Plantation shutters for a bedroom sliding door

It was a very slow process from initial quote to check measure and then installation (7 months), including a promised installation before Christmas (block-out curtains removed in preparation) but actual installation in the following month. A lot of poor communication between their office and installer.
The shutters themselves are not fit-for-purpose; we ordered dual-track shutters but, with one panel, the shutters barely open as they clash with the frame to the fixed panel of the door. Both panels have excess clearance top and bottom to the tracks (the rollers could be recessed into the top and bottom rails of the panels for neatness) which lets in daylight.
The pelmet should be deeper to conceal the top rollers, but the quote of $450 seemed excessive.
The installer was recalled to seal between the box-frame and the plastered brick reveal, adjust the panels so they were square to the box frame and to adjust overhead track fittings.
