Milo Winter, the pen name of the founder of World of Gardian LLC, took preorder money for Age of Scorpius and has since failed his customers at every turn.

Around 2,000 people ordered a special first-edition copy. Before it arrived, they were told - not asked - that their orders were being switched to a revised second edition, which was later cancelled. A separate group who ordered the standard second edition are in the same position. Nearly four months later, roughly 2,100 people have no book and no refund, and the LLC's own language — promising refunds to "anyone who wants one" rather than guaranteeing them outright — may constitute a violation of federal consumer protection law.

Their Patreon continued charging during all of this, rebranded as a "tip jar" despite offering no new content, or delivering on any of their previous promises. The cancellation post drew 150+ comments from customers asking about refunds and reporting that emails were going unanswered — those comments were turned off, and the Patreon has since purged comments as well. You can still view the post at the free level, unless they delete that as well. Customers are still being directed to a "refund queue" with no timeline or guarantee.

The author has gone silent across every platform. No responses, no updates, no accountability. Many folks lost money and have nowhere to turn for any relief.

Regarding The Age of Scorpius,

About 2,000 people ordered a special copy of the first edition of this book, and before they received their copies, they were told that their order would be changed to a second, revised edition of the book, without their permission or consent. Some months later, this second edition was cancelled, and these 2,000 people have been left with no product and no refund for nearly four months, with no updates on if a refund will occur at all. Several dozen people who ordered a base version of the second edition are also without a refund.

The founder of the company, who goes by the pen name Milo Winter, took preorder money for his book The Age of Scorpius, and delivered a substandard product. Furthermore, he has refused to refund 2100 people who have ordered the special edition of his book.

The World of Gardian, LLC Patreon page recently purged all comments -- including asking about refunds for nondelivery of product. Instead customers or are directed to enter a "refund queue." The website and company are breaking federal law by stating refunds will be provided to "anyone who wants one" instead of guaranteeing a refund.
