Wickes - Chadwell Heath Reviews 

Booked a bathroom design appointment for my elderly mother to have her bath changed for a shower from Chadwell Heath store. As soon as the agent arrived he made it clear he wouldn’t be with us for long - ‘I’ll only be here for 10 minutes.’ He barely looked at the bathroom and said what my mother wanted couldn’t be done. There is no shower tray that would fit (there is one for this purpose in the brochure). Panels could not be fitted as the walls are not flat (the house is only 40 years old and in good condition). He said my mother would have to get the whole bathroom redone and implied she couldn’t afford it which is not his place to say. He left after less than 10 minutes clearly not wanting the job. What made me angry was how he made my mother feel. She said perhaps she did not deserve the alteration and would carry on with struggling with her bathing. We are now using a different company advertise replacing baths with showers for the elderly and the disabled. Perhaps Wickes could not have done this but my mother’s needs should not have been dismissed and her feelings hurt.

Visited to look for inspiration for decorating my new home, no one available in the showroom or the shop floor. There was a Nan in the showroom but he said he couldn’t talk to me as he was busy !! Queued for ages at the till and asked for a manager only to be told he doesn’t come to the tills . Guess I’m off to Wren

It is very rare that I come across a sales person in a store that will show me great care, put me at ease to know he will do his level best to accommodate my needs and wants; a person of great patience - not rushing me to make decisions; patiently walking me around units that I have already looked at many times just to make sure that I am 100% happy with my choices; etc etc. I could go on and on!! This is exactly the experience I had with Sultan at Wickes Goodmayes. He was amazing and did a brilliant job with creating my new kitchen. His professionalism and skills were greatly appreciated by myself and my husband. I had two appointments with him and at both times, he was thorough and skilful in putting together what I wanted. He was not about making money by selling me the most expensive units but he was all about giving me what I desired and giving his expert advice - even if that meant that he had to save me from making unnecessary purchases. I would 110% recommend anyone visiting the store and making appointments to ask for Sultan in the first instance, you will not regret it!! Wickes Goodmayes is the store to visit.

We ordered kitchen cabinets today and had the pleasure of getting Leanne causer she was very helpful and professional and all round nice lady thank you Leanne ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had our bathroom designed by Wickes after hearing good recommendations from friends. Our design consultant, Leanne, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service. She listened to our vision for the project and guided us with helpful recommendations to meet our needs. We were very happy with our consultation and decided to proceed with the deal. We can’t wait to see our new bathroom completed soon!

Met a very helpful young man called Taran, he helped work out how many packs of tiles we needed to complete our bathroom project.

Recently purchased some flooring for our bathroom while Wickes had a flooring offer on. Store manager ‘Abbey’ was lovely and so helpful. Explained the discounts available, advised on what underlay to use. Can’t recommend Wickes enough. Thank you Abbey and Wickes.

So helpful especially one of the workers abbey she was kind and caring never had a doubt finding something in one of the aisle with her!!

Avoid if your looking for professionalism and customer service. Abby Store Manager is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. No apologies for wasting my time and clearly cannot manage her staff who give false and incorrect information.

Cherazade was absolutely amazing with my kitchen design and ordering! I cannot recommend her enough, very proactive with suggestions and patient. Cherazade was also very mindful of budgets. Asif checked in a few times, and was wonderful too. Fingers crossed for the installation :)
