I went to the service department at…Wilkerson Chevolet Buick Cadillac Make it make sense
I went to the service department at Wilkinson in Sanford. When you make an appointment on line they ask you to chose the person you want as your rep why? I did not get that person. I got Thomas Carpenter I went to get my tires rotated oil change filter change and most importantly my power steering serviced because my car indicated it needed to be serviced. Before I could get to see a rep this young lady said we would not be able to do your power steering today, "we could test to see if something is wrong for a 135 dollars is that something you would be interested in" I said do I have a choice. First of all I included that in my appointment if you knew you could not do that why did you not call me and let me know you could not do it that day. I drove almost a hour to get there. Very shortly after a male rep came and told me that the test indicated no error codes. I insisted because my car said constantly that my power steering needed servicing and I told him they made a mistake I could feel in driving it that something was wrong with the power steering that they needed to drive it. Its a sad day when a non mechanic has to tell you that. Guess what after driving it he came and told me I had in the high hundreds of dollars in damage. I said so you charged me 135.00 for something that indicated nothing was wrong then you drive it after I insist and my car tells you something is wrong to the tune of hundreds of dollars. What I was really upset about is that 135 dollars of nothing when all you had to do is drive it like a mechanic should. I had to have according to them fixed DTC CO56D YAW SENSOR DEFECTIVE Replaced I was there from 0945 until 1615 to the tune of 1068.34 in total apparently my car tells you what's wrong and those diagnostic code test don't work thank God I insisted something was wrong or I would have paid 135.00 for nothing which takes less then 5 minutes. Oh and I had got my left side spray nozzle knocked off by mistake at home I asked if they could fix it. The part cost 21-23 dollars it was going to be 186.00 according to Mr. Thomas when I asked why he said they come in pairs I said why would I want to pay for something that's not broke because it comes in a pair. Make all this make sense Please somebody.
