Wexford Bus (Standards)

Normally a fan of wexford bus and there drivers but not this time, I worked in the past as a mystery rider for coach companies and this journey was not great standards wise

Arklow to Dublin airport route 740A

:Bus driver rude & shouting at passengers

:Alcohol clearly being taken on board by men and walked straight pass driver to seats and drunk and bad behaviour shown by these men

: driver speeding and aggressive stopping

: unaware of cyclists, other drivers when clearly they have shown they are following rules of road

Possible nothing will come of this comment but wexford bus are slipping on there standards lately. Reviews can be forged online to make companies look good but how about just be good

My bad experience with Wexford Bus

I am leaving this review on behalf of my wife.

She booked a New Ross → Dublin journey with a 5-minute connection in Wexford, as offered by the booking platform. On 22 January 2026, the first bus was delayed by approximately 20 minutes, making the connection impossible and causing her to miss a confirmed medical appointment that could not be rescheduled.

When she contacted customer service, the response focused exclusively on “non-refundable tickets,” ignoring the unrealistic connection time and the service failure.

Later, she also received incorrect information about Leap Card fares and was overcharged.

The company amended one unused ticket date but refused any meaningful resolution or compensation.

This is not about a minor inconvenience. It is about how a company treats its customers when something goes wrong.

Due to the dismissive handling of this situation, I strongly do not recommend this company.
