Second job we’ve had done by these guys and a second great effort. Beautiful finish and a very ‘can do’ approach by the team. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

I can highly recommend this company. From start to finish they were professional, great communication and excellent workmanship. Matt came out to quote for our new overlay quartz worktops, upstand, undermounted sink and cooker splashback. He was really helpful with advice, brought plenty of samples and provided a competitive quote and installation date. Mark and Mark did a fabulous job fitting the sink and overlays, the kitchen has been totally transformed replacing our tired old black worktops with a beautiful Bianco white quartz which has a subtle sparkle! They were so professional, tidy and efficient as well as being really friendly and considerate. We were very impressed with the whole experience. Mark even made a matching quartz chopping board which was such a nice gesture and very useful! I would definitely recommend Westendstone to anyone considering changing their worktops. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

I couldn’t recommend Mark & Matt more highly for the job they have done covering our kitchen worktops. From the quote which came out at just half the price of Quick Tops, one of the national companies, to the installation this week they have been a pleasure to work with. Our beautiful new worktops have transformed our tired old kitchen.

We've just had our island and kitchen work surface covered. Overall, we're extremely happy with West End Stone Supplies. The island was a little complicated, as we wanted it extended at the same time. They built the extension, installed the support for it, and then covered it. It all looks great now. They left it all really tidy too. Everyone we had contact with throughout the process were friendly and helpful too.

Great communication from start to finish, installation went smoothly and the finished result is lovely.
Matt is great at responding to emails and phone calls, Mark and Mark are very professional on the install side, really nice guys who know their trade and do it well.
The overlays have transformed our kitchen from dark wood tops to lovely bright bianco tesoro quartz.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

Great experience with this company, very professional throughout, and the communication and service from Matt has really be fantastic which you just do not get with big companies. We love our new worktops, they look great, the workmen were friendly and courteous and went above and beyond - even fixing a leaky tap which was really unexpected!
Whilst I hope to not need to use them again for a while as I'm not planning to move or replace my kitchen anytime soon, I would 100% recommend this company and definitely use again.

Lovely guys who go above and beyond to get the best possible job done. I could not recommend them high enough and would strongly suggest you speak with them to see what they can do.

We were looking to restore our Microcement kitchen with toppers so I researched locally in the south west ,Bath and Bristol looking specifically for toppers and over lays. I contacted one company in the Bristol area who were going to do a site visit, after 3 failed attempts I started to look again. Westend Stone were actually recommended by chance by a friend **TIP** when researching local companies don't be fooled by organisations pitching as independent or local (kitchen makeovers, Quartzize, joes doors etc).. do a deep dive !

Anyway I have broken this down into 3 sections , scoring up to 10 in each section. ( 1 poor to 10 excellent )

Comms: 9 /10 Matt was the customer facing side, he dealt with the booking of onsite visits and explaining the process. After sending him some measurements and photos, he came back to me pretty swiftly with a quote. I am scoring a 9 based on the fact : Matt provided a professional quote and break down within 72 hrs of our conversation. He was very friendly on the phone, in no rush to get off and gave good explanations of everything. He always returned voice mails and text messages promptly as well as following up after the initial quote.

Site Visit: 10/10 Matt and I arranged a day to measure up, he passed on Mark's number and we arranged a convenient time in the day via text ( also Mark text me 15 mins before arriving at my home so perfect!) . Bang on time he arrived 11:30 to measure up. Mark set to work, he was quick, efficient and very friendly as well as answering all my questions. He spotted a few small errors with the previous install and said he was happy to correct with his plumber ( a very nice add-on). Mark also provided larger samples of the stone which were very helpful before selecting our final top. I am scoring 10 as he went above and beyond, adding in some extra jobs as well as being being quick to measure up (45 mins ) offer professional advice on after care and product and of course being on time!!!

Install : 10/10. I texted Mark on the Sunday and asked what time to expect him on the Monday morning, again a prompt reply, " See you at 8:30" Having been involved with several large renovations, my experience has not been the greatest with tradesman: No 1 on that list was punctuality. In previous projects builders, plumbers and electricians would rarely turn up, let alone arrive on time, so I was super impressed when Mark and Markus pulled up on my driveway at 8:29...a great start!

Mark pushed on very quickly from the get go using our drive way to cut the stone, whilst Markus worked on our sink as we needed to remove the existing tap and replace. I was impressed at their no nonsense approach, they worked methodically, constantly vacuuming and cleaning as well a disposing all the rubbish using their own means. We went for the Bianco Tesoro quartz, there were several challenges they had to overcome ( sills no being flush, unlevelled wet sodden etc), however it didn't delay their progress. Once Mark fitted the quartz, he started his snagging list ensuring all masking, edges and tops were smooth and correct. I really liked the attention to detail that Mark displayed, one thing I have experienced over the years is the demise of that love and care in trade jobs, thankfully Mark & Westend have restored that faith. Also I want to importantly add that Westend were competitively priced in the market, most were pretty much in line with Westend ( varied 5-15 % lower or higher) so we were more than satisfied with the rate, paying 50% before and the following balance being payed via BACS on completion.

So my 10 score is more than backed up by my review on the Install & VFM. Westened were very much faultless and the cherry on top? Mark gave me a free chopping board :) I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Westend , Thank you again Nicholas F , Swainswick, Bath

We found this company by asking on our local Facebook page and they came highly recommended. We had already seen a national company but they could not do the curved edges we wanted and the quote was as high as replacement worktops. All we can say is that it was a stroke of luck we asked for recommendations. From beginning to end they were friendly, accommodating and so professional. Matt called and went through the procedure and within a week or so Mark came up on a Sunday to measure up & come up with suggestions to make our choice of colours easier. Within a day we had a full quote which we found acceptable and a date was given for installation. They arrived promptly on the day and we left them to it. We were delighted with the result and could not have asked for more. The men who did it were professional, polite and a credit to the company and left everything immaculate. Matt even called last night to check that we were happy with everything. We couldn't recommend them highly enough and are so pleased we found them.

Very personal experience from start to finish with this small, local business. Friendly, honest, reliable, good communication. Tidy, professional install with a great finish and a free chopping board with left over quartz. Under quoted Joe's doors/quartzize by £1000 without mentioning that I had had a quote from them as well. I'm really happy with my decision to go with them, the kitchen looks great.

After stumbling upon Westendstone, called Matt to discuss kitchen work tops. Received advice re extras, process etc and arranged a survey. Mark came round with samples of a good size (8.30 on a Sunday😎!!), took measurements gave more advice. Installed yesterday (8th March). The very friendly Mark and Mark. Quick install (5hours!), on time, tidy, no mess. Kitchen now looks amazing. Thanks to the 2 Marks and Matt on the phone. Highly recommended!!

I had a worktop installed in the kitchen by west end stone .This worktop installation was supposed to be done 5years ago.I was pleased to know the company had not changed.They were very good. Installation went smoothly no problems and they listened when l spoke about the edges of the worktop .They were professional. I was quite pleased with everything and they tidied after themselves. I was especially impressed with the follow up call l received from the company enquiring weather l was still pleased with everything,that does not happen these days. I will highly recommend them

These guys are great. They were prompt, helpful and the finished product looks fantastic. We are very happy with them and would recommend without hesitation.
