How it Works
1.Order and Proxy Purchase
Request purchase of items from online shops in Japan using the WorldShopping cart.
(Products from online shops that do not display this cart can be requested through a separate request form).
Upon receiving an order, WorldShopping will purchase the ordered items on behalf of the customer at the online shop.
2. Product Arrival and Confirmation
All orders are sent to the WorldShopping warehouse.
Upon arrival, items will be unpacked, checked according to the "order information", and packaged for international shipping.
3. Preparations Completed Email Notice
The international shipping charges will be determined after the packing process has been completed (on average within 1 to 3 business days of receipt).
An e-mail is then sent to the customer to inform the international shipping and handling fees and payment method.
4.International Shipping Payment and Shipment
Customer follows the payment instructions in the email to process payment. The order will be shipped after payment is completed.
(Expect the package to be dispatched the following business day, within two business days at the latest.)
5.Wait for delivery!
The package will be delivered by EMS (Express Mail Service) 7~20 days after shipment.

It's OK for what they are/do
It's OK for what they are/do, however total costs for *their services ; *secondary shipping charges ; *import charges are rather expensive, makes one think/guessing of the total costs before buying, that are impossible to estimate accurately, without a way to cancel purchase half-way through

Fast and clear communication
Fast and clear communication, helped me out when the seller was out of stock of an item I ordered and communicated with the seller to have them ship the item once it was back in stock rather than cancelling my order. Held all my items then shipped them to me in a well-packaged box. The entire process was very smooth and the price was reasonable. I would definitely use World Shopping again the next time I buy clothes from Japan.

Easy to use and fast delivery
It was very easy to use. The shipping was under $40 and the communication on how my package was doing was very good. I got constant updates on where it was and it even came a week before I thought it would. Definitely would use again when I want a new bag or outfit!

Lack of price transparency
At each step of the purchase, new fares and costs appeared... First for sending it to Europe - a rough estimate when paying for the items at first would be welcomed - then taxes fees who recently were added to ship items to Europe and extra fees by the transporter - same here, a rough tax estimate and fees could be given when purchasing.
At the end, for a 30$ worth of items, I paid almost 100$ for items, taxes and transportation.
What's more, I had no say in the company doing the delivery, they choose DHL for me, which arbitrarily added 20€ fees.
