WOW CAME TO MY HOUSE WITHOUT MY…

WOW CAME TO MY HOUSE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE & TRIED RUNNING CABLE IN MY YARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY. MY HUSBAND WENT OUTSIDE & ASKED THEM WHAT THEY WERE DOING & THEY GAVE HIM SOME BS ABOUT BEING AT THE WRONG HOUSE. THEY ARE LYING PEOPLE. THEY DISCONNECTED MY SPECTRUM INTERNET WHILE I WAS WORKING WHICH IS WHAT PROMPTED MY HUSBAND TO GO OUTSIDE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I THINK I’M GOING TO GET ME AN ATTORNEY TO SUE THEM. WHAT IF WE WEREN'T HOME?! LYING THIEVING PEOPLE!

I was connected to Frances through my cousin Kimmy…

I was connected to Frances through my cousin Kim. I am very thankful. Frances is a blessing that came into my life at the right time because I felt poisoned with all the medications I was taking. I feel so liberated now that I followed Frances recommendations after only 5 weeks. She is an angel in disguise. I would recommend her to anyone who are on medications for digestion and diagnosed with diseases before you get to where I brought my body. At first it might not be easy but it is so worth it. Don’t hesitate! Do it! I am feeling so much better and finding myself again
Thank you Kim and Frances

The worse nightmare ever!!

The worse nightmare ever!!! Don't ever go with this company. I started the service with Wow, the installer came to my house and i ask him like i did asked before the sales person if the can install the internet in my office, she said yes and it will be free, well, the installer said that its not possible unless I'm willing to pay $75 for installation, i said no thank you, cancel everything, the guy was outside talking on the phone with his manager and came back very nice and told me that the installation is possible and it will be free, he finish the installation and before he left he said: i hope i didn't drill your pipe, so i thought he was joking, so i said: yes i hope not. Then 2 weeks later, water started to come up from from the floor, i checked the place where he drilled and there was a hole in the pipe, the water damage the walls with moisture and also the floor, they put a guy on charge of my claim and the guy told me to pay out of pocket for the repair of the pipe, he told me to send him the receipts and the pictures and i did, and every time i call the person in charge he said he is waiting for the manager, i end up calling the main line and they said that the person in charge of my claim it's been removed and they will assign another person, they haven't assign anybody yet, i keep calling and waiting a response from a manager and nothing happens, everyone is washing their hands and i been left with all the damage on my house, this people are not professionals at all, i wish i never changed providers. Please choose any company but this.

Never do business with Wow Internet

Never do business with Wow Internet. When I closed my business, they charged me $589.62 to cancel my services as an early cancellation fee. I had been with them for 3 years. Absolutely disgusting and outrageous.

Bad bad bad. Modem was really slow. The technician came and swap out the modem. Was told that there is no charge. Later, I got charged $64 for technician visit. I called back they agree to take it off. But they didn't I still got charge on my bill. Big company but is bad very bad. Don't keep their words. I have to make many calls. Spending at least 8 hours ever since I signed up with them for a small things like that. I am very speachless. I will change to other company after taking care of this stupid thing.

Wow for harassment, insults and illegal sales practices

Being in sales myself, I have a lot of respect for people trying to do their job.

However, I have never seen such a poor service: they harass you on the phone to sell you services (you don't need or want - multiple calls a week), use illegal sales practices including not respecting your data privacy, hiding you some costs from their mobile plan, asking your banking details on the phone (inc. credit card CVC) to close deals you have not agreed to.

Last but not least: their offer includes free insults when you ask them respectfully to stop calling.

I better understand why you cannot give a review neither on Google or Facebook. I would have given a negative score if I could.

Terrible customer service!!!

Terrible customer service!!!! ….Yesterday the technician was installing Woow internet at my house, they used my hose in the back of my house and didn’t close it all the way so the water was running out for more than 24 hours, I’m sure my bill is going to be very high, when I called customer service they told me that I will get $5 off the bill, I told them that that won’t worked for me, I asked for $20 off my bill they said $16 and refuse to let me talk to a manager, so they preferred to lost a client over $4 dollars

A lady I met told me the phone was free she never explained what she meant by free phone she only told me the company was giving out free phone Her name is Janvi.. Now I want to return the free phone, I was told I have to pay $700 after five months of paying $58 each month. They rip new comers that don’t understand how the system works. If I should regret anything in this life it is having anything to do with wow mobile. No work structure no human sympathy just ripping people off for no reason. Don’t even go there unless you know how the system works. It’s unfortunate there is no zero review that will suit them best. The branch is at 25 West mall Z1278

Signed up for $60/month service

Signed up for $60/month service. Billed $75 as month. They told me that is just for the first month but my bill states it is recurring and confirms I already signed up for auto debit payments which were supposed to give me the $10 discount. It says in large print on their website right under the monthly price "NO HIDDEN FEES"....lol. This company would do so much better if they didn't try to screw people and just tried to provide good service. Fire the CEO.

After years of service It still works great

I used Comcast for years and then switched to Wow to try it out since Comcast can be a nightmare to deal with. After a few years of service with Wow I started having laggy internet and it would cut out sometimes. I just dealt with it since Comcast was always such a pain to deal with I thought they were all like that and I just didn't have the patience for it.
About 3 months later a Wow knocked at my door and asked if I was having any issues. They said they were driving around and checking signal strength in the area and picked up how bad it was from the street.
It turned out I had a loose connection on the modem. The dog and cat knocked it loose chasing each other around like maniacs. I still can't believe it. They came to me and and fixed my problem without me even calling them. I find that pretty amazing.
Aside that one issue, which was actually my fault, my service has worked perfectly.

false advertising

Watch out wow sold me a bundle package with 1G internet and youtube tv at a discounted rate for 1 year instead of a 6 month discounted rate through youtube tv, they are telling me now that I have to change my email and sign up with youtube tv with a different email and its up to youtube tv if they will honor the discount, so wow is false advertising.

beware WOW!-ISP, price increase 50%

got a good offer from WOW!-ISP [Dec2022], i moved over to them from AT&T-Fiber, even though i knew WW was co-axial based. while they said i'd get "1G", i immediately noticed slower speeds. initial price was 65$ [w/HBO] and in 14 months i was paying 95$. when i complained about the excessive jackup in only +1 year their answer was to decrease my bill by decreasing my speed to 750M. when i turned them off, they hit me with a ridiculous 90$ disconnect fee. wowway is nothing but a rip off, co-ax vs fiber slower, don't take the bait.
