I believe that Stellantis/WRISK Transfer Insurance services have a cynical policy of refusing Proof of No Claims on spurious grounds so that they can extort larger insurance premiums.
In my case an initial refusal (due to a missing address) was quickly fixed by my previous insurer but then Stellantis decided to refuse the completed document on the grounds that it was a Word document. They then gave me JUST OVER ONE DAY to get hold of a PDF version, or they would have 'no alternative' but reduce my NCD to zero -This has indeed happened and my premium has now gone up by a whopping 30%. I see this as nothing more than theft since I genuinely had those years of no claims.
At no point prior to this had Stellantis/WRISK Transfer stated any file format requirements so the PDF requirement came out of the blue with less than 2 days to respond. This behaviour is entirely unreasonable and makes me think that refusing NCD on spurious grounds is a cynical ploy they use to extract more money from customers.
Of course this corrupt process has taken more than 2 weeks to complete so I cannot get a refund through distance selling legislation.
If you are considering Stellantis/WRISK Transfer then I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Aside from this example of mendacious behaviour, can you imagine having to claim from them? I'm quite sure that this would be impossible.

I initially went with WRISK Land Rover Insurance between April 2024 and April 2025. I liked the package they provided, at an acceptable premium.
Due to increased premiums in April 2025 I went back to my previous insurer for 12 months.
Once again, in 2026, increased premiums caused me to look around and once again I received an acceptable quote from Wrisk Land Rover Insurance (and arranged for this to take effect).
On the day the new policy started I was asked for proof of my No Claims Bonus. Duly provided a document I had been issued with a few days earlier.
I then received an email from Jess at ‘Client Care’ (that’s a joke). Stated my NCB document was not acceptable as there was a gap of a few days. Then also requested I provided details of a non- fault claim which went back to before I was previously insured by WRISK themselves ‘and I was threatened with increased premiums’.
Not happy but went to the trouble of getting updated documentation as requested and replied to Jess suggesting she checked her own records.
No response from Jess so, through on-line agent chat, I confirmed this revised documentation met their criteria (and have a screen shot to prove that). I have to say that Louise, the on-line agent was good at her job and actually gave me some reassurance in their competence.
Then following that, at end of working day (so that I couldn’t respond) I received an email from ‘Jon’ (Client Care again) responding to my previous email to Jess. This email made no sense and demonstrated that Jon had not read my email properly and had not checked their own records.
I wanted to submit a formal public complaint but cannot do so outside of office hours!!!
If this is the way they handle things I have no confidence in them should I ever need to make a claim.
I cannot recommend this company, from this experience, and I shall be reviewing my situation with immediate effect. I will also ensure The Range Rover Owners Club is made aware.
Having initially given a one star review, due to the incompetence of two members of ‘Client Care’ staff, I have been contacted by a Complaints Officer and discussed the issues. Nicole fully accepted the points I raised and made a meaningful apology. She had reviewed all the correspondence, reviewed their records and identified the failings for herself. She has provided me with an email confirming satisfaction with the documentation I had submitted and has undertaken to speak with both Jess and Jon and discuss the learning arising. I feel much better having been able to discuss my complaint, in person, and receive an appropriate apology. Obviously I should not have been put in this position in the first place. I have increased the star rating of my review to reflect this.

Have had two cars insured with Mercedes insurance for 15 years . I have 25 years NCD and have had one minor no fault claim when another driver hit my wing mirror. I am a 58 year old professional living in a low risk post code. My renewal through Wrisk has increased my premium from under £400 last year to a monthly quote that equates to £1950 per year. When I called to ask if there had been an error was treated offhandedly by customer services who said there could not have been an error and that this was their position and all but hung up. Terrible terrible mistake by Mercedes

Absolute joke of an Insurance company to put it politely. Insuredy car through BMW ‘Flex’ car insurance. They advertise that the product is a rolling subscription service and changes can be applied to the ‘subscription’ at anytime unlike a normal 12 month Policy. My 50/50 claim was finally over five years old so I called them to remove it. Was told lies on recorded calls that the claim has no bearing on my price. Requoted on their site and managed to save £10 a month removing said claim. Tried to raise a formal complaint and Phil Jenkinson (Complaints and Fraud Manager) who couldn’t be bothered to call me back, decided to send me a ‘Final Response’ again stating (after I just saved £10 a month removing the claim) that apparently it has no bearing on my price!! Tried to call to speak to Phil’s manager was outright refused and told more lies on a recorded call. Advisor claimed she was trying to ‘de-escalate’ the situation and all she did was make it worse by gaslighting their customer. So in response they then decided to cancel my Policy with 7 days notice. The service I received was absolutely abysmal and their was no professionalism and just attempted to sweep the situation under the rug and ignore my email response. Don’t even waste your money with this Company. Literally tried to stop me saving £120+

After 19 years as a customer of Mercedes insurance and with only one claim for a broken windscreen and no points on my licence, after Wrisk took over the Mercedes account, they declined to renew my insurance based on my address. There is nothing wrong with my address and I was able to get quotes from all the major insurers with absolutely no problems. Looking at other complaints about this company I am wondering of it is age profiling. I am 76. It is of course illegal to discriminate on age. Are they using address as an excuse. Awful company, just do not use.
