Thank you so much Wikivorce for your support and affordability
I was recommended Wikivorce by the Citizen Advice Bureau as I did not have the budget to afford expensive solicitors. I am so glad to have used Wikivorce, being able to go through a divorce process at a fixed cost was a lifesaver for me. I knew exactly from the start how much I will be spending and no unexpected expenses were ever added. The quality of the service is also very high: online appointment, support with drafting a consent order, etc… Thank you so much Wikivorce for all your support and affordability which meant so much to me. Going through a divorce is mentally difficult enough already to add financial worries on top of it!
A huge thank you to Nicola at Wikivorce
I highly recommend Wikivorce for anyone navigating a financial settlement. Nicola was a huge help, ensuring I stayed on track with the extensive documentation. The key thing to know is that this is a DIY-assisted service; if you aren't happy to manage your own paperwork, it won't be a good fit. Because they are busy, you sometimes need to improvise under time pressure, but the trade-off is incredible. I saved roughly £30,000 compared to using a traditional solicitor. Five stars for the value and expertise.
I have been very impressed with the services provided and the staff.
I have been very impressed with the services provided, from the very start of the process wirh the free consultation to the services from the solicitor. All advice and instructions are clear and concise as well as professional and personal, which is crucial when supporting people at such challenging times in their lives. The fixed prices are extremely competitive and take away the stress of worrying how much legal fees are adding up to. I cannot recommend enough.
Trust worthy, cost effective and timely
Ruth the client care manager has been excellent in supporting my niece through a difficult divorce. The mediator was good but hard to contact and the legal firm used for the financial consent order was good. Overall the divorce worked out less than half the cost of a solicitor and most of that was getting the consent order into legal language for court. I would thoroughly recommend this service as cost effective and timely. It doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg to talk to someone like Ruth who was knowledgeable, kind but frank. A service you can trust during a horrible time of your life.
I can’t recommend Wikivorce highly…
I can’t recommend Wikivorce highly enough. I was dealing with the financial side of my divorce and had already wasted £840 with a solicitor who did nothing more than send two letters to my ex, so I decided to move on.
That decision made all the difference. Ian, the consultant I worked with, was extremely professional and his knowledge was far superior to my ex’s lawyer. His position statement was outstanding and ultimately earned me around 60% more than I expected.
The results speak for themselves — my ex spent around £15,000, while I spent about £2,000 and achieved a far better outcome. Wikivorce provided expert guidance, clarity, and real value for money when I needed it most. I’m genuinely grateful for their help.
You do not need a Solicitor to get divorced - but you do need WikiVorce experts
At the start of my divorce journey I had a bad experience with a solicitor - charging me £1,000 to retype my Form E with spelling mistakes and £28 every time to answer an email. I sacked them and then used Wikivorce after a recommendation.
The Divorce process is actually quite simple, but intimidating and there is paperwork. It is possible to do the whole process yourself – if you can competently open and read emails and write Word documents.
BUT you need guidance and hand holding – this is where Wikivorce come in – they offer a very cost effective way of getting advice – on 20-30 minute calls whenever you need them – on a pay as you go basis.
YOU DO NOT NEED A SOLICITOR TO GET A DIVORCE – just do it yourself – including the finance consent order – but you do need Wikivorce to help and guide you.
I even went through the court process on my own.
The hardest thing was creating the court bundle – but there are youtube videos to advise and just pay for one month of Adobe Premiere premium – it was just a bit of a faff.
My process took 4.5 years all together – Ian from Wikivorce provided with me with guidance as and when I needed it – and I’m almost at the finish line.
THANK YOU WIKIVORCE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I can’t thank Ruth enough for all her help throughout my divorce. I wasn’t expecting the level of service and support she provided — she truly went above and beyond. Ruth was always available to answer my questions, no matter how small, and made a very difficult process much easier to handle. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine care made all the difference. I highly recommend her to anyone going through a similar situation.
I cannot praise my consultant
I cannot praise my consultant, Nicola enough going through the worst divorce for the last nearly 5 years has been the most stressful thing I’ve ever been through then when I found Nicola, it took a lot of stress off me she was there for me for advice help with paperwork from the FDA, FDR rights of the final hearing there were times when I could’ve just give up but with Nicola’s encouragement, I carried on whether it was a email or a phone call. She was always there and I can’t thank her enough. I thought really hard right to the end for what I thought would be in my son‘s best interest as he is autistic, and it paid off at the final hearing so thank you, Nicole I would recommend wiki voice to anyone. Who is struggling going through a divorce and I definitely recommend Nicola.
My consultant Nicola was very…
My consultant Nicola was very professional, available to speak to and very knowledgeable and experienced. She gave me a lot of practical advice that really helped to settle at FDR, the case would have gone to final hearing with heavy costs and 1-2 years additional waiting time were saved, thank God, all settled now and consent order is on the way. I will highly recommend wikivorce. Thanks Nicola
Avoid this company
Avoid this company. It is ironic that a medication company would be so poor at communication but I have been chasing for an update since May and have heard nothing. Avoid, Wikivorce will only make your divorce process more stressful.
Highly recommend Wikivorce
Representing yourself can be quite daunting, but if you have no choice, then I cannot recommend Wikivorce highly enough. From the moment I contacted Wikivorce I felt I was in safe hands. They were professional, supportive and compassionate throughout my financial remedy.
They guided me through the process to enable me to do it, I know I couldn’t have got through this process without them. I managed to settle a financial remedy at a fraction of the cost and paid as and when I needed their help.
Thank you Wikivorce, you were brilliant!
Nicola was extremely knowledgeable and helpful
Nicola was extremely knowledgeable and did everything she could to help me in a particularly difficult case.
Ian helped us reach a fair agreement
Ian helped us come to a fair agreement during our financial negotiations, after we hit a wall trying to agree things ourselves.
I would recommend this service because it saved us thousands in legal fees to come to an agreement, however I would also point out a few negatives.
Response times are incredibly slow. I had to chase and chase and chase some more to exchange financial statements. In the end it was only done when I threatened to go elsewhere.
Generally I think the admin side of things let's them down. Our mediator was pretty much uncontactable and it was very difficult to get any kind of help or response to queries.
When we booked mediation we were told Zoom call details would be sent round 24 hours before, but this never happened and before every session I was ringing the helpline to get dial in details, which would arrive 5 mins beforehand. It made a very stressful time just that bit more stressful.
I also think they need to find an alternative to the mediator typing notes up during the session as it slows things down massively. We would have covered more in this session if we could have had a free flow of conversation, instead of long pauses waiting for notes to be typed. Maybe have a admin person on the call taking minutes?
As I say, overall I would recommend rhe service as we reached an agreement, but the admin issues did cause some problems.
Misandrist.
Can't comment on their actual legal services, but the forum is mainly (like 95%) female, who are all egging each other on and telling each other manipulative ways to get what they can and make the most money they can from the divorce. If you are male... I would stay away, it's really not very friendly to men on there and is very obviously a bit of a 'club for the girls' waving the misandry flag.
Stay clear…I had written a review but…
Stay clear…I had written a review but it has been taken off. Divorce is a very emotional time and unfortunately Wikivorce added more stress to the situation. My husband and I were very quick to be able to arrange the initial appointment but were not able to arrange the joint appointment. I emailed and called 4 times to arrange this as the timing slots they provided did not work (literally 2 hours on a Tuesday afternoon in 4 weeks), but no response. It slowed our process no end. We ended up moving to another mediator. It was rude and very distressing. Save yourself and go with someone else.
From February 2023
From February 2023. I have utilized the divorce advice from a single advisor Mr Ian Rispin. Ian set out from the first telephone consultation, his strategy to achieve a fair financial outcome for me.
The advisor and the service never backed away from their client when it became clear this case would be decided in family court. This case was settled on the 13th Feb 2025.
I utilized PAYG 3 hourly sessions with Ian.
I lost count of the email’s I started to receive from solicitors representing my ex wife. Ian was confident that his approach to completing the forms would be enough to get my case to a hearing in the county court to settle finances. I attended both FDA and FDR alone, only Wikivorce had been involved with me, right up to the FDR hearing.
I sat opposite her counsel and faced the bench to hear the DDC judge direct to split assets 50/50 and a 25% pension share in my favor.
This was 4 X the offer to settle before we went before the judge.
No cost order was applied to myself although argued by my ex wife’s counsel.
I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and Wikivorce. He delivered what he said he would by utilizing skills and knowledge gained working in this field for many years. I never had resources but it didn’t matter because they have been more than covered by my settlement.
Thank you Ian
Never again club member
I used Nicola Phipps as my divorce…
I used Nicola Phipps as my divorce consultant and I can’t speak more highly of her. She was brilliant all the way through my case, which wasn’t straight forward but she knew how to handle it. My barrister said she is better than most solicitors. I highly recommend Nicola and Wikivorce. I really admire this service as Solicitors are so expensive. Without Nicolas help and guidance I don’t think I could have done it. Thank you!
Nicola Phipps is an amazing consultant
Nicola Phipps is an amazing consultant. She is so compassionate and so kind that she made an emotionally distressing time of my life so much easier to navigate. Kindness was not an afterthought with her. It was woven into the fabric of all her interactions. I highly recommend that anyone going through divorce consult with Nicola regardless of which side of the fence they are on. She will always give good and fair advice for a positive outcome. I am so grateful for her kind service and resourcefulness. Thank you Wikivorce. Taiwo Dairo
