Feeling Scammed!

Ordered screen door parts costing over $60 (including shipping) on 3/15. My credit card was charged immediately. However, after a couple of weeks without a shipping notification, I reached out to support. On 3/24 "Dawn" promised my order was being shipped the following day (3/25). As of today, 4/1, no shipment notification and order not received. Reach back out to support and have heard nothing. Nobody answers the phone - just a message that due to Covid they are doing the best they can and then the call disconnects. Starting to feel like I've been scammed!!

UPDATE: After my review posted, I got a call this morning telling me that this review was so "rude." I explained it was rude to not return an e-mail and lie about a shipment being made last week. First he claimed they did respond (they didn't). Then, the gentleman said, "Oh, well your shipment was going out today but we've cancelled your order and refunded you" and immediately hung up on me. If you want to do business with a professional company, look elsewhere!
UPDATE 2: I have checked my e-mail (both inbox and spam folders) and I received just one e-mail telling me my order would be shipping last week - after I inquired on the status of my order. No mention of a manufacturing delay, which I would have totally understood. The only other e-mail I received was this morning - after this review - showing that a refund was being processed for my order. This is not the way to do business! Be honest with customers and they will understand. Calling them liars, not a good look!
UPDATE 3: The hits keep coming. The company changes its response and now, my honest review is "petty." Stay classy WR Hardware! Run don't walk away from them.

Placed an order on 9/12 received an email Just to let you know — we've received your order #345387, and it is now being processed. My card was charged on 9/14. I sent a note on 9/24 asking shipping status and have heard nothing. I realize the company is busy, but no reply from the emails and no way to contact by phone.

I noticed you responded. Since these items are back ordered, let’s just cancel the order. Please check you email and respond to me directly. Thank you.

9/29/2020-I’ve submitted a dispute with my cc company for a full refund. I understand delays and being short staffed, but it’s important that you respond to customers timely, I sent 2 emails and no response. The response on this site was immediate. Thank you.

These are on back order and do not have an estimate of when we will be getting them. We have had a lot of manufactures that are not sending products out. They are trying to supply grocery stores and such before they are supplying other vendors.

Another victim of "Increasing" order status

Like others -- and how I wish I'd read reviews on third-party sites before ordering from this company! -- I received no communication at all about the status of my order, following the initial message that it had been received and was being "processed."

Because one item in my order was time-sensitive, I checked the Web site several times for an estimated time of shipping or arrival; the only notation on my order was that it was "Increasing," whatever the heck that means. They don't answer their phone and the voicemail tells customers to inquire online instead, so I did. Polite email sent: no answer. Finally I asked via their contact form whether I should simply cancel my order, since I had no idea when it would ever be shipped.

Next thing I received: email containing "your Refund receipt." While I'm glad they gave my money back, I have to say this is one of the least communicative companies I've ever dealt with. No attempt to update customers on the status of orders, no response to customer-service inquiries, no one answering phone calls, and the most bizarre order status I've ever seen on an online account. What the heck IS "Increasing" supposed to mean?

Edited to add: My order number was #342795, in case you'd like to use that to cast more aspersions on me. It's odd that while all your recent customers are posting the same kinds of reviews of your customer service, none of their problems are ever your fault. People upset with your service *must* somehow be your competitors undermining you (by ... ordering from you? really?) -- please. Come up with a better reason you can't be bothered to fill orders in a timely fashion, update accounts (aside from "Increasing," which means nothing), or tell customers why. :(

Unfulfilled order with zero communication from company

I placed an order 2 weeks ago, and the status of my order has not changed since that time. The status is "INCREASING", but not sure what that means. I have been trying to cancel this order the the last 4 days, however there is not an option to do so online, and nobody has returned my messages. I have even tried calling, but their auto-attendant says that they are not accepting calls at this time, and that I have to send a message, which leaves me back at square one. No help, no support and a charge for merchandise that I have no faith that I will ever receive. I am at a dead end. I would love to talk to someone at the company to resolve this issue, but that seems increasingly unlikely at this point. Extremely poor customer service. As if they don't really care.

UPDATE: WRHardware just responded to my review with a complete fiction. My order was not canceled and stayed in "Increasing" status. I have never spoken to anyone from this company, and have never received a reply to my emails which have been very courteous. Whoever is responsible for these replies is obviously not a customer service professional. All of their responses are defensive and rude. Being over a team of customer service professionals myself, I would never reduce myself to "cursing" and "abusive language". It is strange that the first communication I received is after placing a negative review on a public site. I would have been fine with my order being canceled. The only thing that I would have preferred is any communication at all, or at least a response to my messages.

The company did finally refund my purchase and stated that it had been canceled due to low stock, but only after I had posted my initial review here.

I thought this experience was over, but this morning, I awoke to a voicemail from someone at this company calling me names and making comments about my house, which I can only construe as a threat. I have submitted my information along with a copy and record of this voicemail to the Better Business Bureau, and am contemplating legal action. This is utterly unacceptable behavior from any company representative.

First, you were notified in advance. Your 10.49 order was ALREADY CANCELLED. You were so difficult and rude when you spoke to our customer service staff that we cancelled your order for you. After 43 years you really think we want to keep your 10.49? You are upset because WE are the ones that cancelled your order for you. Our representatives do not have to put up with cursing and abusive language and there is no need to use that type of language to accomplish your goal. It's easy to come a forum that is not monitored such as this and bully companies and say whatever comes to mind.

Placed an order on April 30

Placed an order on April 30, 2020 and my order status is listed as "increasing". I have contacted them in writing twice to ask for clarification and when my order will ship as it is listed as being in stock. I have had no response from this company. This morning I tried contacting them by phone but all you hear is an automated recording and then it hangs up. What kind of customer service is this? My order was placed for my elderly parents and if this company cannot deliver, then I need a refund asap so that I can find this product for my parents elsewhere.

If you refuse to act professional and provide working outlets for customers to contact you, then maybe you shouldn't be in business. As for you issuing a refund, we shall see if the money is actually credited back to the original payment method.

Yes, and you were sent an email stating that your (1) Bathroom Tissue was on factory back-order and had no date so you were given a refund and the computer sent you a confirmation such as shown below. You ordered on April 30th and your email was sent on April 1st. You give us a bad review when this is your mistake. Please review your emails as another confirmation was sent to you today. Check your spam folder as well. Also, the message states exactly what to do and the procedure for contacting us during this crisis. An email WAS sent as it is always but I will not argue in this forum. Your money had been refunded. We have been in business over 43-years and only have a handful of hateful customers such as you which is astounding for the amount of customers we have. I wish you luck on finding happiness in life April.

If I could give a 0 I would. I placed an order on 3/25/2020, it was supposed to ship within 7 business days, now it is 4/16, and I have not received my order. I sent messages and noone had responded. I just want to cancel the order at this point, very bad way to do buisness!!!

First of all I sent you ppl 2 messages in regards to the order status saying "increasing" as to what that meant, and noone bother to explain. And it takes for me to write a negative review in reg. To your costumer service for you to respond. I am very much aware of what is going on in the world, as I've lost friend to this, and I understood that it would've taken some time, all I was asking for was CLARIFICATION, which I never got.
But whatever, thank you for cancelling the order.

Still haven’t received order-It’s been 4 weeks

It’s been 4 weeks since I placed my order for toilet paper! I received 1 email confirming the order and nothing since. I’ve tried contacting via their online contact form 4X and have never received a response. They do not answer their phones either? Very disappointed and frustrated

They say "in stock" when it IS NOT

This company listed products as "in stock" when they clearly were not. After waiting a couple of weeks, I sent an email. Nothing. I then called and got voicemail, where I left a message. I got a message back saying "We'll ship when we have the product." Another 2 weeks went by and I got a refund notice. Extremely poor service. Sure I know all about difficulties during COVID-19. So don't list products as "in stock" if they are not! And by the way, when I ordered it, there was no notice about COVID-19, and mention of shortage. It was listed as "in stock". You may have added language later but that did not help me at the time as a paying customer.

Now you are trying to lie once again and say this is not a real order. Maybe you should check Thursday Apr 2 at 4:11pm when your merchant account send me the refund receipt. That's what I list above. It's a refund receipt from WR Hardware I also have a screenshot of the original order which I tried to paste in here but Trustpilot does not allow links. You took my money, lied about having the product, were unresponsive for weeks and weeks, and then you don't even recognize your own merchant account's refund protocols. Maybe go into another line of business.

"Jonathan", we don't even know if you are a customer or a competitor so we could resolve issues with you. I would suggest emailing the customer service manager terry@wrhardware.com if you are truly a customer so this could be resolved.

If you are legitimate perhaps you have the wrong company because that is not any of our Reference Numbers. We have tried the dollar amount, date, and even the time in our system but to no avail. Nice try. You honestly think we would say "We'll ship when we have the product?" We asked you to contact terry@wrhardware.com and we will be glad to address any of your concerns or answer questions otherwise we must consider this unknown as it is coming from organic sources on the internet and can't be qualified.

WR Hardware took my money and on April 6th said they were giving a refund. Nasty people.

WR Hardware took my money. They will not pickup the phone nor do they respond to emails. I paid to receive my order through UPS. I placed my order on March 24th. I will be calling my credit card company to reverse the charges. I noticed their Facebook page is not updated. I thought this was a good company.

Now that I've thanked the true heroes, it amazes me that a select few out of the thousands and thousands of customers per week we have are completely lost when it comes to the state of the country. We sent you an email asking you if you wanted this and you have yet to responds so we cancelled your order as we just received 4200 cases in our warehouse. Your money is completely refunded. We are grabbing things such as this from manufacturers as soon as they become available. BTW, we have been completely open about the fact how to contact us during this COVID-19 crisis.

Fraud!

Placed an order. Was charged for the order. No response from customer service! No products sent. This is FRAUD! Refund my money or ship my items or I will file case.

Response: Called and sent messages through your website. No response. Also, no email from you. BTW...not an angry person.

Received a statement today stating I would receive a refund. Time will tell.

wrhardware.com is one of the worst companies to deal with-

I placed an order with this company recently and I give them a -1 opinion on their company. They had Curad anti-viral medical masks marked down to $6.79 for a box of 10. So, I ordered 10 boxes plus a few office supplies. They took my order, billed me twice and then disregarded my order, as if it never happened. It is even hard to get on their website and order. I called their phone number and the woman didn't tell me my order was canceled and was very rude.
Do NOT order anything from this company. Bogus comes to mind.

Extremely LONG and poor service, Customers shielded from Owner contact

Company is extremely secretive about management. They forgot about my order for about 3 months and when I finally called to follow-up they said they didn't have the chanel balance I sent them months earlier. When they finally tracked it down (and had it) they NEVER apologized but said they originally quoted me wrong and I needed to pay more. Instead of just adding the additional amount, they had to refund my original payment and start all over. Order took EVEN LONGER. When asked to speak to the owner or for owners email, they refused. If you want your order in a timely manner, this is definitely NOT the company you want to use. The only good thing I can say about the order is the price and that the parts fit. The service and time was terrible.

According to the emails, we stopped you from ordering the incorrect parts and we state on our website that Caldwell window balances are a special order. Also, the credit card system would not allow an additional charge, it only allows a refund first. That is not our rule it is the credit card companies. We receive almost one hundred samples a week but it is rare to misplace one but we obviously found it for you and am sorry for the mistake. I'm glad you are happy with the price and we were able to make sure you did not order the incorrect parts as our Parts Department caught the error on your initial order online. We received your order for the channel balances however; the ends that you had chosen is not the correct ones. Since you have that yours is stamped Caldwell they are special ends and we do not show them on the website. We are needing one of your channel balances sent into us as a sample, so we can properly identify for you. We are needing one that the top and bottom plastic pieces are not broke.
