere at £8 a box. And they sent the wrong size.
Awful company. Do not use.
I bought full set of kitchen doors and end panels.
Within a year they started delaminating.
Within a few years they all delaminated. No offer of a refund or replacements.
My whole kitchen is ruined.
Product not fit for purpose.
Just wanted to say I visited the wurth store in Ipswich Suffolk this morning and what a store fully stocked shelves with everything I’ve ever need. A big shout out to the employees making us feel extremely welcome and with the product knowledge behind them some of the best service I’ve received in any shop for a long time I felt like a customer and not just some guy in a queue can’t wait for my next visit. Wurth is on top no one compares.
Having ordered a couple of pieces shown as being in stock, after 2 weeks my order has still not been delivered. I've had an account with Wurth for years and the service has deteriated so much. If you are a hobbyist then they are probably a good supplier, but if you need to rely on them to run a business then clearly they are the supplier of last resort.
On the 6th of January 2021 during lockdown, a sales rep’ from Wurth called at our premises, he attempted to shake hands and tried to push company products. He was told that we weren’t accepting visitors at which point he said ‘can I be cheeky and come in and use your toilets’. I am absolutely stunned that anyone - let alone an international company, would think that this is responsible/acceptable behaviour during these challenging times. It is due to irresponsible behaviour like this, that we find ourselves in this worsening situation. Needless to say Wurth will be removed from our suppliers list.
Anti competitive practices by this company I do not recommend
Wurth Uk Ltd...have been there for us all the way through the Coronavirus Pandemic..supplying all consumables with quick deliveries and very reasonable prices..still offering special deals on a very regular basis. They are very helpful in many ways and a joy to buy from. Excellent and more
