(i) How sorry you are - this doesn't resolve anything. Your unsafe work damaged the family home. Instead, inform us about the fixes. Action speaks a million times louder about any company/person verses words.
(ii) More details - as you really should be aware, a manager already came to "look" and there have been plenty of telephone calls, and email correspondence. Now an installer is supposedly coming out of hiding today to assess? Did the manager not take enough details on Friday or did they not share before going on holiday? Stop messing around.

I'm sick of the effort to try contact different parties, baseless denial and b.s. it's time to take responsibility for your work, start with the fixes and pay for the damage you've caused!!

The complete list of issues including photos / videos will be sent for your attention later on. This suggests to me you are far from the experts you claim to be. I've not decided yet if that should be distributed via email to you or more publicly.

In the meantime, here is the current list of expenses that you will need to settle, as you will understand this may not yet be exhaustive depending if any other related costs arise:
(1) Emergency plumber you left for my parents to locate invoiced at £594.00.

(2) New tank and fitment quoted at £2K.

(3) Electrical safety checks - £tbc

(4) Structural checks- £tbc

I went in to Wickes on Saturday and had to take my three children with me, which is always a stressful experience. I couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I asked a member of staff, (her name was Kim) she didn’t just tell me where it was, but she took me there herself, and was talking to my children, asking them questions and laughing with them on the way; which made the experience more enjoyable for them which in turn made my experience all round, so much easier. She was so helpful, and it was refreshing to have someone so full of life working in a retail store!

I have shoped here for years the staff are allways polite and willing to help.

Click and collect order placed and paid for 26.5.25, following stock availability check. 27.5.25 cancellation email received and refund processed. No other communication or explanation. Very poor.

I dealt with Chloe from the outset and she was excellent throughout the whole process. She was always available on the phone to answer any concerns I had and also arranged for a different part after I changed my mind about my sink, which she delivered in person. She came up with a lovely design for my kitchen.
The kitchen fitter, Shaun, did a very professional job with the kitchen. He was very clean, tidying up every day, friendly and clearly knew what he was doing, leaving me with a beautiful new kitchen.
I'm very happy with the service I have received from Wickes. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

I click and collect from Aylesbury Wickes almost weekly and the staff are always friendly and helpful even at 7am. 😂

Wickes Aylesbury were generous in giving us a donation for our presentation day, brilliant community spirit

Through Wickes' generosity via their community programme Thame Community Shed has been able to redecorate its workshop. The workshop now offers a clean and bright environment for our members. The products were provided by the Aylesbury store.

Kim, from the Aylesbury store, was very helpful. We couldn’t find the Dulux paint colour we wanted but she told us she could mix it for us. She was very knowledgeable and got us just what we wanted. Very pleased.

iv been going to wickes for 30 years I will not go to the Aylesbury branch again

We have recently undergone a bathroom refurbishment with Wickes. NEVER AGAIN

The job was scheduled to last 6 days but due to the incompetence of their in-store design consultant, ordering the wrong parts, and also taking 12 days for Wickes Customer Experience Centre to read the email requesting the correct parts, the job took 8 WEEKS to complete.
During this time we had absolutely no contact at all from our design consultant.

Also please be aware if you want to use the Wickes interest free financial agreement to pay for your installation.
We were told the agreement would not start until we were completely happy with the installation.
This was not the case. We had a number of snags that needed to be resolved so we refused to sign the job off as complete and to start the financial agreement.
Wickes however, said that the job was mostly complete and signed it off on our behalf so the financial agreement started and they would get their money from the finance company.
Even though I contacted NOVUNA, the finance company, to ask them not to start the agreement, before it went live, and was told that once Wickes asked for the agreement to start it was automatic, even if the job was incomplete, and that once live there was nothing they could do about it !!!
Such much for consumer rights.

To date (04/25), we are still awaiting a refund for works Wickes quoted for on the original order, but never carried out.
In reply, in an attempt to offset the refund, I was told that as I asked for the pipework installation in the loft to be lagged, to prevent freezing, that should have been additional £200, for 8 meters of 15mm pipe insulation and 15mins labour!!!
Again an over site by their design consultant, or it is not Wickes standard practice to insulate pipework in the loft area.

Katrina from the design team at Wickes was fantastic. She was able to support us in designing our new kitchen, and working to suit anything we needed/wanted. She was approachable, patient, professional and incredibly knowledgeable.
We cannot wait to book in to order our new kitchen!!
We will definitely be going back to get our bathroom designed!

Chloe our designer was very helpful and patient with us. She understood what big decisions we were making and was very supportive throughout the process. We spent a lot of time with Chloe and she was very knowledgeable and able to make some good recommendations to us. We were a little disappointed with some of the delivery restrictions but thid was not a reflection on Chloe.
We would happily recommend Chloe and our Wickes kitchen to anyone and would love to use Chloe's services again when we re-fit our bathroom.

I have just installed a solid wood wickes kitchen, the product is great quality and the sales rep Katrina Burton was fantastic, a real asset to Wickes. I had a slightly tricky project but she went over and above to make sure it was perfect.

Chloe was fantastic through the design process, then Craig was fantastic through the build process. All round excellent outcome

Would like to give a big shout out to Chloe and Danielle at wickes Aylesbury for helping me with my kitchen order.

Chloe designed the kitchen and gave me all the time I needed to choose what I wanted ensuring it all fitted. She supported all the way through and even checked how it had turned out when I bumped into her in store after instillation.

I had issues with customer services on the phone (complete opposite to the level of service received in the shop!) and Danielle spent nearly an hour on the phone trying to sort it out going above and beyond to help.

Amazing customer service from both.
