He clearly understood our ideas, offered his own ideas for improvement and came up with a design that we really liked. Chris was very clear and thorough, and a quote was immediately produced from the design. A better experience with Wickes then with some other suppliers. Thank you Chris. 21

I went in with a idea of fitting my own hanging rails spoke to the loveliest chap called david who directed me to all the right places he assisted me in choosing everything from the rails and fitments to the correct size screws and raw plugs got me the correct handsaw to shorted for mention rails and the correct drill bit he then took everything to the till for me and rang it all through he gave me so much invaluable tips what a great service he has given me the confidence to attempt doing even more of my own day. I really needed some M4 35mm bolts to fit a TV to some new legs for a relative, of course that size is unavailable anywhere so snap-off screws should work (I hope). Could I find them? Er, no. Alex to the rescue, I'd never have thought of looking on the doorknobs and door furniture display. Thanks Alex! I've been in before for a specific item, in theory in stock, and walked away empty handed, but not this time.

Excellent service from start to finish. I felt i needed to write a review for the whole package. Swift order fast delivery not one misshaps. Well done wickes. I ordered compost so very heavy was brought to front door. No problems.

Do not use these people. Absolute comedians. You pay for a bathroom up front including a delivery fee. They then tell you to take a day off work so they can deliver when they want. Really? Who is the customer here. Avoid at all costs. I was warned about Wickes, I wish I’d listened

Excellent customer service during the recent purchase of a new kitchen. Store manager Mike initially saw us looking at the extensive in store kitchen display and chatted briefly about our project before introducing us to kitchen designer Chris. Chris has guided us through our evolving ideas with patience even when our “must have” list completely changed and required him to take time to rework the plan. At no point were we given a hard sell or felt pressurised into adding things that do not work for us and we are now delighted with the finalised plan and confident that the Wickes installation service will result in the kitchen of our dreams!

The store didn’t have what I wanted in stock, but Mo made sure I didn’t leave to try and order it myself. He sorted a delivery to my house before I left the store (and potentially bought something else from someone else). If this guy worked for me I’d be very happy with that activity.

We booked an appointment online to see the kitchen design specialist for our Utility @ Wickes, Clifton Moor, York.

We have to say that it’s not often that reality exceeds your expectation, but fair play, after 3 hours of detailed conversation, Chris had designed our new Utility, and it went so well we got him to design our new Kitchen too. Chris’s attention to detail and desire to help us achieve our objectives was immense.

Great all round experience, a great solution for us - Thank you Chris!

What a great set of staff, all helpful, got a decent reduction on a damaged item as well .Good selection of stock.

Great initial meeting. Joshua really knows his stuff and gave us some excellent advice about things we hadn’t thought of or considered. Also gave us an idea of realistic pricing which we appreciated.
