Shameful ownership and service.

The one star is for staff who were exemplary, and the location; Negril Jamaica is a beautiful place.
The owner has had the business 40 years and has not reinvested anything back into the business. The cabins are dated; equipped with only a ceiling fan in the front room and a wall fan in the bedroom. It would have been so easy to install air conditioning units to each cabin. Whilst there we endured two lengthy power cuts; the first around 8 hours, the second being of 18 hour duration. 32° and no cooling whatsoever. Anything in the freezer has to be used immediately, and items in the fridge also. No apology was given and no offer of compensation. Another guest complained and was told by the owner that he was barely able to survive, let alone compensate. In 40 years the owner couldn't install a backup generator, or put solar panels on the cabins.
On another occasion we were all sent a flyer saying there would be disruptive building works for a day between certain hours. The works carried on for 3 days; again, no apology or compensation.
The owner is clearly someone who has taken his guests for granted for 40 years; siphoning money from the business and not reinvesting. My stay was two weeks and cost just under £1000; in my opinion really bad value for money.
