Good platform, uncertain investment vehicle.

Been a customer for four months and have a negative return of -0.54 GBP. Time will tell if it is a profitable investment as one thought.

Would be good to be able to operate in EUR as currency conversion significantly erodes the return on a short to mid term basis.

WhiskyInvestDirect no doubt has great products in their portfolio for investment, but their complete online system is quite old and they are using archaic ways of operating a business operation. These type of business operations were in picture way back in 1980-2000. But in today's world where faster customer centric companies are evolving I think they are lagging in this aspect.
Customer support is pathetic.

There is no chatbot or live customer care support to cater to the needs of the customers. In the world of automation where everything is dynamically evolving to adopt the latest technologies, Whiskyinvest direct is continuing with the old and archaic ways of doing businesses.

There is only one person for all the activities who is kind of very slow to respond to customer queries. No matter whatever complaints are being raised or any other queries are being created there is only person to respond.

Both the formal and informal complaints are answered by only one person. I could not find another executive who was responding to the queries.

Even though the banks have been mapped to the account, whiskyinvestdirect still require payment proofs every time payment has been made. This is ridiculous, in today's world where there are several faster ways to get payment verified they are sticking with the old ways to upload payment proof. To add to the pain they don't even consider the letter from the bank as a payment proof, I submitted my, screenshot of my bank account and even the bank letter and they refused to accept them as payment proof.
This is totally weird and ridiculous. I mean there are so many ways to get payment verified using transaction id and other security mechanisms or even using third party verification tools.

On top of that the statement by the top executives reminds me of the statements given by CEOs of Nokia, FujiFilm, Kodak when these guys were at the top of their prime and considered that no one is there to give competition to them. It is only a matter of time when any new competitor will turn the table.

Easy way for anyone interested in whiskeys and compound interest. Buy new sell old, rinse and repeat. Currency and other risks related to any physical investment apply, though some insurance is in place. Highly recommended diversification to any portfolio.

Excellent service, but a little expensive, initially. Having said that, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. They offer a unique service and, over time, the storage fees become increasingly cost-effective.

my only complany here is the commission that someone takes when I ad funds to my account. 21 euros for a transaction is a little bit high.

I have made considerable returns on the whiskeys I bought and when selling to all happens very quickly and effortlessly
