Batteries die very quickly

I wouldn't waste your money on this product. The batteries just don't last!

I purchased the cordless lawnmower and within the FIRST WEEK one of the batteries completely died. This is identified by a solid red light when you try to charge the battery. The lawnmower was replaced completely by Argos as they couldn't just send a replacement battery.

I have just tried to charge the batteries again (first charge since winter) and AGAIN one of the batteries won't charge, despite them being stored in my utility room over winter.

I contacted Worx, as product is advertised with 2 years warranty. However you only get 1 year on the batteries (seems they know they don't last).

So unless you're willing to constantly replace the batteries (current cost at time of writing £40 EACH) I'd shop elsewhere.

Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...waitin

I purchased a string edger/trimmer from Worx and twice not the part that you would think is the least important has broken and you realize that without that piece the whole tool is useless.
What is this piece, the little half inch razor blade that cuts the fishing line when it gets too long.

The last time, Worx reacted correctly when they did not have the piece in stock and the sent me the whole assembly.

This time, it's been over 4.5 months and they/I am still waiting for the piece. They offer nothing to get me anything that can work.

Terrible customer service and even more terrible inventory control.

I would not buy from this company again.

i received an advertisement from worx

i received an advertisement from worx, who i've bought from on several occasions. their ad said, up to 25% off of everything. that is false advertising, since 25% off is only for items over $200. the implication of their ad is that there are some items which cost under $200 that have the 25% off. their ad should have said, 'everything on sale with the maximum percentage off of 25% applying to items costing over $200.'

Love the Work tools

Love the Work tools. Don't confuse them with the brand Aldi sell. Started with the impact driver, brilliant and still going strong 6 years later. Now I have the hammer drill, nail gun which is amazing, multi tool pretty good , slammer drill, work lamp, small circular saw which good but the needs more power. The bigger circular saw just kept stopping I don't recommend that one. But all other tools have been great and good quality.
And I have the jetwash but not used it much yet.

Purchased a 40V LEAFJET Blower directly from WORX, and noticed it was either a floor model or previous customer returned product. Was furious that Worx would ship a used product in lieu of a brand new product, and I had paid full price for a new product. So, I returned it and asked for to exchange a new product. Received product day before XMas, and alas! It also is a used product!! Would never trust Worx again. I’d rather step in HD or Lowes and by a Ryobi, or Dewalt, etc.

WORX small electric chainsaw no spare parts

I bought a WORX small electric chainsaw from Wickes a couple of years ago. The oil pressure bulb split and I contacted Worx for a replacement. After several emails they said they don't have spare parts for it, so the whole chainsaw is now scrap! Bad environmental performance and user care. Won't be buying any of their products again!

service vs product

i wrote a review on the Worx site but it looks like it never made it on. First off i love the products , have bought a few and have recommended them to friends and will likely continue to do so. However, my last experience with support to say the least was underwhelming. ( I have the transcript). I bought another product that I took a while to get around to using and realized (did not even use it) that it was not what I had anticipated and asked if I could return it and purchase a different one. The agent was arrogant, uncooperative and made no attempt to help as the product was a week or so out of their return policy. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor; no go. I have had a business for over 30 years and always put the client first and insisted on telling the staff job one was client satisfaction. So here is the deal Workz: train your employees to do that and step outside the box if need be and continue to make good products and "listen" to your customer and find a way to make things work.

worx leaf blower/collector

I'd had a worx leaf blower/collector for about 10 years and replaced it with their latest model. Unfortunately, they've made a number of changes to the design, most of which are negative. The new bag release is great but the mechanism to remove the blower tube is impossible to work, the bag now has a zip on the bottom only, so the leaves don't drop out and the leaf blower is absolutely hopeless - there is no point in using it. I'm really disappointed, mostly because they had a great product and have thrown it away. Do not waste your money on this.

Worx warranty pointless

Bought a bauker drill from toolstation. Turns out worxs responsibility for repairs and warranty.

After 12 months ish it caught fire and died.

Emails and collected fairly quickly for repair.

This is where the trouble started.

After a patient wait on a verdict i emailed to find out the status.

The drill was unrepairable. They had no replacements and couldn't source a like for like.

So i was offered a cheque instead.

No Idea the amount etc ...

I thought not much of it. Waited a week or so no cheque, no contact from worx.

Emailed again. Average of 28 working days for cheques to be processed whatever that means.

28 days go by. Nothing.

Another email. Get a response quickly. They have had technical issues authorising cheques! Hopefully few days to sort ...

No eta on the actual cheque arrival.

Fed up now. Got 2 batteries and a charger as they only wanted the body to repair.

Although toolstation selling the complete kit still in a few variations ....

But cannot find a bauker body or compatible.

So the moral is, check who underwrites what you buy.

May receive a cheque one day buy doubtful, bank transfer or a gift card be accepted tbh.

Anything really.

Pure garbage, both products and customer service.

Purchase a Worx lawn mower in August 2020, which was used only 3 times that year. In the summer of 2021 went to use the lawn mower and nothing worked (batteries fully charged). Called Support after trouble shooting they informed me they would replace my lawn mower. 3 months later (thanks to my neighbours for lending me their mower), I sent an email requesting the status of my replacment mower. no reply. 3 weeks later I sent another email, this time threating legal action. Guess what, I received a reply stating: My model is discontuned and they would send me a refund in two weeks...a month later nothing. Stay away from these guys purchase a stihl battery mower instead. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

BAD BAD COMPANY AND WORST PRODUCTS

Please save your money and do not buy products from this brand. Bought items and when they stopped working I contacted the worx helpline. 4 months later 15 emails later and now they will not respond to me. Cheap tatty equipment and shame on shops for distributing these faulty tools. I just cannot express how annoyed with this company and there staff. Not worth anymore of my time and effort Cut my loses. Paid €250 in Argos and they say it’s not down to them either.

Worx- WG779E (Grass Trimmer)

Worx- WG779E (Grass Trimmer)
I recently bought a grass trimmer- Worx- WG779E and it's horrible and has many problems.
The two batteries (40V) have not necessary power to make it run and it keeps turning off. The lever for adjusting the grass height comes out of its place and you can also adjust it only in one position. The cut grass don't go to the bag and most of them leave on the ground.
So it's absolutely piece of junk and never buy it.

Best product ever

Bought my husband a Jaw saw for pruning and cutting tree limbs. Perfect product. Battery operated and strong. Sure beats trying to start a chain saw. He used it when my friend was here and she liked it so much she got one from Worx. She's not a big person but she uses hers a lot.

They charge you $7.00 for shipping and handling. They are very light so it doesn't cost them that much and they won't let you buy more than 1 at a time, so they can charge you $7.00 each time. THEY ARE NOT FREE. Canadian, What do you expect. CROOKS!!!
