Have had 2 scans with Window to the womb for my pregnancy now and can't fault the service.The booking system is easy to use and price is reasonable considering this is a private service. The staff at the clinic are very friendly and explain what will happen at your appointment and all through the scan process too. I will likely be back for a 3rd scan for the 4D service once my bump has grown bigger.

We have been to window to the womb for a couple of scans and can’t fault them. The team were so friendly, welcoming and told us everything about the scan. Got plenty of lovely scan photos. Would definitely recommend.

Window to the womb Middlesbrough have been fantastic during both of my pregnancy’s 5 years ago with my little and now with my little girl the staff all remembered who we were when we went in for the scan of my little girl! They all welcomed us with a warm smile! Lee is absolutely fantastic and never took a smile off his face and interacted with my little boy while we waited to go into the scan room!

The whole team absolutely spoilt us including the scanographer thankyou so so much we even had a quick 4D glance that made us all cry happy tears we saw our baby's little face so so cute. Thankyou all so so so so much roll on our 4D scan we prebooked and got a huge chunk taken off the price for only a £10 deposit 😀 we all can't thankyou all enough. The best team ever ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We honestly cannot put into words how much we love Window to the Womb Stockport. ❤️
We actually live closer to other branches but our journey with the Stockport team started back in 2022 during our first pregnancy. We initially travelled there because we needed to see family the same day but after our very first visit, we knew we wanted to stay with them. The kindness, warmth and genuine care we received from the team made such a lasting impression on us that we continued going back throughout our entire pregnancy.

Now four years later in 2026, We are expecting our second baby and there was never any doubt that we would return to Stockport. It genuinely feels like coming back to people we already know and trust during such a special and emotional time in our lives. 🥹❤️

Dylan recognising us from 2022 honestly meant more than he probably realised. To think that after all those years he remembered us made us feel so special and reminded us that we aren't just another appointment or another family walking through the door. Those little moments mean everything.

Chloe… where do we even begin? There have been moments where pregnancy has made me doubt myself and not always feel my best and Chloe has this incredible ability to know exactly what to say. She has made me feel good about myself when I really needed it and her kindness has stayed with me long after leaving the appointment. Sometimes it's about how the people around you make you feel while you're experiencing something so incredibly emotional and personal. Chloe has been amazing at that.

Vivian is an absolute ray of sunshine! ☀️ Her positivity and warmth are infectious and she has a way of making every visit feel exciting and happy. Even when things get serious, You can genuinely feel how much she loves what she does.

And we absolutely have to mention Amber and Julie too who have both been wonderful and have made our experiences so special in our visits being super welcoming and friendly. ❤️

Every single one of you are incredible at what you do but it's the compassion, kindness and genuine care you show that makes the Stockport team so special. You've been part of two of the biggest and most precious chapters of our lives and we honestly couldn't be more grateful.

Thank you for remembering us. Thank you for making us feel welcome. Thank you for making us smile when we needed it. And thank you for helping make both of our pregnancy journeys even more special than they already are.

Amazing,friendly and caring service. Highly recommend! The staff were lovely and even fitted me in an hour earlier as i was feeling anxious. Very thorough during scan and afterwards I was given several pictures to choose from :) will be definitely booking in for future appointments! Thankyou to the team that I saw today!!

Helpful staff and great service.

A little difficult to find from the instructions, but otherwise excellent!

I’ve been to the clinic twice already, the first time for my first baby and the second time for my second baby, both times were for a 4D scan that went amazingly well, they offer also offer HD resolution pictures that are incredible and on top of that I got heartbeat plushies for both my babies.

The staff were so warm and accommodating. The sonographer was friendly and was kind enough to take another try for us to have a good 4D picture of our angel. The place is child friendly. All praises for the good experience.

Left feeling distressed rather than reassured

We paid £100 for an early viability scan following a previous miscarriage and left feeling dismissed, frightened and unsupported.

The sonographer, C. Obayi, told us he couldn’t tell whether the pregnancy had stopped developing or whether it was simply too early, and laughed while saying this. There was very little explanation, my husband was barely acknowledged, and the appointment felt rushed. When dealing with families who could potentially be receiving devastating news, I found this lack of compassion completely unacceptable.

I later attended NHS maternity services, where everything was explained calmly and compassionately and the pregnancy was measuring appropriately for the early stage. I have since spoken to multiple NHS maternity staff across different units who advised me not to return to this clinic, which has understandably further damaged my confidence in the service.

The clinic did apologise following my complaint and offered £30 off another scan, which I appreciate. However, clinical qualifications were never my concern — communication, compassion and the way we were treated were.

I would not return following this experience.
